Mu Qingyao was not there.
She seed to perceive that Mu Qingyao had been acting like an invisible person recently, desperately wishing that no one in the class would notice her. Mu Qingyao and Mu Qingyi didn’t have any form of communication occur between them either.
After Xu Xinduo sat down, she took out the makeup remover wipes from her bag and chatted with the two of them while wiping her face, “Have you eaten?”
Mother Mu rubbed her hands and replied, “Not yet, we were waiting for you.”
Xu Xinduo already guessed vaguely when she saw the soup, but she couldn’t help but be surprised, “Didn’t I say that I would eat so pastries during my shoot?”
Mother Mu replied, “I still want to wait for you to have a formal dinner together; it’s rare for a family to get together, after all.”
After thinking about it, Xu Xinduo said, “Mm, okay, I’m going to remove my makeup first then. Where is the bathroom?”
Mother Mu imdiately pointed in a certain direction.
After Xu Xinduo ca out when she finished removing her makeup, she saw that the mother and son duo were arranging the table. She could tell that Mu Qingyi rarely did anything back at ho and to top it off, he was clumsy by nature. When she ca out, she happened to see him wiping the spilt vegetable soup on the table.
Not as good as Tong Yan; Tong Yan could make porridge at the very least.
Xu Xinduo walked over and grabbed Mu Qingyi’s wrist. She looked at his hand and saw that there were red marks on it, so she said, “Rinse it with cold water.”
“Oh…” Mu Qingyi also agreed and then turned to go to the bathroom.
They also all knew about Xu Xinduo’s eating habits. During the al, the three of them didn’t speak and finished the al quietly.
Xu Xinduo wanted to help clean up, but mother Mu quickly stopped her,”No need to clean up first, let’s chat… It’s getting late.”
Xu Xinduo stopped before she stood aside and said, “Mm, okay, I’ll stand for a while after dinner.”

Mother Mu was still very worried and asked, “Will going out for a part-ti job during the sumr vacation will affect your studies?”
“It doesn’t matter. In the early days, I was balancing both life and work inconsistently but my grades haven’t dropped either.”
Xu Xinduo was already used to it over the years. She would go to Tong Yan’s side for a few days and stay there for a few days, often studying intermittently.
This gave her an extraordinary self-learning ability— just read the book, go through the questions and understand it. If she really didn’t understand, she’d ask the teachers about it, but her grades have always remained excellent.
At this ti, mother Mu said, “After Mu Wenyan gives the compensation for the divorce, I will open a beauty salon by myself. I haven’t done anything else in these years and I have lost all my knowledge from university. I went to the beauty salon a lot, so at the very least, I know about a few things…”
