The faces of the 4 ladies were a mix of different expressions and complex feelings. There were traces of defeat, anger, loss, terror, fear, pain, torture, and many more.

Still, being the old fox that he was, he didn't show any of his thoughts, fear, or feelings on his expression as he said in a calm voice without turning around,

Looking at his composure, and hearing his words, one would think that Patriarch Cao had everything under control.
