She whispered softly, "You all go inside; we’re going to leave first."
Ye Jiuliang nodded. Once they had left, the group headed toward the direction of the hospital ward.
As he neared the door, Ji Mingqian’s eyes betrayed a flicker of embarrassnt.
After hesitating again and again, he stopped in his tracks, "Ajiu, I need to use the restroom and return a call. You guys go ahead; I’ll co over in a bit."
With that, he unceremoniously shoved the fruit basket into Li Mochan’s hands and walked away with calm steps.
"Why is Aqian so jumpy?" Ye Jiuliang watched his retreating figure with a suspicious gaze, feeling that sothing was off.
Gu Xinuo chuckled, "He’s always been jumpy, don’t mind him."
In the anti, Li Mochan had already walked into the ward.
"Asheng, soone has co to visit you," Ye Jiuliang said as he walked in.
Inside, Jiang Yisheng had just thought about lying down to rest when he heard her voice and slowly sat up, shifting his body.
Looking up, he saw two figures walking in one after the other.
"Yisheng, will you welco ?" Gu Xinuo waved at him with a bright smile in her eyes.
Jiang Yisheng paused, his gaze involuntarily moving to the person behind her.

Instantly feeling a sense of emptiness, Jiang Yisheng suppressed the desolation in his eyes and pulled at the corner of his mouth, "Of course, you’re welco."
Gu Xinuo approached the bedside and, seeing his heavily bandaged arm, clicked her tongue.
"Get well soon; I’m waiting to go cheer you on at your second concert."
"That’ll probably have to wait a while," Jiang Yisheng replied with a helpless smile.
On the other side, Ye Jiuliang poured a cup of water and handed it to Gu Xinuo, "Anuo, are you guys staying here today?"
As she took the cup and pulled out a chair to sit down, Gu Xinuo shook her head lightly, "It depends. If it’s early, we’ll go back; if it’s late, we’ll rest here tonight and leave tomorrow."
Catching the keyword "you guys," Jiang Yisheng’s eyes flickered slightly as he asked in a low voice, "Xinuo, did Chu Chen co with you?"
Gu Xinuo answered unsuspectingly, "No, Aqian ca with ."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Yisheng’s lips tightened into a straight line, and his hand, from which the IV had been removed, curled up slightly.
So he ca, but he wouldn’t co inside; is that what it ans?
So ti passed, and Ji Mingqian still hadn’t appeared.
"Did Aqian fall into a pit or sothing? He’s taking so long to co back," Ye Jiuliang looked toward the door, complaining unabashedly.
Gu Xinuo added fuel to the fire, "Either he fell into a pit or he can’t move because he ran into a pretty nurse on the way."
The two of them were so caught up in their banter that they completely missed the gradual strain on Jiang Yisheng’s smile.
Just then, a man’s magnetic voice rang out at the door, "In broad daylight, can you two stop badmouthing people? Do you think I’m dead?"
Jiang Yisheng’s brows were downturned, masking his facial expression, but his clenched fist hidden under the blanket slowly unwound.
Heavy footsteps approached at an unhurried pace.
Step by step, they seed to tread upon Jiang Yisheng’s heart.
Seeing the person who walked in, Ye Jiuliang teased with a rascally smile, "We thought you fell into a pit and were about to fish you out."
Ji Mingqian snorted, his deep gaze sweeping over the person sitting on the hospital bed without anyone noticing.
The bandages on his forehead and arm looked particularly jarring, and Ji Mingqian couldn’t help but inwardly curse himself for being a fool.
Annoyed, he blurted out before he could stop himself, "Even performing at a concert you can fall, how stupid is that?"
No sooner had the words left his mouth than the relaxed atmosphere suddenly froze, plumting to a freezing point.
