"Your examination was quite intense." Carefully placing Mo Zili, who was staring blankly with drool at the corner of her mouth, on the bed, Bai Ling looked at Leticia with strange eyes.
What had just happened in the bathroom could only be described as unbearable to witness.
Leticia's examination could only be described as terrifying. Judging from Mo Zili's reaction just now, this so-called examination could probably be read as torture.
"After all, it was a completely thorough examination. Did you think it would be comfortable?" Leticia shrugged, indicating that Bai Ling seed to have so misunderstanding about the examination she ntioned. "I chose that place to help her relax, and also so it would be convenient to clean up if she lost control of herself."
However, Mo Zili's endurance was quite good. She didn't lose composure too badly, at least making Leticia's original preparations unnecessary.
Her current blank state could be resolved with so sleep—it wasn't a big deal.
"Wait here for . I'm going to put a curse on her." Leticia waved her hand, signaling Bai Ling to move aside. "If she gets captured later, I'll activate the curse and kill her."
Keeping Mo Zili alive now was because Leticia's impression of this girl was still decent, and she felt it was sowhat inappropriate to let a girl in her pri die tragically.
But if her existence truly threatened the demon race's safety, Leticia wouldn't hesitate—she would be the first to eliminate this threat.
"Sorry." Walking to Mo Zili's side, Leticia said quietly.
The girl's vacant eyes showed no reaction. At this mont, she was like a finely crafted doll.
The bone-scraping pain from earlier had caused her to defensively shut down her consciousness. The current Mo Zili was indeed a doll—a living doll.
Bai Ling stood not far away, watching with complex emotions as Leticia used golden magical threads to draw an extrely complex magic circle on Mo Zili's forehead.
Ten minutes later, Leticia clapped her hands. "Whew, haven't done this kind of thing in a long ti. My technique has gotten rusty."
"You've done this before?"
"Quite a few tis. I do this to enemies I don't trust but don't want to kill." Leticia sighed. "Unfortunately, none of those people lived to the present."
"Let's go. Ti to rest. There's a pile of troubles tomorrow." Leticia yawned. "Go sleep in the room next door. I'll head back to my room first."
"Wait." Seeing Leticia about to leave, Bai Ling quickly reached out and grabbed Leticia's wrist.
"Hah, what?"
"Um, we haven't seen each other for so long. Shouldn't we, properly communicate?" Bai Ling asked quietly with a red face. "How about sleeping together tonight?"
Leticia's eyes widened. This Bai Ling was too shaless!
Wow, she had forcibly kissed her just half a year ago, and now she was talking like nothing happened. How thick was this person's skin?
"I suspect you've forgotten the taste of my slap." Leticia raised her hand, pretending to remind Bai Ling of the taste of that slap from half a year ago.
But how could Bai Ling be afraid of such things? If taking one slap could let her sleep with Leticia for one night, or if taking one slap could let her kiss Leticia, Bai Ling wouldn't mind taking ten slaps a day.
Anyway, her recovery ability was strong. The red marks left by Leticia's ordinary slaps without magic would fade in half a day at most.
As for pain, that was even simpler. As a thick-skinned warrior, she could ignore pain at the level of a slap.
"I promise not to do anything inappropriate!" Bai Ling patted her chest in guarantee.
"What use are your promises?" Leticia poked hard at Bai Ling's chest with her finger, sternly questioning. "We're facing a great battle right now, and instead of thinking about how to win, you're thinking about these things here. Too shaless!"
But Leticia's action had no effect—instead, it gave Bai Ling hope.
After all, Leticia hadn't explicitly refused. No explicit refusal ant there was hope.
With hope, it would depend on how she fought for it. Bai Ling firmly believed that opportunities were reserved for those who were prepared, and she was exactly that type of prepared and hardworking person.
Taking advantage of Leticia poking her chest, Bai Ling imdiately pulled the petite girl into her arms.
"What are you doing? Let go!" Leticia imdiately began struggling.
But her struggling force was so small it could almost be ignored.
Bai Ling knew she had bet correctly this ti.
"Promise , okay? Just this once." She brought her mouth to Leticia's ear and said very, very quietly.
Leticia wanted to refuse, but being held in Bai Ling's arms, she was already in a dazed state.
"No, absolutely not." She shook her head desperately, firmly resisting the thought that sleeping for one night wouldn't matter.
If there was one night, there would be two nights. If there were two nights, there would be three nights. After sleeping together for three nights, would she get used to sleeping with Bai Ling?
No, absolutely not. She was the Demon King—how could she get used to sleeping with a human?
And this human was so annoying, so thick-skinned, with no advantages except for this appearance.
She absolutely couldn't fall into the arms of this person who was beautiful on the outside but rotten within.
"Then escape from my arms. With your abilities, you could easily do this, right?" Bai Ling smiled wickedly. "If you don't escape, I'll take it as your agreent."
Such shaless words made Leticia's face turn red—not from embarrassnt, but from anger. She felt Bai Ling was clearly looking down on her.
Pride-loving Leticia couldn't accept being looked down upon by Bai Ling. So she gritted her teeth and actually squeezed out a bit of strength from her soft body, breaking free from Bai Ling's embrace.
Retreating several steps sowhat awkwardly, Miss Demon King panted a few tis and stamred: "You crawl, crawl away!"
A flash of regret crossed Bai Ling's eyes. She had thought Leticia really wouldn't resist, but in the end, she still escaped.
But this was Leticia—if she was really that easy to conquer, Bai Ling would be worried instead.
If she could use this thod to win over Leticia, then others could too. If Leticia encountered a girl as beautiful as herself soday, would she fall as quickly as she did when facing herself?
That was hard to say.
......
"Hiss... why would I have such a dream?" The next morning, Leticia, lying in bed, opened her eyes right on ti.
She tilted her head slightly to the side and, after confirming that what happened in the dream was indeed just a dream, breathed a sigh of relief as if a weight had been lifted.
She didn't know if it was because Bai Ling's arrival had disturbed her peace of mind, but she hadn't slept well all night yesterday. Her dreams were filled with that white-haired person's figure.
Although in the dream she had absolute dominance and even made that damn white-hair kneel on the ground and lick her feet, Leticia always felt sothing wasn't right.
Why would she dream about this white-haired bastard?
They say you dream of what you think about during the day, but she hadn't been thinking about doing anything with Bai Ling during the day, let alone doing the kind of things in the dream that made this innocent girl blush uncontrollably.
Eventually, Leticia's poor little brain couldn't even render such stimulating scenes anymore.
In short, to put it simply, Leticia had had a wet dream.
Having wet dreams was normal—everyone had wet dreams. What puzzled Leticia was the protagonist of this wet dream.
One was herself, which was understandable, but why was the other one that white-hair?
"Hah, it should be an accident." Leticia tried to convince herself that having Bai Ling as the protagonist of her wet dream was quite normal.
That person was very beautiful and quite interested in her, so having wild dreams about her wasn't unacceptable.
It was just a dream anyway. If she didn't say anything, only heaven and earth would know.
Getting out of bed, she walked dizzily into the bathroom. Looking at the slightly haggard girl in the mirror, Leticia said fiercely to the girl in the mirror: "Absolutely can't fall for her, understand?!"
The girl in the mirror naturally wouldn't answer. If she had answered, Leticia would probably have smashed the mirror with magic.
Splashing cold water to wash away the remaining drowsiness, Leticia casually combed her not-very-long hair. Xue'er would help her arrange it again later anyway.
After doing this, she walked out of the bathroom to find Xue'er already waiting in the room with several pieces of clothing.
"Good morning, Your Majesty." The maid smiled. "Breakfast is ready."
Actually, Leticia had always been curious about how much rest Xue'er got each day. She felt like Xue'er always slept later than her and woke up earlier than her, never taking afternoon naps or anything. After years of this, wouldn't her body have problems?
Regarding Leticia's confusion, Xue'er just smiled. "Your Majesty needn't worry about so much. I've lived like this for so many years and am used to this schedule."
"That's what you say, but I always feel like I'm a black-hearted boss exploiting employees." Leticia poked her head through the collar of a rather simple black dress. "So can't you prepare pants? I have to go to many places today."
"No." Xue'er shook her head. "Today's outfit has already taken exercise into careful consideration. Your Majesty definitely won't find it troubleso."
That was true—Leticia did feel this dress was more suitable for movent than what she'd worn the previous few days.
But, "I'll be exposed if there's a real fight, right?"
Xue'er imdiately pulled out a pair of safety shorts from her four-dinsional pocket, indicating she was prepared for this.
"Ah, this." Leticia had nothing to say.
Obediently putting on clothes and socks with Xue'er's help, looking at the girl in the mirror who was all black from head to toe, Leticia inexplicably felt she looked quite handso.
The black stockings that were almost opaque on her lower body weren't as uncomfortable as imagined—quite comfortable, actually.
Had demon craftsn's skills improved recently? Leticia rembered these kinds of stockings used to be just one word: hot.
So hot that she had to change to thinner stockings.
Her current outfit looked quite like what people generally imagined adventurers to be—heroic and giving a very capable feeling.
Except for being slightly petite, everything else was impeccable.
Even Bai Ling, after seeing Leticia like this, felt today's Leticia had a different kind of charm.
"I didn't expect you to have this side." Bai Ling, who had been sitting in the dining room eating breakfast, looked at Leticia coming down from the second floor, a flash of surprise in her eyes.
Such a heroic Leticia actually made Bai Ling feel she was quite handso.
"I'm super amazing when I get serious." Leticia said disdainfully. "Unlike you, not even bringing a change of clothes."
Yes, although it was sowhat embarrassing to say, Bai Ling had been wearing the sa clothes from when she entered the Demon Realm until today.
She could use her power to keep her body and clothes clean without producing any odor, but strictly speaking, she really hadn't changed clothes for over a week.
"Didn't bring spare clothes." Bai Ling turned her head sowhat guiltily. "Besides, not changing doesn't matter."
They wouldn't get dirty anyway, so what was wrong with wearing them a few more days?
Honestly, the clothes on Bai Ling's body were actually cleaner than those hanging in closets. For her, wearing clothes was just for looks and covering her body.
The outfit she was currently wearing was what she thought looked best, so she wasn't very willing to change.
"Wow, you're so slovenly." The slovenly king expressed disdain for this.
Xue'er looked at Leticia with half-closed eyes. Her Majesty still couldn't wash clothes or fold bedsheets.
Though the Demon King indeed didn't need to master these skills, such a Majesty didn't seem to have any qualification to despise others.
"Without Xue'er, I don't think you'd be much better than ." Bai Ling wasn't as face-saving to Leticia as Xue'er was. "You can't even dress yourself properly."
"Who says I can't dress myself properly?!"
"Really?" Bai Ling tilted her head. How did she rember that Leticia needed Xue'er's help getting dressed every day?
"Wow, you're looking down on !" Leticia imdiately began rolling up her sleeves, planning to fight Bai Ling.
To prevent her Majesty from embarrassing herself first thing in the morning, Xue'er imdiately pressed down on Leticia's shoulders. "Your Majesty, let's eat breakfast first."
"Tch, I'll let you off today." Xue'er's face had to be given. Leticia sat unhappily in her chair, eating breakfast with a fierce expression.
As if she were eating Bai Ling's blood and flesh.
This fierce look made even Bai Ling a little scared.
"What are you looking at? Go be your glutton!"
