Mu Qingyao had recently joined the school’s cheerleading team. Recently, the popularity of cheerleading had increased across the country and even so competitions for it have started to be held. Even though they wanted to constantly practise for the competitions, they could only do it after classes as they had to maintain their grades and their student records.

Currently, Mu Qingyao and other mbers of the cheerleading team were rehearsing in the stadium.

There was a stereo sound system built into the stadium, which played the music pretty loudly. As they were rehearsing diligently, they did not notice that soone had entered the stadium and was watching them from the stands on the second floor.

On the second floor was a grandstand with a railing in front of it. It was common for students to co up here to hang out and look down at what was going on.

The location was just right.

Tong Yan had brought along so people with him.

He stood a little distance away from the railing, but was able to see the girls practicing below. After adjusting the laser pointer in his hand, he used his mobile phone to send a ssage to Su Wei: Turn the Power off.

Two seconds later, the entire stadium was plunged into darkness.

Currently, it was a little bit past 9 o’clock at night. After the power went out, the entire stadium fell into complete darkness, which caused the group of girls to scream and panic.

Tong Yan put on his night vision goggles, and spotted Mu Qingyao and aid the laser pointer at her.

Tong Yan was accompanied by a female mber of the Archery Club, who was also wearing night vision goggles. The girl had a bit of a tomboy look to her. When she discovered Mu Qingyao, she let out a sneer.

After seeing the target, the girl opened a jar, and pulled out a slightly hardened cotton arrow, which they prepared in advance. She then aid at Mu Qingyao and released the arrow.

The arrow was not sharp at all. If it was lethal, it would have caused a lot of trouble.

They used normal looking wooden sticks as the arrows. At one end of the sticks they wrapped it with cotton wool, while the body of the stick was firmly warped in cotton cloth. It would cause the arrow to be a bit slower and so of the shock to be absorbed. It would hurt a little when it hit soone’s body, but it would leave no permanent damage.

The jar contained liquid nitrogen.

As its na implied, liquid nitrogen was simply nitrogen in liquid state. It had a temperature of -196°C. If it ca into direct contact with the human body, it would only take a few seconds to damage it.

Many dermatologists use liquid nitrogen to treat lasma and warts. It would cause the superficial skin to beco necrotic and scab over. It would make it easy to remove any of the affected skin. It would allow for new skin to grow.

It wasn’t a problem to co into contact with the liquid nitrogen for a very short period of ti. However, the sa couldn’t be said if you happened to be exposed for an extended period of ti, it would lead to swelling and blisters.

The damage caused would recover after a long ti, but the dealing with the pain of recovery was tortuous. But luckily, the damage done by the liquid nitrogen would not leave any permanent scars or marks on the skin after recovery.

(T/N: We have verified everything said by the author, it is as the author stated. Liquid nitrogen causes a lot of pain like your skin is burning when you co into contact with it. It also doesn’t cause any permanent damage to skin during a short period of ti. People will usually recover in 2 or 3 weeks. However, it is a painful process.)

One of the girls started shouting: “Enough! I’m going to call the police!”

After hearing this, Tong Yan pointed the laser pointer at the girl. She imdiately got so scared that she dropped her mobile phone. Tong Yan was just bluffing but he aid back at Mu Qingyao again.
