As a child, Valentina had always been strange.

She hated being around people except for her adoptive parents and her sister.

She knew this was because of her half-demon blood, still, it wasn’t the most pleasant thing.

However, she didn’t understand what happened that day.

She was on the street waiting for her sister when a strange man walked past her.

He was ugly, that was certain.

But his blood.

She ran her tongue over her lips. "He slls delicious."

Valentina glanced left, then right. "If I follow him, it won’t be stalking, right?"

She wanted to know why his blood slled so enticing.

And soon, she found out.

He had the special blood her sister had been talking about.

And even when he discovered that she was a demon hybrid, he didn’t run away.

At that mont, she had only one thought:

"Such a kind soul."

That was why, right now, she gave her all to stabilizing his core.

’Why is this so difficult?’

His insides were a wreck, even she could tell.

His organs were twisted.

Even worse, he had no mana.

Not even a drop.

Yet, he was absorbing her divine power with such ease it felt like he was an endless abyss.

A second passed, then two.

The longer she persisted, the more his core seed to settle.

What stunned her so much her jaw nearly went slack was what was entering his body.

Mana.

"Is that even possible?"

It didn’t make sense for soone to use mana without awakening.

And she was more than certain he had never appeared during the Hunter Association registration.

That ant...

History. She was witnessing history being made...

Valentina’s expression suddenly twisted as she felt sothing drain her mana.

Argh.

She clenched her teeth but persisted.

At least until a blinding light erupted from Allen’s body, throwing her arms away from him.

She shielded her eyes as crackling sounds filled her ears.

’Lightning? Thunder?’

Was it his affinity?

But the color she saw was red.

Red lightning? Or perhaps thunder? Or was it sothing in between?

Valentina couldn’t be sure.

Her gaze sharpened as smoke billowed through the room.

The figure before her exhaled deeply.

From where she sat, it felt as though God himself had descended.

The man’s brown hair had transford into red that bordered on pinkish-red.

It now reached just past his shoulders, and it carried a strangely alluring scent.

His skin was fair and flawless — sothing no human should possess.

His glowing pinkish-red eyes slowly turned toward her as he asked, in the most intoxicating tone:

"What?"

Her face, already flushed, burned crimson.

"Huh? Huh?!!!"

---

I didn’t understand what had happened after I awoke.

The first thing I saw was Valentina’s gaze, and after she scread, she bolted from the bed and dashed out the door.

I wasn’t clueless enough to ask why she ran.

Quickly, I got to my feet, only to nearly collapse again.

My hand shot to the wall for support.

"I just wanted to steady myself... but how did I react so quickly?"

Hell, that was the least of my problems.

The world looked distant from my vision.

I was taller.

Much taller.

Taking slow steps, I moved to the mirror, only to freeze in place.

"This... is ?"

The reflection staring back was nothing like when I first entered this world.

Long, shoulder-length red hair that bordered on pinkish-red and blazing pinkish-red eyes.

A slender body with well-toned abs and chest.

Long lashes and a softly contoured face that looked almost unreal.

The only reason I didn’t believe I had gender-bent into the prettiest girl alive was because of the massive rod between my legs.

From just one look, I could already call myself a plastic baby doll.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if soone mistook for a girl — at least when my shirt was on.

I exhaled gently, and even the sound of it made my heart flutter, as though I was falling for myself.

"Damn, I’m pretty as hell."

I clenched my fist. "Yes! Baby!"

I turned away from the mirror and started dancing.

My new power-up was the least of my concerns.

I was handso. No — I was beautiful.

"Hahahahaha!"

It was finally ti to face-slap.

I wanted to rush out the door and flaunt my looks to that arrogant neighbor, but I had to restrain myself.

I had to hold it in...

I turned back to the mirror and grinned.

Even my grin was irresistible.

As if to amplify my joy, a chi rang in my head.

It was a sound that, even though I had never heard before, I recognized all too well.

"System-chan~!"
