The mont that the S-Day descended, even before the trials, Eric had already sent Cui Xie a ssage with everything he should do.
Well, to be honest, there were only two big words in the ssage that Eric had sent Cui Xie, and they were, steal and run!
It didn't matter whether he stole in the open or in the dark, he only needed to steal however much he could.
Upon receiving the news Cui Xie imdiately started his own preparations as he imdiately sent a few ssages of his own.
Among them, the most important ones were towards the Cui Family and the Auction House. The ssage contained in them was quite an outrage, as those guys imdiately went into an uproar.
Most importantly the Cui Family! All the Elders of the Family started moving in the open and in the dark to procure as many rare resources and materials as they could.
After all, whoever managed to pull that off would have a great chance and opportunity to beco the Cui Family's new head and direction.
The current Cui Family Head was in deep trouble due to his own son, so everyone felt like they had a chance to make their break with this opportunity.
The next day, a big conference was held in the Cui Family's Ancestral Mansion, with all the Elders glaring at each other cautiously.
Everyone knew why they were there, and even though there was no sign of Cui Xie showing up none of them dared to leave the place.
At that mont, a servant ca forward and brought a laptop and connected through an application, as Cui Xie's figure appeared live.
"Greetings Esteed Elders of my Cui Family! I don't think I need to introduce myself, or the reason why I have gathered you there, so we can start this thing im…"
"Wait! Cui Xie who do you think you are!? You not only call for this stupid auction when you have a moral duty to handle all the formulae and recipes for the Family free of charge, but you don't even co here in person!
You shaless little bastard! Co here imdiately I will teach you a lesson instead of your missing parents!
You ungrateful little bastard!"
Not allowing Cui Xie to finish his word, one of the old people in the crowd jumped out and started cussing and chiding at him while demanding for Cui Xie to hand over everything for free!
"Haiz~! I knew sothing like this would happen, and for that reason, I am doing all this throughout the live connection, but to think that so people are just too stupid to understand!
Esteed Elders this is the first and last chance I am willing to give you! Either behave or forget it!
Cui Family isn't the only giant that is willing to 'pay' a lot for these formulae! I think I am already doing a lot for the family by giving you a chance to buy them first!"
On the other hand, Cui Xie treated that old man as nothing and he just sent a warning to the whole of the Cui Family with a cold, calm, and detached voice.
"Yo…"
"Shut the hell up for ! Are you trying to ruin my Cui Family!? Enough is enough!"
Just as the old man who had stood up for everyone was about to talk back in the indignation of soone who was defending the right and necessary, Master Cui intercepted in anger.
The old man who had just caused the ruckus was under his payroll, and it was him who had set him, but there were two reasons why this guy had beco useless.
First, it was because Cui Xie seed extrely serious and decided on what he said. If this guy continued he would really cut the connection and sell those formulae to soone else.
That was sothing that he didn't want to see it happen! The Cui Family would suffer greatly if that happened.
Secondly, it was because Cui Xie wasn't present personally, and there was no trace of him despite his and his people's great efforts to find him.
If Cui Xie were participating personally, then he could threaten him with his personal security and life, even though it was a shaless act, it didn't really matter to him.
Right now the only connection they had with Cui Xie was this internet connection, should he decide to sell this to soone else, there was nothing he and the Cui Family would be able to do.
He regretted and cursed his stupid confidence of being able to track Cui Xie wherever he went, as he had disappeared under his nose.
Right now, he had to make sure that he ended up as the winner of this auction, and got the formulae in his hands, no matter what.
The old man felt extrely unwilling and displeased with the situation, but there was nothing he could do at the mont, he could only suck it up.
Cui Xie had already shown ti and ti again that he wasn't easy to deceive, and that he didn't care about the 'upright' values of soone from the Cui Family.
"Well, now that this is taken care of, let us continue with the auction's process! Each of you has to send a text ssage to the number that will appear on the screen.
Each ssage needs to contain your price for each of the formulae, one by one, and in total! The criteria for selection are the first best for the formula and then the total!
The winners will be contacted through ssages 1 hour after the text ssage with the offer and will be notified on the way of the transaction!
Let the richest person win!"
With that said, the live connection was imdiately interrupted, and the screen went dark. The gathered crowd could only watch dumbfounded at each other before they stood up and dispersed.
After all, each and every one of the people gathered was an expert in its own right, and not to ntion their ans. If they stood there, there was a high chance of their offer being found out.
If that happened, then it ant that their chances of getting the formulae in their hands would diminish greatly.
Furthermore, if they were the winner, and it was discovered from the rest, then it would be extrely difficult to bring the formulae to the Family.
It was only logical that the acquisition was finished the mont that those formulae and recipes reached their hands.
In less than a minute the grounds were empty once again, as each and every one of the Cui Family Elders interested in their purchase sent their offers.
Cui Xie almost had a stroke upon looking at the offers, as he didn't expect those stingy and selfish old things to be ready to pay this much.
Still, he quickly selected the winners and continued with the procedures. Just like he had agreed with Eric, he only selected the best offers.
The winners were in fact three different people, which frankly surprised him a bit, but he didn't really care about that.
His only worry at the mont was the safe acquisition of the offered prices…
