Chapter 45: Kiss, Jealousy
The land near the dock had long be preserved through insiders. Mo Qianxue stared at the sky, speechless. Money makes the mare go, indeed. No wonder there were many people here to buy land though it was the first day the dock was open for investnt. It turned out that they had fucking preserved in advance.
The other day when she had co to inquire, one of the managers told her that the selling didn’t start yet. It turned out the real estate industry had been black since ancient tis.
Learning that the pieces of land were bought by a few big rchants for goods stocking, Mo Qianxue instantly decided to buy the most front one of the lands left.

After going through all the docuntal procedures of land purchasing, Mo Qianxue got out of the managing office, all smiles.
She just walked out of door when roars of shouting sent over in the distance.

“Co! The lady fell in the water.”
“Help...”
Then she heard plop after plop, the sound of soone diving into the water, probably to save the lady.
In such cold winter, people in the water would either be drowned or frozen to death. How unlucky to fall into water! And how courageous the ones jumping into cold water to save people!
Thinking about it, Mo Qianxue’s unconsciously walked in the direction of the accident. In a good mood, she was willing to watch the scene.
When she arrived at the site through the crowd, the servants-like people had lifted the girl out of the water.
Many nannies and girl servants rushed over and surrounded the lady.
“Lady...”
“Lady, are you okay...”
“Lady, wake up...”
Since she had been picked up from water and there were many servants around her, she would be alright in a while. Mo Qianxue guessed that there was no interesting scene to watch and turned to leave. Liu Laoshuan was waiting for her over there.
Yet, just as she turned around, a faint but clear trembling voice rang, “Nanny, nanny, lady...lady isn’t breathing...”
Mo Qianxue’s body paused and then she heard a scream from the nanny behind her, “Lady, don’t die!”
The nannies and girl servants instantly began to cry altogether, as loud as they could.
A little while the lady had been in the water. She died now? Mo Qianxue turned back, thinking fast. The lady must be choked by the water. Yet in the ancient ti, ordinary people had little dical knowledge. They couldn’t know it.

Mo Qianxue had no ti to think too much, pushing away the crowded people before her, and sprinted over.
At this mont, the lady was closely encircled by layers after layer of male and female servants.
Mo Qianxue wasn’t able to push them away, shouting, “Don’t stand in the way!”

The person sneered. He was just trying to find soone to bla and she stood out. If the lady died, the masters would definitely get soone to vent their anger. This stupid woman jumped out of the crowd on her own. She was asking for it. Don’t bla him for being cold-hearted.
A few male servants stepped forward to catch Mo Qianxue, who roared ragingly, “How dare you! Do you wish her death?”
The servants paused in shock, and the old nanny who was crying on the ground stood up. She seed a sensible person. In view of the situation, she turned serious and scolded the male servants, “Retreat!”
Fighting back her tears, the nanny got down to her kneels and kowtowed to Mo Qianxue, “Miss, please save our lady. Jian Mansion will give you a generous reward.”
The girl servants kneeled down too. If their lady died, they couldn’t survive either.
“Evacuate the crowd. Don’t stand in the way!” Mo Qianxue didn’t waste ti in social formalities and, after giving the order, walked right to the lady.
The other servants surrounding her also stepped away at the nanny’s directive.
Mo Qianxue squatted on the side of the lady, her right palm placing on the lower part of the chest and left hand on the right hand to press downwards in a regular rhythm until the lady spat out much water from her mouth. She stopped the action.
Then, with one hand placing level and the other into a fist, she started to beat one by one to help her with a chest resuscitation.
“How dare you! Our lady has gone, you should dare to beat her.” A girl servant walked up to hit Mo Qianxue but was stopped by the nanny.
Many other girls who wanted to step over were also reprimanded by her.
In view that the beating was futile, Mo Qianxue seed to decide sothing.
She seized the lady’s jaw and pinched her nostrils. After taking a deep breath, she began to slowly blow air into the lady’s mouth and until her chest slightly raised, released the nostrils and pressed with one hand her chest to help her breathe. The process was repeated for a few tis.

The nanny’s face turned lead, but she steadily stood there to prevent anyone from getting near.

Biting his teeth in a rage, the elegant figure on the branch also left after confirming that Mo Qianxue got onboard.
