Surrounded by enemies and severely injured by a sneak attack from soone she trusted, the woman's current state couldn't be called desperate—it could be called certain death.

After the successful sneak attack, Mo Ziling quickly unlocked the shackles on her feet and ran out of the room in a flash.

One sneak attack was already her limit. Her combat power couldn't rank highly in direct confrontation—this stage should be left to her master and that white-haired girl.

Due to the room being too small, Leticia didn't plan to have too many people co in to help. Just her and Bai Ling were enough to deal with this woman.

Too many people would make Leticia and Bai Ling cautious and unable to go all out.

"All of you back away. I might not be able to look after you once fighting starts." Leticia threw out a sentence without turning back, then without waiting for the people behind her to react, cast magic at that woman.

At the sa ti Leticia moved, Bai Ling also drew her sword. Instantly, all light in the room seed to gather on the sword she drew.

A dazzling sword light seed to split space-ti itself, striking the woman before she could react.

"Such strong defense." Bai Ling looked at the woman who was coughing blood and flying backward, frowning.

Already injured from Mo Ziling's sneak attack, now having taken her ultimate move solidly, yet she actually didn't die. Not only didn't she die, even her clothes weren't torn—what was the logic here?

Bai Ling's sword light could break through divine defenses and slice through Leticia's magic-enhanced magic sword in one strike.

The woman was sent flying out the window by Bai Ling's sword light. Leticia's magic followed imdiately after, attacking the woman in mid-air.

After a dazzling magic performance, the woman fell to the ground in extre disarray. If any other person in the world had been hit by such moves from these two, they definitely wouldn't have survived.

But this woman—she was still alive.

"You did well." Not only alive, she also controlled her almost completely shattered body to stand up. "But to stop , what you've done is far from enough."

"Are you that god?" Leticia, who had pursued her outside, imdiately noticed the change in the person before her.

"You have a disgusting sll about you, but I must admit, you are perfect." The god controlling the woman's body didn't answer, but tilted its head and spoke to Leticia.

It thrust the short staff into its own chest. Black misty tentacles burst from within the woman's body, and an uncomfortable aura spread throughout the entire space.

"Leticia!" Bai Ling cried out in alarm. She discovered Leticia's form was continuously becoming translucent, giving her an extrely ominous premonition.

"What?!" Leticia looked back—those black mists had sohow entangled her. "What the hell is this?!"

"Though her qualifications aren't outstanding, sacrificing her is still enough to let forcibly drag one person into my divine domain." The god laughed loudly. "I admit, you two together can give slight trouble, but with just you alone, to you're rely a little bug I can crush at will."

"Calling a little bug is rather hurtful." Leticia sighed. In her perspective, Bai Ling's figure was becoming fainter and fainter, and the girl's anxious calls were becoming more and more blurred.

Soon, she would be dragged into this god's divine domain.

"You surnad Bai, go find Sasha. Divine Throne knows the most about divine matters. I'll wait for you in the divine domain."

"You think you can wait that long?" the god asked disdainfully.

Her vision completely shrouded by black mist, accompanied by a nauseating sense of turbulence, Leticia knew she had now entered the divine domain.

"About you all, I know quite a bit." Finding herself already in the divine domain, Leticia didn't panic but summoned the parasol Flora had given her and sat down directly in place.

"You..." Leticia's reaction caused a slight change in the god's ntality.

"Don't think I don't know—your hands can't reach outside that place confining you. I guess you plan to use so thod to trick into that place, then kill ." Leticia indicated she wouldn't fall for it. "That way, you could use my body to break the seal and descend in your true form, right?"

"You bastard." The god's tone carried a trace of anger. "You really think I have no way to deal with you?"

"If you have a way, co on then. You're still here talking big, doesn't that prove you lack the strength?" Leticia said disdainfully. "Dragging in here is useless—soone will co rescue soon."

Hearing Leticia's words, the god suddenly laughed. "Co in? What joke are you making? Without my permission, no one can enter my divine domain!"

Indeed, Leticia had seen several gods, but entering divine domains was always the other party actively pulling her in.

Whether she could actively enter the space within a divine artifact by her own power was a question Leticia didn't know the answer to.

Perhaps possible, perhaps not, but she believed her sister and friends would do everything possible to rescue her from here.

"Speaking of which, our demon race's history books seem to record you, saying you were beaten to death by my ancestor." So what could she do during this boring waiting ti? Of course, trash talk.

Leticia clearly rembered her ancestor had once hamred this god back into its seal.

Sure enough, after hearing this, the god beca furious.

"What are you spouting? I, the noble God of Shadows, how could I possibly be killed by you lowly mortals!"

"Hey, look, you're getting worked up." Leticia chuckled. "Looks like the records in the books aren't wrong—you really were sealed once by my ancestor."

"Bastard! I didn't lose to her, I lost to another god!"

Another god? Leticia was startled inwardly. There was another god on the demon side?

But asking directly, this God of Shadows with its terrible temper definitely wouldn't answer her questions. So she needed to induce this god to say that god's na.

"Hah, you think I'd believe your nonsense? Losing is losing—why bring up other gods? You really have no sha." Leticia made a contemptuous expression. "Heh, a god defeated by us demons, how useless~"

......

"Miss Bai, please remain calm. Things haven't reached the worst point yet." When Sasha, crouching nearby as part of the reserve team, saw Bai Ling charging toward her with fierce light in her eyes, she almost couldn't catch her breath and nearly fainted.

She already knew the general situation—after all, her eyes weren't blind, and she couldn't miss such a big commotion over there.

Leticia's mysterious disappearance, with only that black short staff remaining in place—obviously, Leticia had been forcibly dragged into the god's divine domain.

"She can't hold out long against a god alone." How could Bai Ling not be anxious? She knew Leticia's strength clearly. Fighting a god, she'd run out of steam in an hour at most.

If sothing really happened to Leticia, she didn't dare think what would happen afterward.

"Hah, Miss Bai, please calm down first. No one could predict this, and even if they had, they couldn't have prevented it." Sasha was quite calm. Divine thods were like this—no warning possible, no counterasures either. "But you needn't worry about Miss Leticia's safety. As long as she doesn't wander around in the divine domain, the god can't do anything to her."

Taking this opportunity, Sasha gave Bai Ling a rundown of the specific situation within divine domains, emphasizing that as long as Leticia didn't actually step into the place holding the god, the god could only watch Leticia and grind its teeth.

"With Miss Leticia's strength, holding out for over a hundred years is no problem." Sasha indicated ti was plenty—enough for them to slowly find ways to rescue Leticia.

Divine artifacts' spaces contained magic power, and as long as there was magic power, Leticia wouldn't die.

"I'll go recover the divine artifact first. We'll discuss what to do next slowly after returning to the Demon King's palace."

"Good, quickly." Sasha's words were like a tranquilizer, calming the sowhat anxious Bai Ling. She believed in Leticia—this girl who could escape from her hands back then definitely wouldn't die so simply.

Sasha hurriedly ran to the clearing surrounded by confused demon soldiers. "Quickly move aside, I need to take this short staff back to the Demon King's palace."

Hearing the words "Demon King's palace," the watching soldiers quickly made way.

Following the path to where Leticia had disappeared, Sasha saw the anxious Aina and the bewildered Lance.

Lance's bewildernt had started much earlier—he still hadn't recovered from the fact that the people he'd been fighting were actually his own side.

"Where did Her Majesty go?" Seeing Sasha run in from outside, Aina quickly grabbed her and asked.

She had t Sasha before and knew this girl was Leticia's guest.

Now she couldn't find anyone else to ask, so seeing Sasha, she approached her like a desperate patient seeking any doctor.

"Don't worry, Leticia just went to pursue the escapees. I ca here to recover that thing over there." Sasha didn't tell the truth but told a small lie.

Intuition told her now wasn't a good ti to openly say Leticia had been dragged into a divine domain.

As everyone knew, Aina's brain wasn't very functional—she actually believed Sasha's lie full of holes.

Lance was still in a daze beside them and didn't raise objections to Sasha's explanation.

Just like that, Sasha successfully covered up Leticia's disappearance—so smoothly it seed dreamlike.

Coming before the black short staff, Sasha carefully took out her little book and cast several protective divine arts on herself.

She couldn't be sure whether the god in the staff would leave so nasty traps on the staff—better to be careful about everything.

Extending her hand, she slowly extracted the short staff from the black unidentifiable substance the woman had beco. Sasha frowned as she shook off the dirty things on the staff, then took out an exquisite crystal box from her pocket.

Opening the box and placing the staff inside, Sasha's anxious heart finally settled.

Now they didn't need to worry about the divine artifact falling into ill-intentioned hands.

"This box..." Bai Ling had appeared behind Sasha at so point. After Sasha finished, she asked.

Bai Ling's sudden voice startled Sasha, almost making her drop the crystal box.

Patting her chest with lingering fear, Sasha looked at Bai Ling sowhat unhappily. "Miss Bai, please don't be so scary in the future."

"Sorry." Bai Ling touched her nose—she didn't think she was very scary.

"Hah, this is a container specially prepared for divine artifacts. Placing divine artifacts inside prevents the gods within from affecting the outside world." Sasha explained.

Originally, she had planned to stuff the staff into this box and take it directly, but in the church, the staff was fixed in a stone and she couldn't extract it.

Then she waited there until the woman arrived. As it turned out, the staff ca out, but she was severely injured.

It dragged on until today before she finally completed her mission.

Oh, not really completed—at least she couldn't take the divine artifact away.

After all, Leticia was still locked inside the divine artifact. Even if she wanted to take it away, she'd have to release Leticia first.

Otherwise, she probably wouldn't make it out of the Demon Realm before being caught and killed by the furious Bai Ling and Qila.

"Let's return directly to the Demon King's palace. Though thods to forcibly open divine artifact spaces are few, they do exist." Sasha indicated rescuing Leticia wasn't very difficult. "Worst case, I'll request support from above."

She believed that with Leticia's personality, as long as she rescued her from the divine artifact space, compensation wouldn't be lacking.

Though the divine artifact might not be given to them, it should earn an attitude of turning a blind eye toward Divine Throne.

This would be quite a good deal.

"Really?" Bai Ling was sowhat skeptical.

"When it cos to divine matters, we at Divine Throne are professionals." Sasha said confidently. "Trust the professionals—I'll definitely bring Miss Leticia out completely intact."

......

"I say, can you only repeat these few sentences over and over?" In the black mist-shrouded space, Leticia sat sowhat listlessly in place, continuing to trash talk with that god. "Your brain isn't so small it can only rember these few sentences, right? Even our demon race's pet pigs can say several sentences."

"Bastard!"

"See, see, just those few sentences. You're really weak. An old thing like you should just stay buried in the dirt quietly—why fake your death and co back?"
