"Whether he likes or not doesn’t matter, as long as I like him."
She said stubbornly, hoping that after hearing these words, this person would leave her alone.
She really had no energy to entangle with n now, especially n from the Quinton Family.
Hugo’s eyes narrowed, a sharp pain pierced through his heart.
Seeing the woman’s stubborn little face, he was furious to the point of madness.
"I’m better than him! You can like ."
Eleanor’s heart panicked, and she tightly protected her clothes.
"Mr. Quinn, there are so many won who like you, why waste your ti on ? If it’s because of Marcus, there’s really no need. I will still talk to Marcus in the future."
The ti she spent with this man wasn’t long; how could he truly like her? The only possibility was Marcus. Was he planning to sacrifice his happiness for Marcus?
At this mont, she sowhat admired Hugo, being able to give so much for his child.
"It has nothing to do with Marcus."
Hugo looked seriously at her face; it was truly strange.
Eleanor certainly wasn’t a stunning beauty. Over the years, many won around him had tried all ans to seduce him.
But only Eleanor fascinated him so much.
Fascinated enough that after kissing her that night, he still rembered that taste.
In a daze.
Eleanor was kissed again, and this ti the kiss was gentle and lingering.
Her struggle gradually subsided, as if she had fallen into a boundless ocean.
Until her body felt a chill, she shivered and woke up.
But by then, they were already candid with each other.
Hugo’s physique was excellent, with perfect eight-pack abs and a v-line, appearing slim in clothes, but well-built without.
Under the light, his face appeared even more alluring, his peach blossom eyes deeply affectionate. She blushed and slightly shifted her gaze away.
"Mr. Quinn, if you continue, I will hate you."
The words ’I will hate you’ were like a dagger, stabbing hard into Hugo’s heart.
He lowered his head to look at her and ultimately didn’t continue.
"Daddy..."
Marcus’s voice ca from the doorway, with a hint of tears.
Hugo cursed under his breath, pulled the blanket nearby, and covered Eleanor.
He should have closed the door when he just ca in.
Eleanor was initially very angry, but now, discovering Marcus standing at the door, she felt more ashad, her face turning crimson.
"What... what are you doing to Mommy?"
Marcus rubbed his tear-stained eyes, looking at everything in confusion.
Eleanor dared not face the child’s innocent gaze. She pushed the person off the bed and wrapped herself in a cocoon of blankets.
Hugo suffered a painful fall; he wasn’t wearing clothes and felt a little embarrassed at that mont.
"Your mommy is sick, I’m treating her."
He hastily made up an excuse and put on his shirt, walking over to Marcus.
"Why did you co out?"
Marcus looked into his eyes, feeling that Daddy was lying to him.
"Daddy, you’re a bad person."
Eleanor, covered in blankets, heard Marcus say this and nodded in agreent.
She finally understood, Hugo was indeed a beast in attire.
Thinking he was a decent man, she had followed him to the villa, intending to treat Marcus, but had been teased multiple tis.
No man was a good thing, after all.
"Don’t talk nonsense."
Hugo frowned, reached out, and rubbed Marcus’s head, "I was just persuading her not to leave."
Marcus seed to believe him, cautiously asking, "Did Mommy agree?"
Listening to their conversation, Eleanor felt Hugo was even more despicable, how could he deceive the child like this.
"Moving tomorrow, I’ll go with you to see her off, co on, let’s head back to your room first."
Hugo led him away, not forgetting Eleanor, who was completely naked, could not be seen by anyone.
Marcus obediently returned to his room, and only then did Eleanor erge from the blankets, annoyedly picking up her clothes to dress.
She glanced at her packed suitcase, sitting down dejectedly, tugging at her hair.
Just a mont ago, they were so close...
She took out her phone, feeling that the situation with Hugo was too dangerous, she could only seek help from Samantha.
Samantha probably thought she had been bullied, and called imdiately.
"Eleanor, what’s going on with your ssage? You said Hugo won’t let you leave. Did you eat him and don’t want to take responsibility?! I’m telling you, if that’s the case, I won’t co to pick you up."
Samantha was more open-minded, hoping she and Hugo could spark so chemistry and fiercely retaliate against Grace.
Eleanor explained awkwardly and then calmly inquired.
"Do you think he just wants to play with ? He saw my stretch marks and said he didn’t mind ..."
Samantha’s eyes flashed with surprise; she was quite amazed indeed.
Normally, with Hugo’s status, what kind of woman can’t he have, why would he fancy a divorced woman?
Besides, Eleanor wasn’t just divorced, she had a child, with stretch marks on her stomach.
"Maybe he really ans it, perhaps you’ll end up together, didn’t he divorce Grace? Maybe you can give it a try."
Samantha started scheming, then continued slyly, "If you really end up with him, it would be quite a blow to Grace and Nathaniel, imagine Nathaniel becoming your junior, how nice."
"Alright, just co pick up quickly."
Eleanor rubbed her temples in frustration and then hung up, hoping this woman would be reliable.
About half an hour later, the doorbell finally rang downstairs, she ran down as if liberated.
Opening the door, it was indeed Samantha, who was looking at her ambiguously, probably knowing what had happened to her.
During the earlier scuffle, Hugo had left several marks on her neck.
Hugo heard the sound downstairs and ca down to see Samantha and Eleanor standing together.
His face instantly darkened, looking gloomily at Eleanor.
Eleanor felt a tingle on her scalp, but still spoke, "This is my friend Samantha, you should have seen her last ti at the hospital, she has co to pick up. I’ll be staying at her place for now, she’ll find a place."
After speaking, she went upstairs to get her suitcase.
Hugo remained where he was, visibly unhappy.
Samantha was also sowhat fearful of him in this state, couldn’t help but step back a little.
Eleanor dragged her suitcase down the stairs, knowing Hugo certainly couldn’t keep her now, which was why she called Samantha over.
