6: Do You Have Brain Problems?

"Miss Bai Ling's appetite is truly terrifying." After dinner ended and the Bai sisters had left, Xue'er looked at the nearly cleaned-out dishes and murmured to herself.

"Just call her a rice bucket, don't save her face." Leticia snorted. "What a curse, encountering this nesis."

"Miss Bai Ling is Stellar Sword Saint?" At this mont, Xue'er finally found the opportunity to ask.

She had been speculating before, and Leticia's behavior had indeed made her basically certain of Bai Ling's identity, but speculation was just speculation—it wasn't as reliable as Leticia's personal confirmation.

"Yes, Stellar Sword Saint." Leticia nodded. This wasn't sothing worth hiding from Xue'er.

She had brought Xue'er along when she ran away, which showed that in her heart, Xue'er was soone trustworthy, right?

"Should we move away?" Xue'er asked worriedly.

The relationship between Stellar Sword Saint and Her Majesty was one of life and death. In the first few years after Her Majesty was defeated by the Sword Saint, she would use needles to poke at a doll labeled "Stellar Sword Saint" every day.

In Her Majesty's own words, this was called "casting a curse."

Although to Xue'er this seed like impotent rage, it also showed from the side how much Leticia deeply hated Bai Ling.

But now, regarding the suggestion to move, Leticia shook her head. "No, the most dangerous place is the safest place. If I leave here, I might get caught up to and killed with one sword by this guy."

But continuing to live here, Bai Ya was equivalent to her get-out-of-death-free card. Bai Ling couldn't possibly kill her in front of her own sister, right?

From the brief contact just now, Leticia could see that Bai Ling was a hopeless sister complex. Make her hurt her sister's heart?

Impossible.

As long as she held onto Bai Ya's thigh, Leticia was confident she had no fear for her life.

"Sigh, playing all day has been sowhat tiring. Xue'er, help run so hot water, I want to take a bath."

"Yes."

...

Standing in the steamy bathroom, Bai Ling fell into contemplation. She was thinking about a problem: how to take a bath.

All this ti, she had used her superpowers to clean her body. In the almost non-stop battles, bathing with water was undoubtedly an extrely luxurious enjoynt.

And now, she had retired.

In her old friend's words, "You can live as an ordinary person, not as humanity's hero. Superpowers aren't everything in your life—go enjoy your life."

Enjoy? She didn't understand how she was supposed to enjoy.

Money—she didn't lack it. As humanity's strongest fighting force, her monthly salary was a terrifying number... or rather, money was just a number to her.

As long as she wanted, one phone call could buy luxury cars and mansions that ordinary families wouldn't dare dream of.

But it was aningless.

Standing foolishly in front of the mirror, Bai Ling looked at the perfect body in the reflection, her heart without a ripple.

Before her sister pushed her in here, she hadn't told her how to take a bath. Going out to ask now would feel sowhat embarrassing.

A sister asking her younger sister how to take a bath—wouldn't that be a very strange thing?

Moreover, Bai Ling didn't want her image in her sister's heart to beco that of a social waste who didn't understand anything, so she couldn't ask Bai Ya.

So what should she do?

Bai Ling's gaze moved to the floor. If she rembered correctly, Leticia's ho had almost exactly the sa layout as hers. Under her feet was Leticia's bathroom.

Leticia seed very adapted to life in the human world. If it weren't for that faint trace of demonic aura on her, perhaps Bai Ling would really doubt whether Leticia was actually human.

Since she was so adapted to life in the human world, Leticia probably knew how to take a bath, right?

Bai Ling could sense that Leticia was right beneath her feet. Perhaps she could go ask her.

Short-distance teleportation was sothing Bai Ling could do effortlessly. Her toes lightly touched the ground, a flash of white light passed, and she disappeared from her original spot.

A luxurious bathroom completely different from her own simple bathroom appeared in Bai Ling's vision. She looked around and quickly found Leticia, who was soaking in the bathtub with a dumbfounded expression.

A yellow rubber duck floated on the light green hot water that was steaming with white vapor. The black-haired girl's beautiful long hair was tied into two large buns, giving her a unique charm.

A stream of dark red slowly flowed from the girl's delicate nose, causing so confusion in Bai Ling's heart.

Was the Demon King injured?

"Are you injured?" Walking to Leticia's front, Bai Ling's tone carried confusion.

"Injured? No such thing..." Leticia imdiately shook her head. With her movent, the blood flowing from her nose was flung into the water.

Only then did Leticia realize she had embarrassingly gotten a nosebleed.

Quickly blocking her nose, Leticia turned her head away sowhat shafully and angrily. "What are you here for?"

Running naked into her bathroom—are you, a Sword Saint, brain-damaged?
