[Moon Core - Silver Moon Clinic]

The surgery had progressed to its final stage,

where the major blood vessels between the two bodies had been perfectly paired externally, forming an integral extracorporeal circulation system, with synchronized heartbeats and effectively mixed blood throughout the body.

The dical team folded the operating table inward, causing William and Lorrian, whose bodies had been completely dissected, to face each other, their organs and flesh perfectly aligned in the process.

Following this, a seemingly petite female nurse wrapped in bandages brought over a steel container weighing several tons, sowhat resembling an Iron Virgin, but instead of spikes, the container had a series of needles inside.

This container, personally designed by Lorrian for his and William’s final fusion, was "Moon Coffin."

Carefully, the female doctor and nurses transferred the two bonded individuals into the container, ensuring that all needles were inserted into their bodies.

Then, following a predetermined sequence, they injected one by one a specially prepared Moon Potion.

Stimulated by the dicine,

the skin layers started to flutter and overlay,

organs began to migrate and combine,

bones began to converge and compress,

and fundantally, the cores of illness also began to rge,

creating an emblem of the ’Moon Lord’ within Lorrian as the Origin Disease manifested as a circular Moon Crystal, gradually embedding itself in the center of William’s Madness Brain.

Since the Madness Brain was already infected with Moon Transformation Disease, this integration went exceedingly smoothly,

and the mont the Moon Crystal embedded into the Madness Brain, it was as if a pale round moon had risen amidst a dark sea, covering the entire Dead Sea in a dim moonlight, no longer lonely.

The moon itself also reflected a dark image of the Dead Sea, becoming black, somber, and icy.

This process should have been led by Lorrian, or rather, the entire surgery was designed around him as the focal point. No matter how much William resisted or tried to use his spiritual power to fight back, he could not alter the ’predominant-subordinate relationship’ of the fusion process.

But...

Lorrian had never anticipated one thing: that within William’s body there was yet another person.

Though the ’predominant-subordinate relationship’ couldn’t be altered, with the ’predominant’ Lorrian’s absence, William as the ’subordinate’ naturally took over everything.

An unimaginable transformation began to occur in William,

even Lorrian himself could not predict what form their fusion would take;

he could only be sure of the fusion’s feasibility and effectiveness.

The Moon Coffin shook, a large amount of black liquid spilling out.

The female doctor and nurses didn’t know what to do;

they could only watch quietly,

soon, the turmoil ceased, and the coffin opened.

When the figure inside stepped out, the entire dical team was stunned, unable to utter a word... only the female doctor, after being frozen for a while, softly called out the na of the person she loved most.

"Lorrian."

Following the call of the female doctor,

a pitch-black eye with a full moon embedded in it turned towards them,

"Hmm~ the other party has already co over. I am going out now to bring him back to the surface to avoid damaging my hard-earned [Clinic].

You all just stay in the hospital, I’ll handle everything."

The female doctor looked at her ’master’s’ new form, listening to these magnetic, caring words, her legs involuntarily pressed together, shaking with excitent.

"Understood..."

"Hmm."

As ’Lorrian’ walked past the female doctor, he deliberately touched her head and whispered tenderly into her ear:

"Well done!"

This directly sent the female doctor into a brief trance, eventually leaving her sitting on the ground, incapable of moving.

...

In a broad street in the lower district of Zion,

a large number of Surgical Knives lay scattered,

the ’Blood Sword’ Earl Cos, too, had more than ten Surgical Knives embedded in his body, currently struggling to pull all the surgical knives out, each blade’s extraction bringing pain and neural interference which greatly affected his movents and even obstructed vital blood flow.

Asimov hadn’t pursued further;

using this ti, he sat on a bench by the road to rest for a while,

he was very passive about dealing with Zion’s issues, and if it wasn’t for the First Doctor who had once been his tutor and even made nurous sacrifices for him, he wouldn’t have co back at all.

It wasn’t because he was heartless,

but rather, any individual joining the Monastery was required to undergo a terribly severe Iron Chain Implant surgery, a process that suppressed or even erased an individual’s ’emotions’ to keep them peacefully in the Monastery, never leaving.

If Asimov’s gentlemanly character hadn’t been as solid as rock, he might not have even retained his basic humanity,

taking a leave under the pressure of the Monastery to co back was proof enough of how resolute his heart was.

But he himself did not intend to interfere too much with Zion’s incident, and he was rely acting out of friendship to hold back a rather formidable Crimson Noble,

The reason was simple, the collusion between the blood citizens and the Skin Factory was fundantally beneficial for the developnt of the Old World.

If this could revitalize the should-be bankrupt Skin Factory and incidentally revive the desolate blood citizens so they could rebuild the Source Epidemic Area, it would be equivalent to elevating the overall level of the Old World.

Asimov sensed another sinister and intense sll of blood and sighed faintly, "Ah~ Another one of the ’Seven Marquis’ has arrived, it seems Zion won’t be protected after all, I should try to rescue Zede and then evacuate from here.

Huh?!

"When did the moon beco like this... I rember it was stained with a layer of blood at the beginning, but now it makes

feel very uncomfortable."

As Asimov looked up at the moon, the ’Blood Sword’ at the other end had already removed all the surgical knives from his body, he didn’t attack directly but also looked up at the sky following Asimov.

Who knew, this glance actually made him shiver.

The moon hanging in the night sky was closer now, and was surrounded by a sinister black mist,

The most terrifying were the ’features’ ford by the moon,

The two largest moon craters serving as [eyes], pitch black and hollow,

A towering ridge between the eyes acting as [nose], sharp and resembling a crafty white-nosed clown.

The curved ground and massive cracks aligning vertically ford [mouth and teeth], seemingly mocking all life within Zion,

’Blood Sword’ also saw on the surface of the moon, roughly at the position of the left cheek, what looked like an explosion, with two light points falling towards the ground.

...

[Moon]

’Greed’ Cos in the form of 「Midge」 rapidly penetrated deep into the moon, Golden Eye helped him identify the correct path, but still, it took him quite a while to finally reach the Sensing spot.

"Wow! There really is a clinic here... Is the surgery not done yet?"

Cos pulled off the cross necklace and fiercely clenched it! The blood forged, and the Great Cross Sword was once again held in his hand, drawing closer to the clinic.

His steps were slow, ensuring that the Golden Eye could analyze every detail.

Just as he was about to step into the pitch-black clinic, snap! The hall’s incandescent light suddenly lit up, and the intensely overwhelming light shot into Cos’s eyes, affecting even the Golden Eye montarily.

After the dazzle,

A very ordinary hand had already pressed against Cos’s face, five fingers violently clenched his face, transmitting a trendous force that even crushed the skin and smashed the facial bones, with the fingers further plunging into the brain.

"Return to Zion."

As the voice fell,

An even greater force was transmitted, clutching at Cos’s face and forcefully breaking through the moon’s inner layers of rock, from the core to the surface, then flying toward the ground.

This process,

Cos tried to struggle but found that control over his brain was taken away, he absolutely couldn’t control his own body,

Just as he regained bodily control using his blood, his physical body had already reached directly above Zion, and was thrown downward,

hitting the city ground at more than three tis the speed of sound,

even seeing three rings of air waves and a straight line of descent.

Boom!

The entire city trembled,

the ground was smashed creating a circular crater tens of ters in diater,

Cos’s body was instantly shattered upon impact, but the fragnts of flesh also transford into blood essence, rapidly gathering into a human form at the center of the crater,

This collision reduced him by a full 1/10th of his Fra liquid.

"What on earth... What happened? Who was it?"

At that mont, a distinct aura ca from above,

looking up,

a familiar yet strange young man was slowly descending,

dressed in a white battle skirt, with just the ankle and foot structure visible beneath the skirt hem, his pale bare feet gently stepping on the edge of the crater, silent and serene.

The bare-chested upper body could be described as a ’sculpture’ in its perfection, except there was a deep round Abyss hole among the eight-pack abs, bottomless.

Looking up further,

the man’s face resembled William’s, but his skin was even more delicate, as if the features were finely sculpted, and the outline of his jaw seed more pronounced.

His half silver, half black hair brushed past his ears, with an additional ’Moon Horn’ growing from the right side, aptly shaped like a crescent moon’s long horn structure.

His eyes were completely tainted black, yet his pupils maintained a bright white luster,

one side showing the New Moon, the other the Full Moon.

The Moonlight Greatsword was slung on his back, with a Spine Long Sword emitting black aura hanging at his waist,
