It's essential to understand that they had previously placed at least a hundred million Void Mines in the area ahead. After all, they couldn't be sure from which direction the enemy would approach Twin Moon Star. While a hundred million might seem like a vast number, spread across the universe, it only covers a tiny area.

This setup was based on Alice's calculations, determining the most likely route. Otherwise, not only would they not have been able to destroy so many fleets, but the enemy might not even have encountered their minefield.

“This welcoming ceremony should surprise them. Is it our turn to step in now?” Lily was brimming with anticipation. The recent battles had thrilled her to the core.

In every battle, she was always at the forefront, leading her troops to conquer planet after planet.

And now, their enemy was a powerhouse from the Large Galaxy. Lily's eyes seed to shimr with excitent.

“Everyone, please wait. Once their powerhouse makes its move, you can take action. For now…” Su Yi gestured ahead, “Watch my performance.”

All that the Red Alert Empire had left for their welcoming ceremony were those Void Mines. Still, they managed to weaken the entire enemy fleet by almost ten percent, much to Hu Song's frustration.

Such an inauspicious start!

Finally, a deputy conveyed so good news: “General, we have detected a fleet around Twin Moon Star. They seem to be well-prepared.”

Hu Song resisted the urge to slap him. Wasn't that obvious?

If they weren't prepared, how could their fleet have been ambushed en route?

Taking a deep breath, Hu Song gave a direct order: “Destroy their fleet. Take Twin Moon Star.”

In Hu Song's view, even if the enemy fleet was sizeable, he wasn't concerned.

After all, his fleet was among the strongest in the entire Feathered Warbler Empire. A re unknown fleet with seemingly outdated warships was of no consequence to him.

Typically, fleet battles were straightforward exchanges of firepower, with little tactics involved.

However, in the Red Alert Empire, they brought a myriad of innovations to warship combat. To advance in the Red Alert ranks and command a fleet, one must defeat Alice in a 'restrained mode'.

Alice was the true mastermind behind the Red Alert Empire's fleet strategies.

And Su Yi was the only one who had defeated a 'standard mode' Alice in a direct fleet simulation battle. In this mode, Alice claid to use half of her real strength.

This was one of the main reasons Su Yi was appointed as the temporary commander for this mission.

“They really underestimate , attacking so directly.” Su Yi sneered, issuing commands.

A portion of the warships suddenly vanished without any notice.

Rember, the Red Alert Base has the powerful Rift Generator structure that can block any surveillance.

The deploynt of the MCV (Mobile Construction Vehicle) doesn't necessarily require a ground surface. Even on a warship, a base can be built. This ti, Su Yi constructed a base on the flagship.

Who else could boast a portable Red Alert Base?

Moreover, many warships opened their hatches, releasing streaks of light. These raced towards the enemy warships at incredible speeds.

These lights were nothing other than the new products researched by the Combat Laboratory: space-faring Fighter Jets and chas!

It was unclear whether chas or Fighter Jets were more potent. Even Su Chen couldn't decide.

Though Fighter Jets couldn't transform or have limbs, their operation was significantly simpler than chas.

Most importantly, Fighter Jets required less energy to produce than chas.

It was evident that both Fighter Jets and chas were upgraded versions, thanks to both the System and the Combat Laboratory.

The enemy fleet imdiately noticed the streaks of light.

“What are those lights?”

“General, they seem to be... Fighter Jets and chas?” The deputy's expression was peculiar.

The Feathered Warbler Empire, unlike the Rota Empire, had decent technological advancent, but they focused mainly on warship technology. They still relied on surface-based units and had no interstellar Fighter Jets or chas.

Their typical approach with fleets was direct overpowering bombardnts that easily wiped out enemies. Why would they need any other strategies?

However, for the Red Alert Empire, any technology that could secure a victory was valuable.

“They're just toys. Destroy them.”

Hu Song dismissed them. To him, they were re child's play.

Indeed, with his Large Galaxy-level power, he had the right to say that. However, he overlooked the challenges warships faced against such adversaries.

Due to their small size, Fighter Jets and chas were hard targets. With Alice's assistance, they could determine the safest routes amidst countless trajectories, making them difficult to hit.

The battle began with both sides engaging. Leading the charge for the Red Alert was their pride, the Celestial Armor. Now, its re appearance was awe-inspiring.

Humanoid in design, entirely white, with chanical wings and a ship-cutting sword attached to its waist. Once activated, the blade could extend for several kiloters, living up to its na.

The entire unit was ard with various missiles and lasers. Originally, the Celestial Armor didn't co with the ship-cutting sword. It was Yun Ru's personal touch.

She believed that if her Earthbreaker couldn't achieve certain feats, then a real ship-cutting sword should.

It had been tested before. A single strike from the ship-cutting sword could sever a warship. However, using it consud most of the Celestial Armor's energy, so it was not to be used lightly.

Interestingly, the pilot of this Celestial Armor was an acquaintance of Su Chen's.

It was Luo Hang, who once followed Leng Yuwei.

All this while, he seed almost invisible, but in reality, he was always fighting alongside various Red Alert Empire troops.

His power had now reached the peak of the eighth order, barely qualifying him for interstellar battlefields.

“The Empire Empress is our leader. As her subordinate, I can't let her down. This ti, I aim to destroy 10 warships!” (To be continued...)
