"What do you an?! After sleeping with soone, you plan to turn your back on them heartlessly?! Nathaniel Quinn, do you think Eleanor Hollis would still be with you? Think about how you’ve treated her before, she’s completely given up on you now. You really don’t understand won, dreaming of getting back together with her, dream on!"

Her face was completely bloodless. Nathaniel Quinn’s disappointnt just now felt like a knife deeply stabbing into her heart.

Nathaniel’s movents paused for a mont, then he stared intently at Grace Lynch.

"Grace Lynch, you’re not even divorced from my uncle, yet you couldn’t wait to roll around with . Do you know how despicable you are? You cheated first; aren’t you afraid my uncle will cheat afterward?"

Grace Lynch trembled; she would never allow Hugo Quinn to cheat, Hugo was hers, as was the title of the wealthy family’s madam.

It seed Nathaniel Quinn saw through her thoughts, and sneered a bit, not knowing what he saw in her before.

He curled his lips, thinking of Eleanor Hollis, his gaze softened slightly.

"Grace Lynch, both you and I cheated; we wronged Eleanor Hollis. Don’t do anything else to hurt her in the future."

Now, he only thought about how to make up for the neglect towards Eleanor Hollis over the past few years.

Grace looked at this man incredulously, grabbed his coat in one swift motion, and fiercely threw it to the ground.

"I haven’t wronged Eleanor Hollis at all! Our relationship was always initiated by you, wasn’t it?! Nathaniel Quinn, I mistook you. I thought you truly liked , but how long has it been, and you’re starting to fall for your ex-wife again, you’re just so base!!"

Nathaniel’s eyes flickered, indeed, he was base.

When Eleanor Hollis belonged to him, he didn’t cherish her; now that she doesn’t, he’s starting to regret it.

"I’m base, aren’t you also a witch? Grace Lynch, it wasn’t you who saved my uncle and back then, yet you had the audacity to steal Eleanor Hollis’s credit. If I had known earlier that the one who saved was Eleanor, we would’ve been so happy over the years."

He stood up, picked the coat up from the ground.

Grace Lynch gritted her teeth tightly; she finally realized how ruthless a man can be.

It was only when Nathaniel Quinn left that she angrily threw the pillow to the ground.

"Eleanor Hollis!!!"

"Eleanor Hollis!! Slut!!"

She vented for a while, took a deep breath, and gritted her teeth as she put on her dress.

She wouldn’t let Eleanor Hollis destroy her life; now Nathaniel Quinn has changed his heart, and she absolutely would not allow anything to happen on Hugo Quinn’s side again.

Grace Lynch’s eyes glinted maliciously; she had never spared a thought for Eleanor Hollis, even when having an affair with Nathaniel Quinn, she did it as if it were her right.

Because Nathaniel Quinn liked her, loved her, she enjoyed that feeling of being loved.

Even though she hadn’t thought about divorcing Hugo Quinn, she absolutely wouldn’t allow Nathaniel Quinn to transfer his love to another woman!

She also turned and left the room, the once-ambiguous air now completely cold and desolate.

anwhile, Hugo Quinn had already brought Eleanor Hollis ho, seeing her weak body again and thinking about her stomach condition, he prepared a light supper.

Eleanor Hollis sat on the sofa, her trembling body feeling slightly better.

"Mommy..."

Marcus anxiously pinched the hem of her dress, his lips pursed into a straight line.

Eleanor Hollis knew this child had helped her a great deal tonight; Old Master Quinn was probably summoned to the first-floor hall by him.

"I’m fine, it’s just my stomach condition."

She patted Marcus’s head and finished an entire bowl of light porridge, her pale lips finally looking a bit better.

Hugo Quinn frowned as he looked at her frail body and placed a few other pills on the coffee table.

"Rember to take them on ti; the doctor said your stomach condition is quite severe."

Eleanor Hollis lowered her head, appearing quietly obedient, but Hugo Quinn knew this person wasn’t actually that submissive.

"Thank you."

It seed she had said thank you too many tis to him.

"Recover here in peace, don’t worry about anything else."

Hugo Quinn grew increasingly curious about her; sotis, the more delicate a woman is, the more it arouses a man’s protective instincts. Right now, Eleanor Hollis was just like that.

She sat quietly and obediently on the sofa, her face a little pale, but her gaze was full of defiance.

To Hugo Quinn, she exuded charm all over, a kind of indescribable charm.

Eleanor Hollis took the dicine and soon returned to her room. As she lay on the bed, Nathaniel Quinn’s words echoed in her mind.

She showed a hint of sarcasm on her face—want to start over?

Is it possible? Only her own heart knew how much she loathed that family.

In the study.

Hugo Quinn held a cigarette, staring blankly at the computer screen until the ash fell on the floor, only then did he realize.

He shut off the computer with a "bang," walked to the balcony, and quietly finished smoking.

"Dad... Dad."

A timid voice sounded behind him, Hugo Quinn quickly extinguished the cigarette butt into the ashtray and then turned around.

"Didn’t I tell you to go to sleep? Why aren’t you asleep."

He squatted down, pinching Marcus’s cheek, his eyes full of smiles.

"Dad, I... I..."

Marcus’s face showed so urgency, reaching out to grab Hugo Quinn’s sleeve.

"You have sothing to tell ? Is it sothing important?"

This was the first ti Marcus was so serious about talking to him.

He showed a gentle face, pulling Marcus into his arms, and the father and son sat on the sofa in the study.

"Speak, I’m listening."

Marcus lowered his head, organizing his thoughts for a while, then raised his head.

"Divorce... divorce that woman."

After he spoke, he pursed his lips, cautiously looking at Hugo Quinn.

Hugo Quinn knew who Marcus was referring to; although the child had autism, it didn’t an he didn’t understand anything.

He just kept everything in his heart, unwilling to speak to anyone.

"Why? Marcus, you don’t like her? But she is your mom; she gave birth to you, that’s a blessing."

No matter what Grace Lynch had done wrong, she was Marcus’s mom, and that fact couldn’t be changed.

Marcus lowered his head, disappointnt in his eyes, "She... she stabbed , it hurt..."

Hugo Quinn’s heart trembled, his gaze suddenly turned icy, his tone cold, "What did you say?"

Marcus’s mouth puckered, biting his lip as he looked at him, "She... stabbed , I rember... it hurt, Dad, I... I’m scared of her..."

Children don’t lie, especially a child with autism.

Hugo Quinn exuded a world-destroying fury, his pupils contracted fiercely, "When did this happen, why didn’t you tell ?"

Marcus’s eyes reddened, he shook his head, he only had this mory, the specific ti had long been forgotten.

"She... she also threw my... my puzzles..."

He stamred and added, gripping Hugo Quinn’s sleeve more tightly.
