Auxiliary Chapter I: The World

[Disclair: This chapter is not a Jojo’s reference.]

Because I just can’t find a good place to toss in a description of the world in the story without ruining the flow, I’ll just put one here. Bear with .

The reality plane of LGH (this novel) is one massive island. If you’ve read my other novel, Ascension: Online, then it’s similar to Ascentia… except instead of 8 continents, there are 26 ‘Districts’.

For clarity’s sake, every District in this novel is just labeled from A-Z. Okay, that’s a lie, it’s just because I suck at coming up with nas. Don’t worry though, with all the context provided, it won’t be confusing which District is which. I guarantee that.

In the center of the island, where District A, B, C, and D et, the GHO (Ghost Hunter Organization) Headquarters lies. However, it is hidden from the public. In fact, it’s actually way high up in the sky, above the clouds, and enhanced with invisibility and radar detection-prevention. The Districts’ nas go in alphabetical order from there, spiraling in a clock-wise direction outwards to the edges of the island.

District A, B, C, and D are a bit special in terms of layout, however. Each of the four is their own mini-island, far away from one another. Together, they are connected via long bridges hovering over the ocean below, and said bridges form a square around the dead center of the big island (each of the four Districts being a vertex).

The other Districts are all interconnected normally via roads, and connect to Districts A, B, C, and D via similarly-designed bridges.

Overall, the Districts closest to the center of the island have urban cities, while the Districts furthest away have pure nature. The ruralization is gradual throughout.

As for the total land size of this novel’s world, the area of the island is roughly the entire surface area of Earth (oceans and all). The island is surrounded by water on all sides, and it’s the only landmass on the planet… or is it?

One more thing. ‘Eastern’ in this novel refers to Ancient Chinese/Japanese style. Although the terms Chinese/Japanese don’t exist here in this novel, the races still do, and they tend to live in the eastern districts on the island. Similarly, western refers to the western districts on the island, of course, but also ans Arican/UK style stuff.

All in all, just rember this: The different human races from Earth do exist in this world and live in separate geographical locations, but they aren’t distincted from one another using words like Asian or Arican. In addition, everyone speaks the sa language, English.

If you have any questions regarding the world of this novel, just leave a comnt and I will answer you to the best of my abilities without spoiling anything. That’s all, now go read the first chapter and get addicted to this story!

Oh, and the world’s na?

Ouroboros.
