Chapter 305: External Support
Nightmare Town – Paradise
The Ferris wheel, adorned with colorful little lights, was in operation, with Yi Chen and Catherine sitting in one of the small compartnts.
But the atmosphere wasn’t quite right then,
Yi Chen had his hands stacked in front of him, his head bowed in deep thought.
Catherine, on the other hand, was scratching frantically at her face with a sense of impatience, all the while uttering anxious words as multiple different tongues kept flicking out of her mouth.
“Ah~ I so regret making that bet with you, William…These guys are actually using the ‘Contagious Skin Disease’ bestowed by the Mysterious Skin Market to erode my Nightmare Space.
If it weren’t for playing gas with you, William, I would have launched a full-scale invasion against Zion by now, given that more than 50% of the residents, the gentlen, have ingested nightmare substances, enough to trigger a city-wide upheaval to disrupt these people’s entry into dreams.

The more Catherine talked, the more agitated she beca, eventually bursting into tears.

Yi Chen completely agreed with Catherine’s proposed forceful asures;

and secondly, if it severely affected the ga’s balance, Yi Chen could either ask for a rematch or negotiate another solution with Catherine to minimize Zion’s loss.

Catherine leapt down from the top of the Ferris wheel, leading Yi Chen to the nearby Circus Tent. As a student and Breeder, Blanklin followed trustingly at the rear.
The entrance, shaped like a ‘V’, was exactly as seen in the posters earlier, but this was just an imitation Catherine had made in the Dream, lacking any substantial pull or allure.
“Just sit in the Audience! Watching my performance is enough… Oh, and most of those guys are even worse than . When they arrive, they might point fingers at you, so don’t mind them and try not to provoke them,
otherwise, it wouldn’t be good if they ended up not dealing with those gentlen but killing you instead.

Yi Chen and Blanklin sat in the last row of the audience.
Suddenly, Catherine hopped onto the center of the Circus stage and began drawing an Array Seal that could connect with a real Circus,
not using octopus tentacles this ti,
but using a knife to cut her fingers, letting drops of her clown-origin blood fall, a pitch-black liquid that didn’t reflect any light.

And each weapon had a piece of limb attached to it, such as a smiling head on the spear, fingers strung on the rapier, or thighs wedged among the scimitars.
Catherine silently chanted sothing, sending a request through the Array that connected and communicated to the thoughts of the people who were sleeping in the real Circus.
She soon got a response.

Accompanied by three columns of light descending, a black substance between liquid and gas spread across the stage, even completely obstructing the combined view of Yi Chen and Catherine.
They could only catch a glimpse of three silhouettes appearing.
By the shapes of their bodies, two were normal, one was tall.
As the black substance slowly receded into the ground, the corresponding figures gradually revealed.
One was a middle-aged woman holding a puppet, with era-defining brown curly hair and a wooden expression, contrastingly, the doll appeared much more expressive.
Another was a man in dungarees painted with theatrical makeup and walking on tall stilts, his stilts were indeed made of perfectly-shaped male calves, reaching a height of ten ters.
The last figure stood next to Catherine, gently touching her head, clothed in a black tuxedo, a round top hat, and a Guy Fox mask.
Catherine was greatly surprised by the arrival of the three, especially by the mysterious figure currently touching her head.
“Uncle Jian! You actually ca!” she exclaid.
“You troublemaker, instead of relaxing during the holiday, you just had to stir up trouble… I can sll a rather serious leather aura, did you offend soone from the Skin Market?”
Catherine imdiately transford into a chatterbox, swiftly explaining the situation with the octopus tentacles that had grown from her mouth.
“…so that’s the story. I hope everyone can help disperse the six people in the Church to facilitate the completion of this Soul Contract ga I and my friend want to play,” she said.
The man called Jian gently tugged at the edge of his white glove, made an OK gesture, and turned his bizarre mask towards Yi Chen in the audience.
In that instant of eye contact, Yi Chen felt a rare sense of danger, comparable to the Death incident that had occurred in Levinho.
It must be known that these were only projections of their consciousness, their true forms were probably even more terrifying.
