Jiang Yisheng stared speechlessly at the sky, wondering why he was so unfortunate.
He still hadn’t rinsed off all the foam on his head, and sitting there, he felt uncomfortable all over.
Putting down the remote control, Ji Mingqian saw that he was still standing. He reached out, pulled him down and said, "Why are you standing? Sit down and wait."
Caught off guard and easily pulled, Jiang Yisheng fell next to him on the couch, banging his lower back against the armrest and feeling a faint pain.
Hiss.
Jiang Yisheng frowned and discreetly rubbed the spot where it hurt.
Seeing his small movent, Ji Mingqian asked, "Did you bump into sothing?"
"Could you be a bit gentler when you pull ?" Jiang Yisheng gave him a sidelong look of disdain as he spoke.
This is an arm, not a chicken claw. If he pulled any harder, Jiang Yisheng suspected his arm would be dislocated.
Ji Mingqian moved closer, smiling slyly as if up to no good, "How about I rub it for you then?"
"...Scram." Jiang Yisheng’s spine stiffened, his handso face darkening, nearly ready to punch him in the face.
Seeing him on the verge of blowing up, Ji Mingqian, unaffected like a dead pig not afraid of boiling water, teased carelessly, "What are you afraid of, we’re all n. Where did you get hurt? Let press it for you."
As he finished speaking, he reached out, trying to pull open his collar.
Like a startled deer, Jiang Yisheng shook off Ji Mingqian’s hand, anger tinting his fine features, "Ji Mingqian, have you no sha?"
His voice rose involuntarily, and the tips of his ears turned pink.
Ji Mingqian burst into laughter, as if he had discovered a new world, "No way, Jiang Yisheng, your ears are red. You can’t possibly be getting shy this easily, right?"
No wonder he refused to get into the water during their last hot spring visit. He might have been too embarrassed.
Having roughhoused with Chu Chen as a child, and since most of the n in the K organization were n, Ji Mingqian was used to saying things without a filter and making these kinds of jokes. He naturally mistook Jiang Yisheng’s irritation for shyness.
"What nonsense are you spouting, Ji Mingqian? Can’t you just stop being so botherso?" Overwheld with irritation, Jiang Yisheng forgot about the towel on his head falling off, reached out to wrap his arm around Ji Mingqian’s neck, and put him in a chokehold.
"Cough cough."
Ji Mingqian coughed while laughing, "I’m being choked to death, can’t breathe."
"I apologize, I apologize. Alright now?"
Jiang Yisheng let go, huffing, "Get away from ."
Out of the corner of his eye, Ji Mingqian caught a glimpse of the person next to him getting up, his lips curled up in a mischievous smile, and he stealthily stretched out his leg.
Jiang Yisheng picked up the towel to wrap around his dripping hair, unaware of the extended leg, tripped, and started to fall forward.
A tightness clenched in Jiang Yisheng’s chest as his wrist was suddenly grabbed, and he was pulled backward.
Ji Mingqian shifted aside, and Jiang Yisheng fell to sit next to him, his waistband coming loose, and his clothes sliding from his left shoulder.
Looking up to see the victorious grin on Ji Mingqian’s face, Jiang Yisheng’s face flushed with anger, and he spoke with fury punctuating each word, "Ji, Ming, Qian."
Ji Mingqian sensed trouble and ran towards the inner room.
Jiang Yisheng stood up to chase after him, but suddenly thinking of sothing, he sat back down and stayed put.
Without pursuit coming from outside, Ji Mingqian’s eyes showed confusion, sensing sothing was off; he walked back out.
The hanging crystal chandelier refracted dazzling light, casting it upon the man’s chestnut hair.
Jiang Yisheng bent low, clutching the clothes at his chest, his handso face wrinkled in pain, his eyes reflecting distress.
Ji Mingqian was startled and rushed over quickly.
