“With no artiste to record their program, what could they even air? Right now, the only result they are about to face is the indefinite suspension of their broadcast,” Lu Man said.

Lu Dongliu smiled and said, “Actually, you didn’t have to tell that. You could have still signed a contract with first. Eventually, even if The Perforr were to stop airing, it would still have had nothing to do with you.”
Lu Man smiled. “Of course, I could have first signed a contract with you for the entire season. However, we worked well together. It might be a little presumptuous of to say this, but I treat you as a friend. I definitely can’t do sothing that will make you lose out. Moreover, even if I don’t say this first, when The Perforr eventually stops airing, you definitely would realize it. By then, this small good and harmonious working relationship we had built up before might perhaps completely burn to nothing. To ruin my reputation and character for just that contract, it’s not worth it.”
“Alright. For this attitude of yours alone, I will be your friend,” Lu Dongliu said. He was even more impressed by Lu Man’s strict and disciplined character.
She was far-sighted and soone who planned ahead. She did not focus only on the short-term benefit right before her.
It was only with soone like this that there could be a possibility of working more together in the future, and for a longer ti.

“You are still busy over there, so I won’t disturb you any further. When you are free, we can talk again,” Lu Man said.
“Alright.” Lu Dongliu was extrely happy. Ever since he had invited Lu Man to the show and started working with her, Classic X Files‘s reputation and viewership ratings had been steadily climbing upwards day by day.
Right now, he didn’t have any worries. His family life was going smoothly while his work life was getting better and better.
