"Gadada! Gwa!"

Suddenly, a goblin shouted sothing, and imdiately, all the goblins fell silent and turned to look at Jones and Dora.

Do you know that feeling? Tens of thousands of eyes all staring at you at once, and goblin eyes are absurdly big and terrifying... Jones’s scalp began to tingle, and he instinctively took a step back. Beside him, Dora was already scared stiff.

"What did they just say?" Jones asked wide-eyed.

"Gudagu! Gaga!" Before Gula could answer, another goblin shouted sothing, and then Jones saw an overwhelming tide of goblins rushing toward them. It was truly a tide! Like waves, layered and piling on top of each other, rolling toward Jones! The kind of scene that could give soone a heart attack!

"Run!" Jones scread suddenly, grabbing Dora and bolting backward!

But behind them was a rock wall, and there was no way they could outrun goblins by diving into a cave. So, Jones instantly transford into his bat form and dragged Dora upward at full speed. Dora quickly transford into bat form as well.

Amid the screams, the goblins crawled up the rock wall at lightning speed, forming a mountain of bodies, almost like a spike shooting up from the ground, lunging at the two bats in the sky. The top goblin leapt mid-air, reaching for Jones, who dodged frantically.

The goblin that missed Jones scread as it fell, followed by several others, also screaming as they plumted... And they fell for a good ten ters!

The other goblins still charged upward relentlessly, creating a shaky, mobile mountain that detached itself from the rock wall. An enormous crowd of goblins continued screaming, climbing on top of one another, launching themselves toward Jones and Dora, only to fall back down screaming.

What were they screaming?

Probably sothing like:

"Gaga-gaga-gaga!"

"Gwatagada!"

"Jijiji, gwata!"

"Bili-gwata-gagaga!"

In summary, it was incomprehensible.

And that was deeply unnerving.

Jones and Dora desperately dodged left and right, but being underground, they couldn’t fly high.

"What’s happening, Lord Jones!"

"I have no idea!"

Trapped among the goblins, Gula shouted at Jones: "Guests! Don’t be scared! They an no harm!"

"You’re telling not to be scared? This is what you call ’no harm’? Do you think I’m stupid?" Jones shouted back frantically.

Before he could say another word, Gula was already swallowed by the rolling "goblin tide," disappearing who knows where.

Great, all goblins look alike. There’s no way to tell where Gula went now.

Jones and Dora had no choice but to keep flying aimlessly in the underground space. But they could only flee mindlessly, because wherever they went, the goblins would find so way to keep up.

So goblins built body-mountains, others climbed the rock walls, and so even clung to the ceiling like spiders, screaming as they plumted toward Jones, only to end up splattering on the dense mass of goblins below with a loud "splat."

"How are they not dead from that? Do their lives cost nothing?" Jones scread while pulling Dora to escape.

Well, even if their lives did cost money, they’d only be worth three copper coins each. That’s dirt cheap. Who would’ve thought goblins were like this?

In the chaos, Jones darted into a tunnel and began a terrifying ga of underground hide-and-seek.

Everywhere were goblins—wild, crazy goblins! A huge swarm of goblins was chasing the two bats through the tunnel, shouting incomprehensible words.

Jones and Dora kept flying, and the goblins kept chasing. It was hard to believe that goblins, known for being weak, could have such insane stamina. They chased them for a full two hours, to the point where Jones and Dora were completely exhausted, yet the goblins were still in a frenzied state. Of course, it was possible they had swapped out with different groups, but Jones could no longer tell any of them apart.

Eventually, Jones and Dora were cornered in a tunnel.

The scene at the ti was roughly like this:

Goblin goblin goblin goblin

Goblin goblin goblin goblin

Goblin Dora Jones goblin

Goblin goblin goblin goblin

Goblin goblin goblin goblin

In short, the situation was extrely dire!

Jones widened his eyes, preparing to fight. Countless goblins, each wearing an eerie smile, started licking their teeth with long tongues, slowly closing in on them.

And they were drooling!

"Drooling? Are they planning to eat us?" Dora asked in terror, trembling uncontrollably.

Just as Jones was about to lose all hope, Gula suddenly erged from so unknown corner.

Don’t ask Jones how he recognized Gula—it was because Gula could speak Common. Also, Gula wore clothes, whereas the vast majority of goblins were practically naked.

Gula shouted sothing at the massive swarm of goblins, and instantly, all the goblins fell silent. Although, they still stared at Jones with their terrifyingly large eyes, wearing strange expressions.

Then, Gula turned to Jones and sighed helplessly: "Guest, you see, this is why I usually don’t bring outsiders down here."

"That’s not what you said earlier!" Jones roared furiously. "Earlier, you said bringing down was a privilege! And I even tipped you to get this so-called privilege!"

"Did I say that?"

"What do you think?"

"Uh... probably? Let’s not dwell on the past!" Gula spread his hands and grinned, revealing his teeth, a haphazard jumble that looked absolutely horrifying.
