When Xu Xinduo was putting on her seat belt, De Yu said, “You were in a hurry just now, so I didn’t have ti to say this, but Boss Mu contacted a while ago and wanted the address of Mrs. Mu’s current residence. After hearing this, Xu Xinduo first thanked De Yu, “Thank you for not telling him.”

Xu Xinduo was amused by De Yu and she laughed. Soon, many unpleasant things that were in her head were quickly forgotten.
In the end, Xu Xinduo actually saw father Mu because he simply ca to the school to find her. When the teacher called her to the office, she thought the matter concerned her academics, but her facial expressions sank when she saw father Mu.
Xu Xinduo was a little impatient after sitting down. She truly felt annoyed whenever she had to talk to him.
Father Mu’s attitude was quite good. He asked her with a smile if she was doing well recently, but she only answered vaguely.
After the teacher went out, father Mu revealed the true purpose of his visit, “Can you provide with so of your hair with follicles? Just a few strands would do.”
Xu Xinduo instantly guessed father Mu’s purpose in his coming, “Do you want to do a paternity test?”

“Didn’t you do one already?”

Father Mu smiled awkwardly and said, “Just help out, okay?”
Xu Xinduo was sitting on the sofa in the office, drawing circles with her fingers on the wooden armrests of the sofa. She lowered her eyelids and said with a smile, “Sure!”
Father Mu didn’t expect Xu Xinduo to agree so quickly and he couldn’t help but be overjoyed before he heard Xu Xinduo speak again, “However, can I make a condition?”
“What conditions?”
“I can provide you with all the things you need to do for the identification process and actively cooperate, but you just need to sign an agreent with .”
Father Mu couldn’t help but feel startled as he asked in surprise, “What agreent?”
“An agreent still needs to be drawn up. In short, I want written proof that I have no blood relationship with you and that we have nothing to do with each other. You must not pester or disturb my life in the future. In other words, we will be two strangers after this.”

Basically, her idea was to use this agreent to draw a clear line with father Mu, even though she didn’t know how to comnce the idea in legal terms.
But to her, this sort of favour was doable in exchange for the agreent.
She no longer wanted to have anything to do with the Mu family as she estimated that father Mu wanted to take a paternity test just to calm the public opinions or to stabilise the marriage contract with the Shen family.
