Chapter 1127: Uninvited Guest
Han Dongping shouted angrily at Han Zhuoli’s back, “You’re despicable for siding with outsiders!”
Han Zhuoli and Wang Juhuai exited Han Dongping’s office and left in their own cars.
Wang Juhuai thought that since he was already out, he might as well pick Xia Qingwei up too.
He glanced at the ti. Xia Qingwei’s class had not ended yet. He should still be able to make it.
Just in case, he still sent a text ssage to Xia Qingwei to tell her that he was going to fetch her.
Han Zhuoli sent Lu Man a ssage as well, telling her that the issue had been resolved and even explaining in detail about Wang Juhuai’s effort.
Han Zhuoli didn’t say much during this incident because he intentionally wanted to give this opportunity to Wang Juhuai.
Even though Lu Man had started calling Wang Juhuai “Dad,” he was only just her stepfather. Hence, they were still a little distant from each other. They couldn’t beco as close as an actual biological father-daughter pair in such a short period of ti.
Wang Juhuai stood up for her at the first opportunity so that he could let Lu Man know that he was her father. During important monts, he would really stand up for her.
Since Wang Juhuai had the intention to, Han Zhuoli naturally wanted to help him. He couldn’t let Wang Juhuai’s heartfelt thoughts down.

Wang Juhuai was still driving, so he placed his phone on the phone stand.
He pressed the button on the steering wheel that was connected to the phone and answered the call while wearing his Bluetooth earpiece. “Man Man?”
“Dad, Zhuoli told about everything. Thank you so much.” How could Lu Man not feel moved?
In both her lifetis, this was the first ti that she was protected by a father figure.
It’s just a small piece of leaked-out news. Honestly, it’s an issue that could barely scratch her.
However, Wang Juhuai stood up for her imdiately to protect her. Such tender, loving care and protection made her entire heart feel warm and fuzzy.
“You’re already calling Dad, why do you still have to thank ? Isn’t it right of to protect you, especially when you are being bullied by others like this?” Wang Juhuai glared. “Don’t treat like an outsider again next ti.”
“Okay!” Lu Man nodded. “What would you like to eat? I’ll head over with Zhuoli again tonight and I’ll personally cook so dishes just for you to show my fealty.”
“Hahahahaha!” Wang Juhuai was elated. He finally had a daughter who would be filial to him too. “I’m not picky, I like eating anything. Just prepare your best dish.”
“Every dish is my best dish.” Lu Man laughed. “Alright, then, I’ll prepare everything accordingly.”
“Sure, sure, sure,” Wang Juhuai replied.
“Are you driving right now?” Lu Man heard honking noises through her phone.
“Yes. I’m right on my way to fetch your mom,” Wang Juhuai said.
“Alright, I’ll hang up, then. Please drive safely,” Lu Man hurriedly said.
After hanging up the phone, Wang Juhuai was overjoyed.
His daughter was like a thoughtful and warm cotton blanket, and she was so considerate and caring too.

On the other hand, Xia Qingwei had just ended class. As she walked out of the classroom, she took a look at her handphone and saw the ssage that Wang Juhuai had sent.
That man was still insisting on picking her up.
Xia Qingwei didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry and thought, What was the point of hiring that chauffeur even?
Xia Qingwei replied to Wang Juhuai, “Alright, I just ended my lessons, you don’t have to rush.”
As she started walking out, students and children walked past her too. As their paths crossed, they would say politely, “See you again, Teacher!”
Xia Qingwei smiled and bade them goodbye one by one.
Just as she was bading the students goodbye, she noticed a person ahead of her from the corner of her eye.
Xia Qingwei didn’t mind it either and decided to turn away.
Her attention was on the children.
Suddenly, that person ahead called, “Xia Qingwei.”
