Chapter 3095: On the Bedside Table
He was in a rush to make her feel better. He was scared that she might get mad at him.
“Really?” Yan Zhiqing was still doubtful.
“Of course,” Wei Wucai said seriously. “Why would I lie?”
He added, “Eat more, but don’t eat too much. I am not worried that you might gain weight. I am just worried that you might not be able to get a good night’s sleep.”
“Alright.” Yan Zhiqing finally thought that Wei Wucai was being reasonable.
And so, Yan Zhiqing was in a good mood again and she ate a little more.
However, she didn’t dare to eat too much.
It was very late. If she ate too much, her face might swell up.
Wei Wucai was the one who finished whatever food that was left.
After they finished dinner, Yan Zhiqing wanted to help clean up.
Wei Wucai said to her, “Don’t bother. Just ask the room service to clean it up.”
“I can’t do that. How can you sleep with the hotpot sll?” Yan Zhiqing said. “I am not tired anyway. I will clean up before I leave.”
“Sounds good.” Wei Wucai nodded.
This was sothing he didn’t expect. Yan Zhiqing might seem carefree, but she was also thoughtful and considerate.
In addition, she cleaned up very quickly and efficiently. She didn’t seem like the daughter of a wealthy family who normally didn’t do anything.
Wei Wucai couldn’t help but ask, “Do you usually do housework? You seem skilled.”
“I don’t really do housework. But as an actress, I often have to stay on set for a long ti, which ans that I would be staying in a standard hotel room for a long ti. The hotel room would basically be my bedroom while the filming is still going on. Although the hotel cleans the room every day, I find it hard to trust their cleaning services. And so, I would normally clean the areas that I usually use.”
She further explained, “Sotis, when I am not very tired after a day of filming, I would tidy up the room if I rember to do so. Qiaohan doesn’t stay in the sa room as and there’s no need for to call her to my room late at night. As ti passed, I beca more skilled.”
When they were done cleaning up, Wei Wucai turned on the ventilator in the room to air out the sll of the hotpot.
“Wait a second. I have an aroma diffuser. I will get it for you,” Yan Zhiqing said.
Before Wei Wucai could reply, she left with her bustling energy.
Wei Wucai was a man. He never used diffusers.
But since Yan Zhiqing wanted to give him one, he wouldn’t reject it.
Soon, Yan Zhiqing appeared with a white diffuser in her hand.
The diffuser was not big. It was the size of two of Wei Wucai’s fists combined.
“You even brought this here?” Wei Wucai asked with a smile.
“Yeah. I normally put a few drops of lavender oil in the diffuser to help sleep. Filming is tiring. However, if I go too deep into my role while filming during the day, I would get nightmares. I would dream about the film, which would sotis beco a horror movie.
“And so, I would add a drop of lavender oil and it helps sleep very well. My sleep quality gets much better. Here you go. A bottle for you.”
“If you give these things, what about you?” Wei Wucai asked.
It was unknown what had popped into Yan Zhiqing’s mind when she suddenly started blushing.
When she saw that Wei Wucai was still waiting for her to answer…
Yan Zhiqing had no choice but to say, “I brought two. I placed one on the bedside table and one in the bathroom.”
“I… I usually like to turn on the diffuser while I am taking a bath,” Yan Zhiqing said. “Actually, I prefer scented candles, but they are not very safe, which is why I use an essential oil diffuser.”
