Samantha Sullivan stayed here for a while and then left. Perhaps because the two of them had reached this agreent, she was in such a good mood she felt like she was floating while walking.

Back at ho, she couldn’t resist sharing the news with Evan Yancy, who was wrapped in an apron, holding a mop, cleaning the house.

"You’re saying Marcus and our daughter are promised to each other?"

He asked this, seeing her so happy, and didn’t have much to say.

Samantha joyfully nodded, picked up her daughter, and touched her chubby face.

"Mommy has paved the way for your future. I think this son-in-law looks good. You two should get along well, understand?"

The child looked at her like that, laughing and nibbling on her fingers.

Samantha felt even happier, as if her daughter was also quite satisfied with this boyfriend.

The matter of the childhood betrothal was settled like that. No n on either side opposed it, as they weren’t the ones calling the shots at ho anyway.

Eleanor Hollis had been frequently visiting the hospital these past few days, sotis even sleeping there. When she woke up with her eyes open one morning, she was startled to see that Marcus wasn’t on the bed.

"Marcus!"

She sat up in bed in one swift motion, seeing the child sitting on the windowsill, and finally lowered her heart, which had been in her throat.

"Mommy, I want to leave the hospital. My body is already well, and I miss being ho."

Eleanor felt for the child and, seeing his longing eyes, couldn’t bear to refuse, so she just nodded.

"Okay, I’ll go talk to the doctor. Your illness has mostly recovered, and indeed, you can be discharged."

Marcus’ eyes sparkled with excitent. He imdiately climbed down from the windowsill and hugged one of Eleanor’s legs.

"Mommy, I knew you were the best."

Eleanor smiled and went out to handle the discharge procedures.

But as soon as she stepped out, she saw Vivian Jacobs, who was undergoing an examination.

Vivian had co alone, talking with the doctor about sothing, her face full of worry.

"Miss Hollis."

Seeing her, Vivian looked a bit scared, took a step back, greeted her, and then left imdiately.

"What did she just say?"

Eleanor inquired with the doctor, only to hear the doctor say, "That girl’s uterus has a problem. She will never be able to have children in this lifeti. She wanted to ask if there was any way. It seems she loves her husband very much, but I explained that the solution I ntioned is extrely risky and could cost her life if anything goes wrong. Who knows what she’s planning. Young won these days..."

Before the doctor could finish, Eleanor strode outside.

Vivian was standing at the hospital entrance, so overwheld that she didn’t notice anyone approaching.

"Vivian."

Eleanor called her na and stood beside her.

Vivian quickly wiped the tears from her face. "Miss Hollis."

Eleanor patted her on the shoulder and sighed.

"I hope you don’t try that solution. Actually, I’m like you; I can’t have children either. If Jude Shaw truly loves you, he won’t care whether you can have children or not. What he values more is you. When Gloria passed away suddenly, none of us could accept it. I even thought Jude and Julian Sterling would be trapped in that kind of grief forever."

Hearing Gloria Galloway’s na, Vivian’s face showed earnestness, evidently wanting to know what happened between them.

"Gloria was a friend of mine, a very simple and hardworking girl, much like your personality. Perhaps that’s why Jude wanted to marry you. This isn’t a burden you should bear alone. Don’t do anything foolish; tell Jude. He won’t mind."

Vivian’s hands slowly clenched. Being with Jude was already a blessing beyond asure. She thought she was lucky, but that luck hadn’t lasted long.

She was so eager to have a child with her husband, a symbol of their union, yet she couldn’t even manage such a simple thing now.

"Did President Quinn ever ntion you?"

She asked cautiously, her eyes filled with trepidation.

Only Jude Shaw could make her so.

Eleanor smiled, her mouth curving up.

"We tried many things before, but they all failed. I even considered finding a surrogate, but a lot happened in between. He never blad and always respected my wishes. Instead, I was the one who couldn’t get past it. You’re very much like how I was before, just don’t overthink it. Go on, discuss it properly with him."

Vivian nodded, slowly rolled down the car window after getting in.

"Thank you, Miss Hollis. I thought Jude’s friends wouldn’t like ."

Eleanor lifted an eyebrow, "You are the one who can pull him out of hell. Don’t underestimate yourself."

Vivian gripped the steering wheel tighter, gently pressed the accelerator.

What Eleanor said gave her great courage, maybe it was ti to share this secret with Jude.

Returning to the villa, Jude was tending to so work.

"Jude."

She walked over and gently hugged his waist from behind.

Jude’s body stiffened a bit, then he turned off the computer.

"What’s up?"

Vivian usually wasn’t this clingy unless sothing happened.

"I went to the hospital today and t Eleanor Hollis."

Vivian said lightly, a trace of struggle flashing in her eyes.

"Why did you go to the hospital?"

Jude moved the computer further away, then held her and kissed her on the forehead.

Because of this gesture, Vivian completely relaxed.

"I went for a check-up. The doctor said I can never have children in this lifeti. I’m very upset and don’t know what to do. Jude, I love you and want to have a child with you."

Jude didn’t say anything, gently patting her back.

"Did Eleanor tell you to confess to ?"

Vivian nodded, her hands gradually clenching, wanting to know Jude’s thoughts.

"You did the right thing. A child to us is just the icing on the cake. It’s okay, besides, Evan has a child. Let Samantha have a second one, and we’ll raise them for now."

Vivian was stunned, unable to believe that Jude would say such things, feeling both like crying and laughing.

"You really don’t mind?"

When a woman can’t have children, n generally choose to divorce.

"I don’t mind, as long as you’re healthy. In fact, I’ll talk to Evan soon. I’m sure he’d be willing to help us."

Vivian felt a wave of relief, seeing that he wasn’t joking, and excitedly nestled into his embrace.

"Jude, you’re really wonderful, so wonderful I don’t even know what to do. eting you is truly a blessing, a great blessing."

Jude touched her head, not saying anything, his mouth gently curving upwards.

Vivian usually was a very strong-willed girl, but in front of him, she would occasionally reveal such a soft side, making her all the more endearing.

Perhaps their future would indeed be beautiful, who knows.
