The Lady of the Prestigious Family is a Big Boss Chapter 87 - 087, Feed it to the dog (first update)
After much hesitation, Ye Jiuliang still accepted the can of fresh milk.
The warmth that touched her palm was soothing.
She was taken aback at first, but when she realized what it ant, her heart was filled with an array of emotions.
"My master is quite concerned about Ms. Ye and is worried it would be bad for Ms. Ye to drink sothing cold right after waking up," Wei Bei explained, stopping just there.
Ye Jiuliang clenched her fingertips, masking the complexity in her eyes, and walked away.
...
"Master, I’ve brought the items." Wei Bei walked into the study with a bag, and upon seeing Wei Nan as well, the corner of his mouth lightly curled up.
With soone else here, at least he wouldn’t be the only one caught in the crossfire if the master were to lash out later.
Upon hearing this, Wei Nan curiously looked at the bag placed on the table.
The dark bag was tied at the top, hiding its contents from view.
"What’s in it?" Wei Nan sidled up next to Wei Bei and whispered.
Wei Bei smiled mysteriously, "I advise you not to be curious, or you might end up suffering."
Wei Nan beca even more puzzled.
The man seated on the sofa, with his peerlessly handso features, had a layer of coldness over them, his eyes fixed on the bag with a hint of displeasure.
With a move of his strong arm, he picked open the bag and turned it upside down, its contents scattering across the table.
Upon a closer look, Wei Nan saw envelopes, chocolates?
What’s going on here?
Li Mochan gazed at the pile of colorful envelopes on the table, his expression as if he bore a deep grudge.
He pulled out one of the envelopes, a light shade of green, sowhat fresh and quaint.
As he tore open the envelope and unfolded the enclosed letter, it lay there quietly, its ink scent still faint.
Li Mochan skimd the contents of the letter ten lines at a glance, and a terrifying storm began to churn in the depths of his icy eyes.
Daring to write love letters to his little wolf cub, soone had quite the nerve.
Even from a few ters away, Wei Bei and Wei Nan could feel a bone-chilling rage emanating from him.
The two started rubbing their arms instinctively, their hearts pounding in trepidation.
"Burn them all." His voice was as cold and deep as ever, full of displeasure.
Wei Bei stepped forward, sweeping all the items on the table quickly back into the bag.
"Master, what about these chocolates?" he asked tentatively.
Li Mochan gave him a cold look, "Feed them to the dogs."
Wei Bei, "..."
Do dogs even like chocolate?
"What are you standing around for?"
The frosty voice rose again, prompting Wei Bei and Wei Nan to scamper out.
Downstairs, the Jiang family matriarch had just returned from a walk and was now listening to music while enjoying her tea.
Aju brought over a plate of freshly made pastries, her eyes smiling, "Madam Jiang, you seem to be in a good mood today."
Madam Jiang lifted the lid off her tea, letting out a light sigh, "Jiuliang hasn’t been here for several days, that little rascal Ahan, really, doesn’t know how to treat a girl right. He’s driven her away and doesn’t even know to coax her back."
Aju covered her mouth with a giggle, "It’s common for young people in love to have their ups and downs. This is the first ti I’ve seen Young Master Mohan take such an interest in a young lady. You can rest easy, madam. Young Master Mohan will eventually coax Miss Ye back."
Madam Jiang, "I hope so."
At the sound of footsteps, Aju turned her head toward the staircase.
"Young Master Mohan."
Li Mochan humd in acknowledgnt, eting Madam Jiang’s gaze and calling out softly, "Grandmother."
Madam Jiang huffed softly, ignoring him.
Li Mochan was unfazed, his long legs taking him in the direction of the kitchen.
"Madam Jiang, what is Young Master Mohan doing..." Aju said, surprised.
It was the first ti Madam Jiang had seen her grandson enter the kitchen, and she gestured with her eyes for Aju to go and see.
"Yes."
As Aju entered the kitchen, she found the refrigerator door open with Li Mochan selecting an assortnt of ingredients.
Thinking he wanted sothing to eat, Aju stepped forward, "Young Master Mohan, what would you like to eat? I’ll cook it for you."
Li Mochan closed the refrigerator and looked up at her, "What is suitable for soone who is sick to eat?"
"Ah?" Sister Aju didn’t react for a mont.
"What can soone with a cold and fever eat?" Li Mochan asked again with rare patience.
This ti, Sister Aju understood and a knowing smile appeared on her face, "When sick, one should eat sothing light. How about cooking so fish porridge?"
Rembering the last ti the little wolf cub ate boiled fish, Li Mochan nodded his head.
"Young Master Mohan, you should go out, I’ll cook," Sister Aju said.
Li Mochan, "No need, I’ll do it myself."
"You’re going to cook yourself?" Sister Aju looked at him with astonishnt in her eyes.
Soone who was never involved in household chores suddenly deciding to cook would be hard to believe for anyone.
Li Mochan grunted, "Sister Aju, could you please teach ?"
Sister Aju was alard, then quickly nodded, "Not at all, not at all troubleso, I’ll get the ingredients ready for you first."
Unaware of what was happening in the kitchen, the elderly Madam Jiang saw that Sister Aju had not returned for so ti and got up to check on the situation.
"Aju, you..."
Upon seeing the person in charge of cooking, her words abruptly stopped.
Madam Jiang’s legs were rooted to the spot, unable to move.
Was she seeing things, or was that scoundrel Ahan actually cooking?
Had she been raising a fake grandson all these years?
"Old madam," noticing soone behind her, Sister Aju turned around and, seeing Madam Jiang’s stunned look, she smiled knowingly.
Madam Jiang ca back to her senses and quickly pulled her aside, whispering in a low voice, "What’s going on here?"
Sister Aju smiled and whispered a few words into her ear.
After listening, Madam Jiang finally showed a smile on her face.
At last, he’d co to his senses.
"Then you’d better go and guide him quickly, otherwise, if the rice is too bad, it would be bad if it scared his wife away," Madam Jiang said loudly on purpose, not far away, Li Mochan’s hand holding the ladle paused.
The aromatic fragrance of the boiling fish porridge filled the air, and the steam blurred the emotions in his eyes.
Would the little wolf cub like the porridge he made?

The fine rain, densely slanting down.
Having taken leave and not gone to Beisen, Ye Jiuliang woke up to the drizzly rain outside the window.
She threw back the covers, wandering barefoot between the living room and kitchen.
After searching the kitchen, the fridge was empty except for beer, still just beer.
She scratched her head, then turned back to the living room.
After thinking, she decided to make a trip to the supermarket.
Even though she couldn’t cook, she figured she should at least stock up on so snacks.
Having made up her mind, she picked up the hat on the table, put on her shoes, and was ready to leave.
Pushing open the door, she was surprised to see the person standing on the steps.
"Miss Ye."
Wei Bei lowered the hand he was about to use to knock, greeting her with a smile.
After her surprise, Ye Jiuliang asked calmly, "Is sothing the matter?"
"My master was worried that Miss Ye’s cold hadn’t gotten better, so he sent here to deliver a al to you."
Following his gaze, she looked at the al box in his hand, her eyes flickering slightly.
"No need, please take it back," she refused.
Wei Bei looked at her with a difficult expression and said humorously, "Miss Ye, you better accept it. If I take this al box back, I might not see the sun tomorrow."
"..." Was it really that serious?
"Well, Miss Ye, I actually have so things to take care of, so I need to go," he said, putting down the al box and then running off.
He got into the car, his movents fluid and swift.
"Wait..."
Ye Jiuliang opened her mouth to call him, but in the next second, the car shot away, not pausing for a mont.
Ye Jiuliang withdrew her gaze, looking down at the al box on the ground, her lips pursed, a bit worried.
