Ji Mingqian shook his head, "No need."
The scent of the dicine oil was too overpowering, and he couldn’t stand it.
Jiang Yisheng withdrew his hand, leisurely massaging his forehead.
"Hungry?" Li Mochan looked down at her with lowered eyes and asked softly.
Ye Jiuliang humd in agreent, "I’ll go wash the veggies with you."
The two of them got up and headed to the kitchen, and suddenly, only the three of them were left in the living room.
Feng Yi, after washing his face, packed up the dicine box and turned to look at Ji Mingqian, "What kind of alcohol do you want to drink?"
"Anything’s fine," Ji Mingqian replied.
Feng Yi’s lips curved up, walking towards the liquor cabinet.
"Where’s the bathroom?" With ink still sared on his face, Ji Mingqian always felt uncomfortable.
Jiang Yisheng realized he was asking him and pointed, "Over there."
Ji Mingqian straightened his slightly ssy clothes and walked towards the bathroom.
A mont later, Jiang Yisheng stood up and headed upstairs.
The sound of running water started in the bathroom, and through the mirror, Jiang Yisheng smiled lightly at the sight of the little animal doodled on his face.
He bent over, cupping water in his hands to wash his face.
"Knock knock—"
A knock sounded from outside, he grabbed a dry towel next to him, wiping his face as he went out.
The door wasn’t closed, with Ji Mingqian leaning against the doorfra.
Jiang Yisheng paused slightly, "What is it?"
Ji Mingqian stated his purpose directly, "Li Mochan said the ga disc is with you."
Jiang Yisheng wiped his face, suddenly recalling how he and Ye Jiuliang had been defeated so badly in a ga a few days ago that he had been practicing his gaming skills ever since. All the ga discs had been taken by him.
"Hold on, I’ll get it for you."
He casually tossed the towel onto the sofa and turned around to find the discs for him.
Ji Mingqian glanced around his room, and the grand piano not far away caught his eye.
Suddenly rembering the phrase "musical prodigy" that Chen Xin often nagged in his ear, "Don’t you play the violin?"
Jiang Yisheng, carrying a bunch of ga discs, walked over, "I occasionally play the piano too; just for fun."
Ji Mingqian reached out to take the stack of ga discs and headed downstairs, "Dinner’s about ready; hurry down."
Jiang Yisheng lightly agreed with an "Okay."
Downstairs, the aroma of the hotpot base was already wafting through the air.
"Li Mochan, can’t you wash the veggies properly?" In the kitchen, Ye Jiuliang grabbed the hand causing mischief at her waist and said helplessly.
At this rate, they wouldn’t be able to eat hotpot until 8 o’clock.
Li Mochan lowered his head, "Grandma called, urging to take you back."
"Don’t change the subject. Hurry up and let go, soone might co in and see," Ye Jiuliang twisted his arm, urging him on.
"No one will co in."
As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Jiuliang felt a tingling in her earlobes.
Ignoring the running tap, she lifted her hand to cover her ear, glaring at him irritably, "Li Mochan, do you want to sleep in the study tonight?"
He was nibbling on her earlobe again.
She tolerated him way too much.
Li Mochan chuckled in a husky voice, stretching out his arm to embrace her once more, "If you’re willing to join in the study, I might consider it."
His warm, husky voice enveloped her. Even though she had heard it many tis, Ye Jiuliang still found his voice irresistibly pleasant to the ear.
"Dream on," Ye Jiuliang snorted lightly, but then, as if rembering sothing, the corners of her red lips curled up with a mischievous smile.
"I seem to rember soone once said I was too young, that studies were important, and there was no rush to date," she teased.
Li Mochan pressed his chin against her shoulder, his voice deep, "There’s actually another sentence after that."
She was all ears, "What’s that?"
"If the other half is , it’s no problem," Li Mochan said with righteous indignation.
Ye Jiuliang, "..."
Shaless.
"Tell , have you been coveting for a long ti?" She turned around to face him, her expression a mix of a smile and not quite a smile.
"Spill it."
Li Mochan’s arms were wrapped around her waist, his gaze deep as he looked at her, "Indeed, I’ve been coveting you for quite so ti."
She asked again, "When?"
"That ti you climbed onto my roof." He was sowhat uncertain.
Ye Jiuliang was surprised, "That early?"
The next second, he denied his own words, "No, it must have been during that ti in Beisen’s office when you wrote that fifty-nine-point test."
Ye Jiuliang, "..."
So, when was it exactly?
"No, it must have been that ti on the street when you gave the pellet drum," Li Mochan corrected himself again.
Ye Jiuliang couldn’t help laughing, "So, it was love at first sight for you?"
Li Mochan chuckled lowly, "So little rascal smiled at and even gave a pellet drum. When you think about it, it should be you who flirted with first."
Ye Jiuliang laughed and slapped his chest, "Nonsense, that was clearly a thank-you gift."
What did he an by her flirting with him? At that ti, she was clearly avoiding him and couldn’t get away fast enough.
"Can you two lovebirds stop flirting for a mont? We’re still waiting to have dinner," Feng Yi poked his head in from the doorway, teasing with a smile.
Li Mochan glanced at him, "Speak if you have sothing to say."
"Where’s the corkscrew?" he asked.
Li Mochan replied coldly, "In the drawer outside, find it yourself."
Feng Yi pouted and beat a hasty retreat.
Such a double-standard guy.
"No way, you must be a gaming black hole," Ji Mingqian almost spat out blood as he was killed instantly for the nth ti.
It’s not the god-like opponents one fears, but the pig-like teammates.
Jiang Yisheng gave an awkward smile, "I told you I can’t play, and you insisted on bringing along."
He wasn’t to bla for this.
Ji Mingqian, "..."
Even a gaming newbie should have gotten a bit better after so many rounds, besides, he had been coaching on the side.
"Mingqian, Asheng has always been weak at gaming since childhood. You should stop teaching him, to save yourself from frustration," Feng Yi, who had been through it all, spoke from experience.
Jiang Yisheng covered his face, feeling too embarrassed.
"Stop playing, help look for the corkscrew," Feng Yi said.
Ji Mingqian put down the ga controller and got up to help look.
"By the way, Mingqian, I heard from your agent that you turned down the endorsent from Feng Group because Asheng is one of the spokespersons?" Feng Yi turned around and suddenly asked.
As he spoke, silence fell around them.
Ji Mingqian almost forgot about this matter until it was ntioned.
He inwardly cursed Chen Xin the blabbermouth and hooked his lips, "No, I was just saying anything at the mont."
"Really?" Feng Yi glanced at Jiang Yisheng skeptically.
Ji Mingqian ruffled his slightly disheveled blonde hair, turned his eyes towards Jiang Yisheng, and said unhurriedly, "It’s unrelated to you. I’ve always declined endorsents. You know how my agent is your fan; she’s always going on about you to . She ntioned the endorsent, and I just made up an excuse on the spot."
Jiang Yisheng smiled faintly, "I didn’t say anything. Why the rush?"
Ji Mingqian, "..."
He just didn’t want to make the atmosphere awkward.
"Are you really not considering the endorsent?" Feng Yi, still not giving up, threw out the olive branch again, "Na your conditions. We’re friends now, right? Just think about it."
