Angel closed his eyes, looking sowhat weary: "Why am I wasting my ti on these pointless things? They do nothing to help my magic mastery."

"Well... six months ago, you didn’t need to waste ti on these issues at all, but back then, your progress was also slow. In fact, it’s precisely because you’ve invested energy in these matters that you’ve made such rapid progress now."

"Has my progress been quick?"

"Very quick. I bet no one in the history of the Magic Academy has progressed as fast as you. After all, you’re almost enjoying all the resources of the Magic Academy."

"But I still feel it’s not fast enough."

"How fast do you want to be?" the demon grinned and said, "The improvent of magic requires hundreds to thousands of years, it’s an unchanging law. There’s no way in this world to solve this problem."

"The practice of magic requires endless ti, but my life is limited. Now I have to waste endlessly in aningless places... Blood Elves are truly a terrible race." Lowering his head slightly, Angel’s gaze fell on a passage of text.

"Angels and demons are two completely different races. Angels originate from ’Heaven’, a single race, serving the ’Holy Spirit’, viewing the implentation of values as the aning of their existence. Demons can’t even be called a single race. In fact, they’re made up of many different tribes. How they originally appeared and ca to be unified under the na of demons is unknown."

"Excellent ’Demon Envoys’, collaborators of demons, spokespersons, will have the chance to be transford by the Demon Lord into true demons. This is, so far, the most reliable rumor regarding the origin of demons, providing a perfect explanation for their origin. This rumor’s foundation is in the already confird, imnse life-altering abilities of the ’Demon Lord’. Many races have legends of ’Creators’, generally believed to be of the light. However, those who truly excel in creation, in fact, are the dark ’Demon Lords’. ’Only by denying life can one transform life.’ Although this statent is difficult to accept, it is the truth."

"The life transformation that Krimasha seeks, the ’Demon Lord’ has long mastered. It dates back further than the history of any race on the Keltos Continent."

"Of course, this is just speculation. So far, there are no known cases of a ’Demon Envoy’ being transford into a demon by the favor of the ’Demon Lord’.

Angel quickly turned to the next page.

Yet, in front of him, there were only blank pages.

Yes, blank, with nothing but page numbers on several consecutive pages. On the last page, soone had left a note: "Does anyone know how to find this part of the content?"

"Becoming a demon... then I could surpass the limits of Blood Elves’ life, and even break through the boundaries of magic," Angel muttered to himself.

"Uh... what are you trying to do?" the demon stretched its neck.

Glancing at the small demon beside him, Angel said, "If only you were a demon, but unfortunately you’re just a demon. Maybe I should summon a real demon and have a chat with them."

"But the content behind is all lost."

"Even if it’s lost, I can guess what it is, it should be sothing like a summoning array. Actually, it’s just loudly ’shouting’ to get the demon’s attention. Do I need soone to teach how to ’shout’? I can just make one up. The key is whether they need to do sothing for them. They need it, then I have sothing to bargain with."

"It’s risky."

"Is there anything that isn’t risky?"

"Well... being honest and following the rules, there’s no risk."

"Then how did Krimasha get destroyed? Did no one in all of Krimasha follow the rules? There is always risk when one is weak." While speaking, Angel flipped open several dark magic books placed beside him, quickly copying down the spells.

...

At four o’clock in the afternoon, Angel "punctually" left the library.

When he arrived at the administrative building, the eting had already begun. Daniel was presiding over the eting.

He glanced at Angel from afar, and Angel glanced at him too, neither said anything.

Sitting in the back row, Angel silently contemplated.

Then ca five o’clock, the after-eting eting.

Angel silently sat, watching Daniel and Div argue, occasionally saying a few words to prevent the conflict between them from further escalating. The rest of the ti, he seed to be zoning out, thinking about sothing.

Mosharili sat right beside Angel, head lowered, making eting notes.

Ti passed by, mont by mont like this.

At night, at six-thirty, Angel returned ho to have dinner with his family.

After dinner, he silently placed the "salary" of two hundred silver coins on the table, then left.

"Actually, you’ve done very well, much better than a few months ago. No need to rush," on the way to the Magic Academy, the demon nagged at him: "The path you’re walking now is the essential path of a magic practitioner. And you’ve been much faster than others, I dare say you’re even faster than your brother Andrew. Considering your age, handling various trivial matters is also necessary, otherwise, you won’t have such powerful resources."

"But I feel a bit tired." Angel replied softly.

"Tired?"

"Tired, weary, bored. These things actually have no challenge, just repeated over and over. Not aningful at all."

"Um... that depends on what you an by ’aning’. As I just said... hey, wait for ! Wait for !"

...

Returning to the laboratory, Angel quickly took out a small booklet from his personal storage rack and began to look through it page by page.

"In one hour, you have to et Qili," said the demon beside him, "and then give her an answer, tell her if you want to go on an outing with her this weekend."

Angel suddenly looked up at the demon: "You’re a demon, aren’t you?"

"Uh... yes."

"I feel like I’ve been tempted by you."

"Huh?" The poor demon suddenly felt a massive cauldron flying towards itself: "No, Angel, I haven’t done anything, I swear."

"No, you have. Doing bad things and not admitting it, isn’t that the ’bad’ trait? That’s the trait of a demon. Because of your temptation, I can’t wait to embrace the demons now."

"But demons and devils are not the sa species, why would I want you to embrace demons? I don’t even recognize the ’Demon Lord’.

"At least they’re close kin, aren’t they?" Angel carefully examined by the light on the lamp shade, tilted his face, and began assessing the lab’s space again: "I need to move this experintal table to that side."

Angel struck a spell-casting pose and started chanting a spell. Soon, the experint table trembled slightly, yet never floated into the air.

"Too heavy?" the demon asked.

"No, it’s not too heavy. The table legs are locked. Why does this cursed place need a lock anyway?"

"Maybe to withstand the damage from certain dangerous experints, who knows?"

Opening the drawer, Angel swiftly packed the items needed for drawing the array into his shoulder bag.

Having packed everything, he put on the bag and silently looked at the demon.

The demon, squatting on the experint table, also helplessly looked at him: "I don’t recomnd going off to provoke those species far more powerful than you are, really."

"If not now, then when? Wait until I’m more powerful than them? By then, why would I still need them?" Saying this, Angel turned around, opened the door, and without looking back, ran towards that barren undeveloped area.
