Beihai was carefully considering his words on the side, not forcing any of the three wishes from Aladdin's Lamp at all. Instead, Beihai was actually making a wish *for* Aladdin in reverse.

"You shall possess wealth, you shall also et your other half. You are not permitted to do evil deeds, otherwise you will be sealed back into the lamp. Finally, you shall gain your freedom."

If you want to go find your other half, just head towards the desert region, you'll probably find plenty there.

A rather famous story is about three drunkards who encountered the very sa magic lamp a full three tis. Each person's wish was extrely abstract.

"I want wine, I want beautiful won, and finally, send

back ho."

Those were the first two people's wishes. The last person was a bit more ruthless. He wanted wine, still wanted wine, and finally, "Send those other two back here to keep

company."

The Genie was very confident and quickly snapped his fingers three tis, adding, "Your wish has been granted. Huh? Wait, no, hold on, what did you just say?"

Now the Genie's reaction ti had finally gotten back on track. He then instinctively stepped away from that broken lamp, then walked back and gave it a flying kick.

Discovering he wasn't being forcibly dragged back in, for a mont he couldn't find any words to express his feelings.

Standing in place for a long while, he finally blurted out a sentence.

"How is this possible? I'm... free?"

Freedom. Once, he had yearned for it beyond asure. He had drifted through this world for nearly a thousand years. Who knew what he had truly experienced? He, the Genie, had genuinely witnessed the rise and fall of an empire.

During this ti of drifting, he had also witnessed many characters. They always ca with purpose, with greed. But that was fine too. When the ti ca and he was free, he could easily take back everything he had given out, just depending on his mood.

But more often than not, he only managed to grant two wishes before that person would mysteriously vanish, or out of fear and their own greed, others would discover the treasure that was the Genie, then kill the original owner to obtain him.

Finally, during a pirate raid, he successfully fell into the water.

He could only shrink back into the lamp, waiting for the next destined person. But now, he had waited. The other party didn't want a princess, didn't want gold and silver treasures, didn't want to beco a great lord... they just let him go. It felt quite dreamlike.

The next second, the Genie vanished, appearing in the eastern part of the continent, then returned again. He had completed a journey spanning thousands of miles in the blink of an eye.

"I'm free. Then I'm leaving."

The Genie was still sowhat uneasy. He asked Beihai, seemingly wanting to hear the answer he desired from the other's mouth.

Unfortunately, he didn't get his wish. Beihai felt no ripples in his heart regarding this broken Genie's words.

"Go ahead. I'm not stopping you."

The Genie thought for a mont, then conjured up an Anywhere Door. He opened the door, then stepped out, half his body already through. Still uneasy, he craned his neck back, stretching it out.

"Then I'm really leaving. You're not going to try and persuade ? If I leave, no one will grant your wishes."

"I don't need it. What do I need? Right now, if I want money, I have money. If I want power, I have power."

"I can also give you authority."

"Uh, but I currently... probably don't need that either."

As Beihai said this, he took a few steps and arrived next to the Old Sea King. "Move over a bit," he said, then sat down on the seat symbolizing the Sea King's position. Beihai just sat right on it, leaving the Genie utterly dumbfounded.

Finally, the Genie conjured a small boat. Taking Beihai and Elsa with him, he began rowing the oars, preparing to leave from here.

After erging from the seabed, Elsa was amazed to discover her clothes weren't wet at all. Moreover, that seawater seed to have gained life.

The seawater, like pudding, ford very small waves that surged over, like a hand, or like a puppy's head. Then you could pet it, and it wouldn't even leave a single drop of water on the boat when it withdrew.

If you wanted a more vivid image, you'd have to ntion the story of a foolish chicken and the sea.

Beihai also hadn't expected that after all this fuss, this Genie would just end up following him, seemingly unwilling to give up until he achieved his goal.

However, after wasting so much ti, it was ti to go search for that old witch's location. Even after all this ti, he naturally hadn't forgotten about her.

This was, after all, his main quest. And it even had a ti limit. At best, everything he'd done so far could only be considered side quests.

Once he grinded these quests full, grinded out a set of divine gear, *then* he'd tackle the main quest. If you wanted to find soone, you had to go find so professionals suited for the job.

"Genie, I have a question. Do you know a Person-Finding Spell?"

The Genie had been waiting for Beihai to say this very thing. "Aha! I knew you had a wish you wanted to make! Quick, quick, quick, tell ! Who do you want to find? A beautiful princess? A pretty female warrior? Or a Sprite?"

"None of those. The one I want to find is an old witch."

"Oh, quite a unique taste you have. Then let

ask you, what are her characteristics? Any particularly obvious features?"

The Genie hadn't grasped the seriousness of the matter, but of course he had to ask for features. In this world, there were many features.

Usually, under such questioning, the answers would be things like, "She's as beautiful as a flower," or "She's as white as snow."

Beihai frowned, thinking hard for a long ti, then gave this reply. "She, uh... she's just... relatively old. Has wrinkles on her face. Wears a purple-black robe. And she's an old witch."

"Mhm. And then?"

"As for her figure... probably about... this tall." Beihai stood up and started gesturing with both hands. Then, with a completely serious face, he added, "The important thing is, she also has a relatively long Magic Wand. That's all the information I have."

"That's it?"

"That's it. As the saying goes, one shouldn't be too greedy."

"Wait, you're finding a person, and you're talking about greed? Also, what you've said is too vague. Which old witch these days *isn't* elderly in appearance? Who *doesn't* have a Magic Wand in their hand?"

"Like that, huh. As expected, it's useless. Can't even find a single person."
