After Xerxez left, the council imdiately erupted in chaos like a market den, wondering why Matar had made such a decision regarding the alliance Xerxez offered.

’Hmm, anyway...I am King Matar, but my real na, King Raveneoe Wilvuro. I am a tar of ravens, and I can talk to them. I am a Corvus user...I know, Xerxez was shocked, knowing that I am not an ordinary king.’

"Your Majesty, you angered Thallerion... what now, if Xerxez expels our countryn from Wendlock?" said one council mber, almost hoarse with shock. ’what an idiot, old man! If Thallerion will expel Ossibian there again... as a new king of Ossibuz... hmmm..hmm..hmmm!’

"Why don’t you ask Fhajo, the idea that Ossibus doesn’t ddle with other countries without Constellar protector, ca from him—" Matar retorted with a daring smile in his eyes. ’But in truth, I intended to test the king of Thallerion. Over seven years of benefiting the land of Wendlock...hmm, seven years are not enough, after what they did to my father.’

"We don’t need to plea for the land...we will fight for it!"

’At the open windows, the flocks of raven ca, entering in, and then, a group of people, appeared. Well, our bloodline was blessed by the Corvus entity. Each Ossibian can transform into a raven flock.’

"His decision was correct!"

Matar’s father arrived, with a patch over his left eye and smoke coming out of his mouth like a dragon. Even though he was old, his shoulders still moved arrogantly. ’My father right eye was blinded by the king of Thallerion back then.’

"You are brilliant, Matar!"

He sat at the table where Xerxez seat had emptied, occupied him. Rekindled the tobacco as it faded the ember. Ashes fell like a snowflake. ’I know, the responsible of blinding his eye was already deceased, but in the na of Thallerion, the wound will fresh forever. We are like raven, once you hurt them, they will never forget!’

"Father!" Fhajo said. "It’s not fair if you only praise him." Old Sapar—their father—just scowled. ’Haha, look at my stepbrother... begging for appreciation.

Fhajo was Sapar’s illegitimate son from his womanizing when he reigned in Ossibus. That’s why Fhajo had the audacity to speak ill of anyone, even Matar, who was a king of Ossibus. ’Hmph, I just let him do whatever he wanted to ... I don’t care about him.’

"I fought for Wendlock before, but this is all I got."

Sapar said and removed the patch from his blind eye. ’His blunted corneal peek in, a milky ball, moving with grim, everyone was disgusted silently.

"This is the proof that they are an untrustworthy race!!!"

"His grandfather, his na etched on my head, never been faded... the na ... Zerceux Herzthroven!"

’Zerceux Herzthroven, that na hated my father, even when I was young, he repeatedly murmuring that na.’

"My son, promise ...offer the eye of that Xerxez to ."

A grim smile followed on his face. "Don’t worry Father. I promise!"

After the alliance in Ossibus failed, Xerxez traveled to the country of Peronica.

Well, they say...they are willing to be part of the alliance....it’s an honor to form an alliance with the Peronican... knowing that they were famous country back then... because of the entities they possessed... Speaking of entity ...I wonder ...hmmm...what Constellar entity they have possessed?

He was accompanied by Thallerion soldiers in elegant bronze armor that glimred like golden fish, radiating with novelty.

They valorously rode horses out of the Thallerion border, then boarded a tank-train whose echoes throughout Peronica’s border.

ZIGGG-ZAGGGG!

We seat in a special part of the train, or they called it...First class. Well, there is no special about it... The only different things here was ... the colors ...the ambiance...and even the luxury...but, all we ask is the safety for travel.

"King Xerxez, Why your face was so quiet?" The man who sat next to him asked.

Well... I was thinking about the alliance, while peeking through the window. And Matheros who sat next to ...maybe, he noticed my silence.

Sigh.

"Don’t feel sorry about the failed alliance in Ossibus...Hmph, they really can’t understand the value of Alliance, because they really think, Constellar Entity, was enough. They really don’t care about the alliances anymore!"

I understand him...but—

"I was thinking about the Peronica...do you think they are really willing to be part of the alliance even if they have powerful entities?"

"Hahahha...why are you so serious about entity ehh? You know... Entities were useless if without the vessel." He comfortably lean on the train-chair made of red soft cotton. Then, smile at him. "If I were you ... Just focus on the thing... you might think... reality... rather than thinking about the nonexistent beings. Most of them were irresponsible!"

His analogy about Orion and the Peronican’s Entity... I think ...there is a different?

" Hahhhhhh...I was just preparing myself... You know... Making alliance , should learn things first about them, right?"

"Ohh, that’s a smart move... You are willing to understand their situation, even though...you haven’t et them yet... well...it is a good way to have a background knowledge. But here’s the good news....I heard ...the maidens in Peronica were so dazzling like a graceful crane. They are beautiful!"

"Hahahha!"

Though, it was not so funny...but the way he change the topic. His eyes gleaming with unseen fantasy.

"Don’t you believe at ? Well...look from a far...their beauty are like those things...so srizing!"

There, the red canopy forests reflected from afar, and yellowish-green trees embellished the Peronican atmosphere, alongside the squeaking of earthly-phoenix birds soaring above the clouds. Those birds have magnificent plumage, crescent moonlit yet glaring like a rose petal, a dosticated bird, found only in Peronica.

"King Xerxez, I heard, the queen in Peronica has a daughter." Elbowing Xerxez in a tickled way. " Go and marry her ... I’m sure she is beautiful too."

"What!?"

’He is acting like a bad guy who push into a reckless move. Haha, why would I do that...if I have never been t her once?—And I don’t know if that is so simple?’

"Hahaha, C’mon... You are at the right age... marrying a princess will build a strong alliance."

"But...that was too rush!"

"Listen carefully....According to one historical account, the Phoenix bird once appeared, they believed, it transford into a human and married mortal won...And that’s why... phoenix clan began...many of the Peronican were blooded phoenix. Can you imagine this...once you marry the princess...your child will be a blooded phoenix too!"

"Really?"

’That an... Peronican’s entity was Phoenix...a mythical creature that possess fire and rebirth.’

"How did you so sure about that?"

"Hahah, my father Alexunther told that... Peronica were forr Emissary of Cypriox...but I don’t know... Maybe ... It was fact or just a...you know...rumors."

"Emissary?"

’I heard it once in Father Gonzer, the bishop of Thallerion, and also in the Bellatrix guild...that Cypriox have angels... That ans... Peronica is one of the Angels?’

"King of Thallerion...co with us."

A colored ember armor approached the Thallerion. The Soldier’s hair was red and clean cut, even though they were soldiers their skin was smooth and clean. Their eye brows was dark brown, but other were pure black.

’As we board in the border line of Peronica...The Peronican soldiers et us and accompanying us... then, by a stream... there are won frolicked like swans, captivating to behold.’

In truth, when the young Peronican maidens heard that the King of Thallerion was visiting, they imdiately waited for Xerxez by the stream to draw attention to their beauty, hoping that at least one of them might be chosen by the young king.

"Hey ladies..." Matheros waved at them.

’There are maidens has a beautiful hair...and with wings? Like...like a colorful parrot? Their hair was red, so are pale rose, or orange hair...but... overall...they are all beautiful.’

"Dear King Xerxez, are we beautiful in your eyes?"

’I saw so ladies landed, coming, and standing along the pathway.’

"Step back ladies. Give respect to the king of Thallerion." The Peronican soldier leader, ordered.

"Handso king, please notice us." The young won wanted to entice the King of Thallerion, but Xerxez only smiled as his horse moved forward.

"Haha...just ignore them...the lady who are ant for you is in the palace of Peronica.... I’m sure you will et the princess of Peronica." Matheros said.

’Heehee, Matheros really assu that the princess of Peronica will like too, like those maidens on the stream. But...wait a minute...who is that maiden at the back?

As he noticed a captivating maiden at the back. ’She has a beautiful smile...what is this feeling? I think.... I love at first sight?

A goddess, uniquely beautiful among all the won there, suddenly caught his eye. Xerxez couldn’t take his gaze off this woman with long, vibrant red hair, even more vivid than the others. Her movents were graceful, and she smiled at Xerxez but, he was interrupted.

"Why do you stop, king Xerxez?" Matheros pondered.

’where is she now? Am I hallucinating?’

"Have you seen a maiden there at the back of the ladies?" The maiden was disappeared as he looked back again.

"Huh? Who?"

"She has a red hair...and she’s gone when I look back."

"Hahahha...red hair? Look, Xerxez...many of them were red hair."

"I an she has no wings."

" Yeah I heard there are clan here has no wings but all of them were like a beautiful angels."

"Which clan do you think has no wings?"

"I don’t know either"

That was Xerxez’s first glance, the one that made his heart pound. His heart felt different; he sensed a volcano erupting deep within.
