Ye Jiuliang smiled, rubbing her head against his chest.
After loitering around for quite a while, they didn’t leave until it was almost seven o’clock.
Driving to the city center, they parked the car near the plaza, and chose to walk.
It was still early, the streets were quiet and empty, but the surrounding shops had started opening one after another.
Having lived in Y country for years, Ye Jiuliang was very familiar with the place and took Li Mochan to wander around the morning market street.
There was an alley there, surrounded by breakfast places.
They bought loads of breakfast until they couldn’t carry anymore, then they finally left the alley and returned to the car.

They were probably going to return to M country in a couple of days, after today’s business was done. She planned to tell the old lady and the others in person about the baby, but since Grandfather Li had always been in the capital, she thought she should still inform him as well.
That day, when she told her uncle about it, he laughed nonstop over the phone. She thought if Grandfather Li knew, he would probably be happy too.
Li Mochan, cleaning the crumbs from the corner of her mouth with a napkin, said, "Not yet."

Just as Ye Jiuliang had guessed, Grandfather Li was indeed about to head out to a teahouse for morning tea when he received the call from Li Mochan.

His age no longer allowed for early shocks.
Hearing the caution in Grandfather’s voice, Ye Jiuliang’s smile deepened, "It should be considered good news, I guess."
"Alright, go ahead," Grandfather Li breathed a sigh of relief.
Without any preamble, she dropped the bombshell, "You’re going to be a grandfather."
"Wh-what?" Grandfather Li stuttered in response, thinking there was sothing wrong with his ears.
He was going to be a grandfather?
That ant she was pregnant?
