The angel had beco the killer, and the demon was watching. A group of the undead fought desperately to protect human justice, at any cost.

They were considered one of the most evil beings in this world, but at this mont, they held the first beliefs, fighting in the direst of circumstances.

The onlookers watched quietly, tears streaming down their faces.

"No one will rember you. Ten years from now, no one in this world will rember you. Your traces will be completely erased. Only the victors can decide the course of this world. The losers will beco nothing but dust. Your efforts will be aningless!" Jeremy roared, still stepping forward.

"Even at the last mont, we remain knights of justice! That is the aning!" Gray once again mounted his horse, raising his sword high: "Silver Moon Knight Order, charge—!"

Hooves galloped, and dust flew.

Abod tightly gripped the hilt of his longsword at his waist, trembling slightly. He shut his eyes tight, not wanting to see or hear.

The other angels also averted their gazes.

Yilin covered her mouth.

The whole world watched silently, no one stepping in to save them.

The soul flas in the liches’ eye sockets sizzled, perhaps in anger.

Morca murmured under his breath: "Um... if this continues, it really will be a tragic ending. You’d better think clearly, I think you can intervene."

With a clang, Abod intercepted Jeremy’s sword as it slashed towards Gray. Yes, it was Abod.

With a flip, Jeremy stepped back, his six wings spreading, knocking away the Silver Moon Knights along with Gray and Abod who were charging around.

In an instant, the onlookers were all stunned.

"What are you doing?" Jeremy shouted.

"I’m sorry, but I don’t agree with the ways of the Holy Spirit. I have my own sense of justice. To live for my own justice, that’s the aning of my existence! It’s also the aning of my transformation into an angel!" Abod stood in front of the battered and barely standing Gray, holding his sword firmly.

"Abod..."

Turning slightly, Abod smiled at Gray: "An angel cannot lose to a lich in matters of justice."

"Thank you," Gray whispered.

"You don’t need to thank . I’m just doing what I want to do. Justice should not be allowed to continue to fall." Abod looked at Jeremy.

Jeremy was stunned, quickly looking over to his Angel Army.

Thankfully, only Abod had turned.

"You can’t help him, you’re not strong enough!" Jeremy roared.

"That’s not important, is it?" Abod smiled and replied, "If we can’t uphold justice in the process, what justice can we talk about in the end? I’m willing to die for the justice in my heart because that is glorious."

Jeremy was stunned.

...

A quantitative change was leading to a qualitative change. With Abod’s defection, more soldiers began to gather around Benedict II, and the armies of various nations started to lose control.

Levi was already as anxious as an ant on a hot pan: "What are you waiting for? Attack! All those who stand with the lich should die!"

However, not many were listening to him.

The vast majority of the troops chose to watch, so soldiers had abandoned their weapons and left, and so had directly defected. He actually had fewer troops at his disposal than Benedict II.

"Julian, I need to borrow your power."

"But our power, under normal circumstances, cannot be used on mortals."

"Do you want to watch the situation continue to deteriorate? Only a complete victory can save the situation now!"

Julian was silent.

After a while, he responded softly: "Alright, as you wish."

Four beams of holy light descended from the sky, shining on four Holy Knights.

Mounted, Levi and the other three Holy Knights charged towards Benedict II’s formation, followed closely by the troops still willing to obey his orders.

The two armies clashed heavily, with people and horses thrown about. The sounds of slaughter and screams shook the heavens.

...

From a distant hill, an old man in a black cloak, his face covered, quietly observed the battlefield.

...

"Silver Moon Knight Order, ready!" Gray once again mounted his horse, shouting: "Charge—!"

Only a dozen Silver Moon Knights remained, but this ti, charging with them were also Abod and Vivian.

The narrow street was already littered with the bodies of Silver Moon Knights.

Jeremy swung his sword again and again, cutting through everything in its path. Like a War God, no one could stop him. Not even Abod and Vivian.

On the battlefield outside the city, four Holy Knights rode back and forth under the shine of the Holy Light, unstoppable.

On Gray’s side, they seed to be losing on both fronts. However, no matter how dire the situation, there were always those who rushed forward fearlessly, stubbornly charging at the enemy, shouting and roaring, even if it was all in vain, they remained unwavering.

"I’m sorry, I can’t hold back any longer—!" The club-wielder picked up his axe and rushed in, followed by a large group of dwarves. Then ca Camilla.

Even Yilin joined the battle with her subordinates: "I’m sorry, but I can’t allow you to break our vow!"

More and more people joined the fray, the small street getting increasingly chaotic, leaving Jeremy overwheld. Even commoners stood on rooftops, throwing stones at Jeremy.
