Although there were no spare toothbrushes in Tong Yan’s bathroom, she found a spare brush head for the electric toothbrush in the cabinet and replaced it with the current one. She didn’t mind it much as she was used to using Tong Yan’s toiletries anyway.

After washing her face and rinsing her mouth, she found her clothes were sitting in the corner of the bathroom. When she walked out after putting them on, Tong Yan was still sleeping.

Her school uniform was not here so she had to call Deyu to pick her up and drop by the apartnt before going to school. She didn’t know if she would be late for school.

Soone knocked on the door, while she was waiting for Deyu to arrive.

After hesitating for a mont, Xu Xinduo walked over to open the door and asked, “What’s the matter?”

“Madam has asked for the two of you to go downstairs for breakfast.”

“Okay.”

Xu Xinduo could only go and wake up Tong Yan. He got up with a yawn and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Xu Xinduo rushed in after him, “Rember to change the brush head…”

Tong Yan was squeezing toothpaste when he heard her. He turned to look at her and imdiately reacted by switching the brush heads.

Xu Xinduo noticed that Tong Yan was bare-chested when he was washing his face and rinsing his mouth so she quickly backed out.

The two of them went downstairs together. When they sat down for breakfast at the dining table, Xu Xinduo reached out for the vinegar bottle placed on the table and poured it into her Wonton soup.

On the other hand, Tong Yan kept listlessly stirring it with a spoon, feeling that it was still a little too hot.

Yin Hua walked over at that mont and sat opposite of the two of them.

Xu Xinduo imdiately sat upright and apologized to Yin Hua: “Auntie, I was drunk yesterday and lost my manners. I’m really sorry.”

Yin Hua said with a smile, “It’s okay, I didn’t bother .”

The two of them lowered their heads to start eating, when Yin Hua all of a sudden asked out of the blue: “Yanyan, you don’t seem to like vinegar and coriander with your soup today?”

Tong Yan who was eating silently raised his eyes to look at his mother.

Tong Yan did not like vinegar and coriander, but he knew they were Xu Xinduo’s favorite add-on for the soup.

The bowls of Wonton of Tong Yan and Xu Xinduo painted completely distinct styles.

Tong Yan could only reach out for the vinegar: “Oh, just haven’t had the ti to add it yet.”

Yin Hua said: “If you don’t like it, you don’t need to add it. There is no one forcing you.”

Xu Xinduo and Tong Yan quietened down at the sa ti and secretly looked at each other.

They both felt it. Yin Hua had most likely discovered their secret, but she didn’t say it clearly. She seed to be waiting for them to speak first.

On top of that, after all a girl suddenly ca to Tong Yan’s house and the two of them even stayed overnight in the sa room. As a mother, Yin Hua was indeed too calm for this situation.

Xu Xinduo looked at the Wonton soup in front of her and suddenly felt that this was specially arranged by Yin Hua. She wanted to find flaws in the small details of their tastes.

Xu Xinduo took a peek at Yin Hua again and saw that she was still smiling at her with a gentle smile, just like Yin Hua in her mory.

This was how a mother should look like.
