Leo's face contorted as searing pain engulfed him.
Only sheer ntal strength could overco the trial.
Firina's eyes widened.
'No way...?'

The blazing flas were drawn into the golden egg.
Crack!
A fissure appeared on the egg's surface.
Firina's expression turned to disbelief.
"He succeeded?"

As the egg absorbed all the flas, Leo opened his eyes.
For a mont, his red eyes flashed crimson.

Exhausted, Leo collapsed, breathing heavily.
Sweat drenched his body.
But his face bore a clear smile.
"I succeeded in the contract."
"Hahaha!"
Firina burst into laughter.

Seeing Firina's genuine joy, Leo struggled to his feet.

As students' eyes widened, a massive blue bear erged from the brush.

Chen Xia hopped off its back.
"Professor, ti's not up yet, right?"

'Her uniform's torn all over. Looks like she had a fight.'
"You said you only knew taming in theory, yet you tad a young Aqua Bear, a mid-tier beast."

But Assistant Professor Carlo and the TAs were stunned.
"Well, well? Taming a Shadow Crow? Your main focus is spirit summoning, yet this is remarkable."
Yura exclaid, looking at Warrenden.
A Shadow Crow was a mid-tier beast like the Aqua Bear, but unlike Xia's young one, this was an adult.
Its tricky nature made its taming difficulty near high-tier.
'His beast summoning talent is top-notch too.'
"I didn't contract it."
"That's enough."
Taming a mid-tier beast already placed him among the top first-years across all departnts.
'Eliza will likely top beast summoning, though.'
As if eting that expectation, Eliza returned.

Xia waved, smiling, then tilted her head.
Taming often involved physical struggle.
Except for Eliza, every student's uniform was torn or dirtied.
But Leo's state was beyond comparison.
His uniform was scorched and tattered.

'A chick?'
A small red bird chirped proudly—peep peep—on Leo's white hair.

As Carlo grimaced, Yura, regaining composure, stared at Leo in shock.
