50: Go Back

"Su Qi... isn't leaving." Slowly putting down her phone, Bai Ling felt speechless.

She was sitting here making awkward conversation with Leticia just to wait for Su Qi to leave so she could go ho, but sohow, Bai Ya called to say that Su Qi would be staying at their house tonight.

What was she supposed to do now?

"At this ti, it really isn't suitable for an ordinary girl to go out alone." Leticia could understand Bai Ya's choice. The fact that Su Qi was a demon should only be known to Bai Ling and herself, so in Bai Ya's eyes, Su Qi was just an ordinary female classmate.

A very cute ordinary high school girl walking alone on empty dark streets—just thinking about it felt very dangerous.

With Bai Ya's warm heart, she definitely wouldn't let Su Qi go back alone.

"If she's not leaving, how am I supposed to go back?" It wasn't that Bai Ling didn't want Su Qi staying at her house. For her, whether Su Qi stayed at her house or not wasn't sothing worth caring about.

She believed Su Qi wouldn't dare cause trouble, and even if Su Qi wanted to cause trouble, Bai Ling was confident she could suppress the restless Su Qi.

As for Leticia's side, Bai Ling had already figured out this Demon King girl. As long as she didn't make any big commotion here (aning demolishing buildings or above), Leticia couldn't be bothered to care what she was doing.

So the only problem now was that she needed to change into decent clothes to go back.

"Do you have clothes I can wear?" Bai Ling asked. The clothes she bought earlier wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow, so she could still only wear those few old clothes.

She couldn't go back wearing this outfit with a big hole torn in a crucial spot, so she could only borrow clothes from Leticia.

"Open your eyes and take a good look—my clothes won't fit you at all." Leticia rolled her eyes. The clothes she wore were a size smaller than Bai Ling's and absolutely couldn't fit on Bai Ling's body.

However, hers wouldn't work, but she wasn't the only one living in this house.

Xue'er's figure was similar to Bai Ling's, both belonging to the more standard young girl figure. If Bai Ling wore Xue'er's clothes, it might work.

"Xue'er should have so. Ask to borrow one from her when she gets back." Leticia said to Bai Ling.

Although they lived under the sa roof and had a master-servant relationship, when getting along, Leticia never treated Xue'er as her accessory.

Xue'er was a living person and also the existence Leticia trusted most.

"Borrow what?" Just as Leticia finished speaking, Xue'er climbed in through the window.

"You're a bit slow, Xue'er."

"I threw that little one a bit far to prevent her from being picked up." Xue'er explained why she returned so late, then turned the topic back. "Does Your Majesty need sothing?"

"It's not who needs sothing, it's her." Leticia pointed at Bai Ling beside her, who was covering her chest with both hands. "She's thin-skinned and wants to borrow so clothes to wear."

I see. Xue'er understood. She indeed had quite a few clothes in her wardrobe, but most were Leticia's clothes. Only a small portion were clothes she, Xue'er, wore.

And those clothes were all maid outfits.

"Most of my clothes are maid outfits, the sa style as what I'm wearing." Xue'er took off the black robe she was wearing and pointed to the maid outfit on her body that was identical to those in ani. "If Miss Bai is willing to wear it, I'll get it for you right away."

Looking at the rather revealing maid outfit Xue'er was wearing, Bai Ling's expression was very conflicted.

Her nearly nonexistent common sense told her that regular maids probably wouldn't dress like this.

Look at how form-fitting this top was, look at this shockingly short skirt length—this couldn't even be called clothing anymore. Calling it adult goods would probably be more accurate.

"It seems Miss Bai isn't very willing to wear it." Bai Ling's reaction undoubtedly put her choice on the table. Xue'er sighed, indicating she was helpless.

"Don't you have anything slightly more conservative?" Bai Ling blinked and asked quietly.

She felt that wearing Xue'er's kind of clothes ho would be no different from wearing her current outfit ho—both were at the level of social death in front of her sister.

The only difference was that one would make her sister wonder what she had been doing, while the other would make her sister exclaim that she had such hobbies.

"I do have an idea." At this mont, Leticia spoke up. "You just need to be able to get back to your room, right?"

"Yes, but I can't use teleportation now—Su Qi would notice." Bai Ling nodded. This was why she had been staying here. Otherwise, she would have teleported upstairs long ago.

Using teleportation would be equivalent to announcing her identity as a high-level ability user to the world. As long as Su Qi wasn't an idiot, she would definitely include Bai Ling's area in the most vigilant zones.

Bai Ling didn't want her sister to be targeted by sothing strange.

"As long as Little Ya and Su Qi can't see this tattered outfit you're wearing and you can get back to your room... why don't you just go back wearing the black robe Xue'er has on?" Leticia pointed to the black robe Xue'er was wearing.

After eting Su Qi, Bai Ling had also left her combat outfit at Leticia's place. In her words, Leticia's place was safer.

Her own place might be searched by her sister's friend, but basically no one ca to Leticia's place, making it safer and more reliable.

Bai Ling thought for a while and finally nodded. "Alright."

Only that night's criminal and those three juniors had seen this black robe. Obviously, Su Qi wasn't any of those four people.

She should be fine passing by in this black outfit.

Seeing Bai Ling nod, Xue'er imdiately handed the robe she had just taken off to Bai Ling.

Bai Ling put on the robe and asked Leticia: "How is it?"

"Good, looks fine." Leticia nodded. What problems could there be? These were originally clothes prepared for Bai Ling—what could go wrong?

"Then I'm going back." Getting Leticia's approval, Bai Ling didn't think much more. "You two get so rest early."

"Safe travels, won't see you off." Leticia indicated she should hurry up and scram.

Xue'er cast an apologetic look at Bai Ling. Her Majesty was still characteristically sharp-tongued as always.

Bai Ling didn't mind Leticia's words. After all, it would be strange if Leticia's attitude improved one day. She was already used to this kind of attitude from Leticia.

They could keep pulling each other's leg—they were both unemployed vagrants anyway, so they had plenty of ti to ss around.
