At this mont, all Super Soldiers had been dispatched to the front lines, leaving the main base at its weakest in terms of defense.
Even the Dragon Knight summoned by Su Chen had been sent to the forefront to accelerate the advance. Su Chen had not anticipated an attack on the base at this juncture, let alone by Yun Ru.

"How odd. Have Yun Ru and Libra from this world t? Are they still as close?" Su Chen chuckled to himself.
It seed that in any world, Yun Ru and Libra were destined to be partners.
"Cease fire!" Su Chen commanded with a wave of his hand, and all the soldiers halted. No one dared to defy a Commander's order.

Yun Ru, rage written all over her face, spotted Su Chen at the forefront of the crowd as if harboring an irreconcilable hatred towards him. "Su Chen, you shall die!" she exclaid.
Without giving Su Chen a chance to respond, Yun Ru plunged her Earthbreaker into the ground, preparing to unleash her ultimate move!
However, in the next second, her vision blurred, and to her astonishnt, the Earthbreaker had vanished from her grip.
"Looking for this?" A light laugh echoed from nearby, and Yun Ru turned to see her Earthbreaker in Su Chen's hands.
How was this possible? She was protected by a Psychic shield. How did Su Chen bypass it?
A trace of ashen hue overtook Yun Ru's face, nearly succumbing to despair. She hadn't expected Su Chen to be so powerful, snatching the Earthbreaker right from her hands.
Su Chen casually placed the Earthbreaker on the ground, addressing her calmly, "Yun Ru, why resort to violence upon eting?"
While others showed no reaction, Yun Ru’s face drastically changed, her voice trembling, "How... how do you know my na?"
His words had shocked Yun Ru beyond belief.
Su Chen smiled, "Not only do I know your na, but I also know your fondness for grilled skewers, and..."
As Su Chen listed more facts, Yun Ru’s shock intensified, for he was spot on!
These were details known only to those close to her. How could Su Chen be aware?
"Impossible! I'm not from this era. How would you know..." Yun Ru abruptly covered her mouth, realizing her slip.
Su Chen's eyes narrowed, catching on to her words. Yun Ru claid she wasn't from this era?
Damn it!
Could it be that Yun Ru had traveled back in ti using a ti machine?

Su Chen was on the verge of cursing out loud. He finally rembered—the Red Alert World indeed had the existence of a ti machine. But as to where it was, that was anyone’s guess.
After all, he had never heard of a ti machine here, and his initial thought was that it didn't exist. But now, it seed that the ti machine must be a concept from the future, and Yun Ru was soone who had traveled back from that ti.
He finally understood why he hadn't been able to find Yun Ru.
How could he, when she was from the future?

His mission target was Yun Ru!

Yun Ru's complexion turned so pale it seed she could bleed. She had almost completely lost her color, "You even know about Libra and the ti machine. Who exactly are you?"
Yun Ru was genuinely panicked. She had never anticipated that soone from the past would know so much about a person from the future like herself.
"You all, leave us," Su Chen dismissed the Generals, leaving just him and Yun Ru in the area.
"Now we can have a proper discussion. Why did you use the ti machine to co from the future to kill ? Did I commit so heinous act in the future?"
Su Chen believed that even though he wasn't a saint, he wasn't a tyrant either. It made no sense for Yun Ru to travel back in ti just to kill him.
The previously ashen-faced Yun Ru now flushed with blood; she was furious.
"How dare you even ask? You, Su Chen, the dictator of Earth in the future, are infamous! Under your rule, the whole world has turned into hell. Countless people dream of overthrowing your regi. The Inferno Resistance Army that I founded is just one of the many camps or factions."
"We firmly believe that one day we will topple your rule. It wasn't until Dr. Einstein invented the ti machine that we saw a chance! That is, to return to the past and kill you when you were still weak. Killing you would change the future!"
Su Chen's expression turned odd. He would beco a dictator in the future? What kind of absurd joke was that?
This wasn't his world. How could he possibly stay here?

Su Chen struggled to keep himself composed, finding the situation utterly absurd. Was he supposed to help Yun Ru achieve her dream by eliminating himself?
If he died, what use would there be in completing the mission?
