"What is that?" The white-haired girl stared blankly at the deadly battle in the distance, the shock in her heart impossible to express in words.

Both of those people's strength far exceeded hers. If she stood opposite them, lasting even a hundred moves would be extraordinary performance.

Gentle footsteps ca from not far away. The white-haired girl turned to look and discovered a black-haired girl had appeared behind her at so point.

Moreover, this girl looked almost identical to the girl currently fighting in the distance.

"You are?" The girl already had a guess in her heart—this one was perhaps the god who had brought her here.

"The one fighting over there is the first Demon King of the demon race." The girl didn't answer the girl's question but spoke to herself as if no one else was present. "She is the bravest, strongest mortal I have ever seen."

The distant battle seed to have a fast-forward button pressed—the figures of the two combatants could no longer be seen clearly.

"The process isn't worth watching. Let's just look at the result." The girl lightly touched the air with her finger. "Though my kinsman had just broken free from her seal then and her strength hadn't recovered to its peak, being able to borrow my power to defeat a true god, she is worthy of the title Demon King."

In the distance, day and night had changed three tis. This battle from ancient tis was finally approaching its end.

Both combatants had completely lost the elegance they'd had at the battle's start. They both bore many wounds, and that girl even had dried blood traces at the corner of her mouth.

"You're going to lose. As a mortal, being able to contend with for so long, you're quite remarkable." The god had long since put away her arrogance. Though the opponent had borrowed her kinsman's power, she had indeed fought herself for three days and nights with a mortal body.

Unfortunately, the chasm between god and human was ultimately difficult to cross.

A god's power was inexhaustible, while humans always had limits. Three days and nights of battle had drained all the magic power from the girl's body. The god was confident she would soon achieve victory.

The girl's steps were already sowhat unsteady. Her forehead had long been soaked with sweat, and her face showed an eerie flush.

She covered her mouth and coughed a few tis, her voice clearly weak: "It's not over yet. I'm still standing here. Isn't it too early to declare victory?"

The god laughed disdainfully. What waves could this girl, whose oil was burned and lamp extinguished, still stir up?

Even if she stood there and let the girl attack, the completely drained girl couldn't break through her defenses.

"Heh, I hope your body can be as tough as your mouth." The god stepped closer to the girl, raising her hand without a trace of rcy, about to bring down divine punishnt on the girl who dared challenge a god.

"You don't seem worried." In the distance, the god girl standing beside Bai Ling said flatly.

Worried? Of course Bai Ling wasn't worried. She already knew the result of this battle. At the final mont, that girl who resembled Leticia would definitely use so trump card to turn the tide and defeat the god.

The only suspense was what thod she would use to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

"If that god had won this battle, I wouldn't have been able to et the current Leticia, right?"

"Pff, that's true. After knowing the result, no matter how dangerous the current situation seems, there's still a foundation in your heart." The god girl giggled. "There isn't much ti left anyway. Keep watching—see how she defeated this kinsman of mine."

In the distance, the sword in the girl's hand had been knocked away by the god. It looked like she had completely lost the ability to turn things around.

The god thought so too, so she didn't give the girl a clean death, but instead reached out to grab the girl's throat, planning to make the girl's death sowhat more painful.

"Heh, re mortal, presuming to challenge divine authority. Letting you die so easily really leaves sowhat unsatisfied." While exerting force, the god spoke.

But the girl lifted in mid-air showed a strange smile. She grabbed the god's arm that was choking her throat and squeezed out a sound from between her teeth: "I won."

Three days and nights of battle—this was the mont she had been waiting for.

Believing herself victorious, the god had completely lowered her guard, allowing the girl's ultimate technique to be deployed.

"What?" The god was startled. The girl's strange behavior gave her an ominous premonition.

But she was already too late to react. Golden chains broke through the girl's skin, surging from within the girl's body and binding the god tightly.

Only then did the god realize that throughout the past three days and nights, the girl had never used her kinsman's true power.

"Damn it, you treacherous villain!" The god, bound like a dumpling, shouted loudly.

Her voice was extrely shrill, making even the girl frown. For the sake of her ears, she decisively tore off one of her sleeves and stuffed it in the god's mouth.

At this mont, the girl was bathed in blood. Bright red blood flowed continuously like a stream from the wounds caused by those chains, dyeing the earth beneath her feet blood red.

Slowly walking to retrieve her black longsword from nearby, the girl didn't make the sa mistake as the god. She rcilessly raised her longsword and struck toward the god's neck.

This sword was very weak—the girl was at the end of her strength. Even just a gust of wind could blow her down.

But the god's eyes widened. If hit by this, she would definitely die.

She didn't want to die.

To survive, there was only one thod: slinking back into the sealing space. Only this way could she preserve her life.

The blade struck the black short staff, producing a harsh collision sound.

"What a pity." The girl sighed wistfully.

The scene froze there.

"Those golden chains—what were they?" Having watched the entire battle, Bai Ling developed intense interest in those final golden chains. Sothing that could control a god, even make a god surrender, was obviously very important.

Without those final golden chains, Leticia's ancestor would definitely have died at the god's hands. It could be said those chains were the MVP of this battle.

"That is my dwelling place." The god girl extended her hand, and golden chains like living creatures erged from her palm. "But at that ti, she implanted into her body for that final attack."

"What?" Bai Ling's eyes widened. Implant a divine artifact into one's own body?!

This was too incredible.
