As the celebration progressed, Beihai was being dragged around everywhere by the King.

So servants and guests wondered: "Who is that the King is holding hands with? Is he the King's favorite courtier?"

"You must be joking, that's a knight."

"Then I wonder which king's knight he is, to receive such a welco."

Soone imdiately chid in from the side,

"You're wrong again, he's a wandering knight who hasn't pledged allegiance to any king or prince yet."

"Oh, I see, this king must want to recruit this knight."

————

Setting aside the rumors, the King had already pulled Beihai by the hand to a dining table area.

This place was quite different from the previous areas that casually had so fruits and bread - here were arranged twelve golden plates. The King had previously told Beihai that he had invited witches,

aning this would be where the witches gathered, and also where the King and Queen would be seated.

Witches in this world were still too overpowered - they played both villains and heroes.

A simple spell was enough to manipulate an entire country, and anyone who received so guidance from them could soar to great heights and obtain magical artifacts.

It seed only the more mysterious Little Fairies could contend with them sowhat.

But the King himself admitted he had invited thirteen, yet there were only twelve plates here. If things got chaotic later, he could have his little pet swallow all these things.

Let's see what preparations the King would make.

The King invited Beihai to sit at the table with him, right beside the King himself. This admittedly made Beihai sowhat uncomfortable.

The Queen was standing nearby holding her child, yet Beihai was sitting beside the King.

Just as Beihai was feeling like sitting on pins and needles, the main doors suddenly swung open. The welcoming honor guard began blowing their trumpets, and marching down the red carpet to this music were thirteen witches.

The first twelve witches greeted the King after eting him, each offering their salutations. Only the last one remained gloomy-faced and said nothing.

The King imdiately stood up to welco them, responding to each one individually. Even when facing the thirteenth witch with her sour expression, he greeted her with a smiling face.

"There are only twelve golden plates on the table, yet I invited thirteen witches.

I cannot treat any of you disrespectfully, so I will offer my own plate to make thirteen plates total. I will use an ordinary plate like the kind knight here."

After saying this, the King placed his diamond-engraved plate at the thirteenth seat.

This was the King's solution - on one hand, he had indeed invited these witches to gain their recognition of his child and receive blessings.

However, among these witches were so with bad reputations whom the King didn't want to provoke. But if he invited all of them, it was inevitable that particular witch wouldn't develop so alternative thoughts.

The golden plates could highlight the witches' uniqueness and nobility, while the King offering his own plate could also express his respect.

Even in the mortal realm, what the King gave was far more important than re gold, let alone when personally gifted.

At the sa ti, the King also indicated he would use iron plates along with the knight, so the knight wouldn't feel slighted - after all, the King was using the sa grade of tableware as you.

This could also be seen as the King's apology and concession - I know we're short one plate, so I won't use such luxurious tableware either.

Looking at it this way, the King had really mastered social etiquette.

With this arrangent, surely there was no reason to pick a fight, right?

Beihai hadn't expected this either - it seed the ability to rule such a large country ca with so genuine skills.

The twelve witches saw nothing inappropriate and accepted with smiles, while the thirteenth witch also took the plate in hand, looking around left and right without speaking.

During the banquet, everyone chatted and laughed while Beihai just kept his head down eating, wondering when the explosion would happen so he could pull out the Golden Scale Dragon from his bosom and take the opportunity to plunder everything here.

During the feast, wine was poured and cups clinked, with all the guests laughing heartily.

Of course, the most important ritual couldn't be omitted - after all, the King had invited the witches specifically to bestow blessings upon his daughter.

Soon the first witch stepped forward.

First blessing: Captivating Beauty

Bestowing the princess with unparalleled beauty, making her the most captivating woman in the world.

Beihai had no reaction to this - re beauty was a normal blessing.

Second blessing: Exceptional Wisdom

The princess would gain extraordinary wisdom, able to discern people's hearts and understand worldly affairs.

Here things started feeling wrong. Beihai straightened his body - this was only the second blessing and it was already getting overpowered.

Third blessing: Gentle and Considerate

The princess would possess a gentle, water-like personality, skilled at listening and understanding others. Her gentleness would warm the hearts of those around her, making everyone willing to be close to her.

Fourth blessing: Courageous and Fearless

Though a princess, she would possess extraordinary courage. When facing difficulties and dangers, she could step forward to protect herself and loved ones.

Fifth blessing: Talented in All Arts

The princess would demonstrate exceptional talent in music, dance, painting, martial arts, and other artistic fields. Her talents would make her admired both inside and outside the court, becoming an idol in people's hearts.

Sixth blessing: She would fear neither water nor fire, neither bitter cold nor scorching heat.

By this point, Beihai's face had darkened. Was this for real? He shouldn't have co to listen.

How long would he have to struggle to gather all these abilities, yet this tiny infant was getting them directly? And what was this? Training Liu Huangshu?

Or was this so super weapon? Were they creating King Arthur or Joan of Arc?

But no matter what Beihai thought or how jealous he felt, the blessings continued.

Seventh blessing: Health and Longevity

The fairy wished the princess robust health and extended lifespan. She would be free from illness and disaster. All man-made or natural weapons in the world, whether sharp teeth or claws, would be unable to harm you.

Eighth blessing: Fulfilling Love

You would pursue your own love and happiness without any obstacles hindering you during this period. You would obtain your own love.

Ninth blessing: Turn Misfortune into Blessing

Just as the na suggests - turn misfortune into blessing. Despair would be impossible. Who knows, maybe a teor would fall from the sky during a fight.

Tenth blessing: Career Success

If the princess chose to pursue her career dreams, she would achieve success and accomplishnts. Her talents and efforts would be recognized, and she would achieve whatever she set her mind to.

Eleventh blessing: Everlasting Friendship

On life's journey, the princess would et many like-minded friends. They would support each other, grow together, and never abandon one another.

By the ti it reached the twelfth witch, she was sowhat unsure how to continue blessing.

Every wonderful thing in the human world had been bestowed upon the princess. Even having a goal would make it co true, with no difficulties whatsoever.

Well, that's it then - she genuinely didn't know how to bless further.

This wouldn't do - she couldn't lose face!

Beihai was truly envious. This wasn't Sleeping Beauty - this was practically a human-shaped tyrannosaurus!

When the youngest twelfth witch glanced at Beihai, she imdiately realized there was still one thing left unblessed.

"If the country faces crisis, if war is about to break out, then you, Princess, will lead armies to undefeated victory. No matter how chaotic the troops, they will regroup under your command..."

The twelfth witch had no choice - she couldn't very well bless about guardian knights. That's what princes were for, plus there was actually a knight right here!

If not for the chair, Beihai would have collapsed to the ground. Were they even pretending anymore?

Damn it, he was so jealous! For the first ti, he felt his system was so useless. With these twelve blessings on him, he would be unstoppable!
