When Angela reached her house, Derek was already waiting outside for them.
As soon as Angela stopped the car, Derek rushed to the car and opened the backseat door.
"What happened to him?", Derek asked as he placed his head on Das' face.
"He is just sleeping."
"But what happened?"
"I don't know. Sam said it just happened"
Derek sighed as he opened the front door.
Angela got out of the car and kissed Derek.
"I was so worried", said Angela.
"Well," Derek glanced at Das and said, "This is not the first ti this has happened. But he hadn't had any episodes lately."
"Must be because we sent him to school."
Derek carried Das out of the car, and both Angela and Derek walked upstairs to Das' room.
After laying down Das on his bed, Derek said, "I will be downstairs. I was in the middle of an important eting. Hopefully, I can resu it."
"You shouldn't have co here if you were busy, you know?"
"How could I not co? You were freaking out on the phone."
Angela closed the door on Derek's face and said, "Go now."
Angela sat on the bed beside Das, thinking about various stuff about Das.
After around forty minutes, Das opened his eyes.
Angela told him to rest and went downstairs to make dinner.
When She went downstairs, Derek was done with his eting.
"How did it go?"
"We just got one thousand new branches."
"Isn't that away too much? How much will you need to invest?"
"It's all over the world, and the other main branches under us will take care of everything."
"But still how much investnt on one branch?"
"Around one million Kirs."
"That's one billion for one thousand branches."
"Yeah" Derek sighed and said, "Would be a bumr if the project fails."
Angela rested her head on Derek's shoulder and said, "Show the draft and the blueprints."
Derek closed the lid of his laptop and picked up the tablet lying beside it.
He gave it to Angela, and she started analyzing all the data.
She was checking everything thoroughly, making sure she doesn't miss anything.
It took her twenty minutes to analyze everything."
"How is it?" asked Derek.
"It's perfect", Angela replied in a monotone voice.
"Right?"
"It's so perfect that it almost looks unreal", Angela said again with the sa monotonous tone.
"What are you trying to say?"
"There is no way sothing this perfect exists. There has to be sothing wrong."
"I tried to find any loop, but I couldn't find one."
"Have you made any deals with this company before?"
Derek slightly nodded and said, "We have, but all those deals were small ones."
"Hmm," Angela pondered and said, "Ask this company to invest fifty percent as well."
"But if we do that, then we will lose our rights on the project."
"How about forty-nine percent?"
Derek stayed silent and didn't say anything for quite a while.
Angela was waiting for a reply from Derek, but she didn't get any.
Angela sighed and said, "It's your company. You have to decide it by yourself. I was just trying to suggest an idea so that no problems arise in the future."
Derek let out a chuckle and said, "You are so quick to sulk."
"I am not sulking."
Derek grinned as he hugged Angela and said, "You are the best."
Angela was giving a lap pillow to Derek while caressing his forehead.
"Is Das okay now?" asked Derek.
"He woke up a while ago, but now he must be sleeping."
"Did he say anything about how he passed out?"
"I did, but he said he doesn't rember."
Angela stopped moving her hand as Derek stared into Angela's eyes and said, "Is the sa thing happening again?"
"I don't know, but I think I know the reason why this happened."
"Why?"
"He t Elena so months ago."
"Lucas' Daughter?"
"Don't take his na when we are about to have dinner. It will ruin the taste."
"So he is still hated by you, huh?"
"What else? There is no way I will ever forgive him in my life."
"It's been nearly forty-year, and he still must be regretting pulling a prank on you."
"He should be grateful that he is still alive."
Derek turned around and said, "I know you don't really an that"
"I am serious."
"So? What about his daughter?"
"Nothing. I just think maybe that's the reason."
"You an, he t her again and now--"
"I just think that"
"That might be true."
"Maybe I shouldn't let her et him from now on?"
"You will threaten her?"
"What if we just don't let Das go to school?"
"He will get angry, you know? He is finally starting to have a normal life."
"But it's dangerous for him."
"More dangers are yet to co", Derek said in a solemn voice.
"Do you regret marrying ?", asked Angela.
"Why would I regret that?"
"If you had married soone else, you would have a normal life."
"I stopped having a normal life since the first ti you spoke my na that day."
"We can't have a normal life, but I want Das to have a normal life", said Angela.
"We both know it's impossible."
"What if I told you that there is a way to make it possible?"
Derek turned back and questioned, "What do you an?"
"If he doesn't succeed the throne, then he can stay hidden from all those dangers."
"Your father will not approve of this."
"Doesn't matter. I am the queen in charge right now."
"If Das doesn't succeed the throne, then soone from the side family will claim it."
"Doesn't matter. At least our Das will be safe."
"And you are ready to put the lives of others to be in danger to save our kid?"
"I may be a well-known queen famous from her charities, but I can be selfish when it cos to my child."
Derek sat up and said, "Every mother is selfish when it cos to their child."
"So, what do you think we should do?"
"I won't say anything on this matter."
"Oh, co on!"
Derek stood up as he grunted and said, "You know I promised myself to never interfere in these types of royal matters."
Angela's face twitched as she said, "Fine then."
She folded her hands and said, "I will make all decisions, and when I do that, don't co stopping ."
"I will co when I think what you are doing is wrong."
"..." Angela was staring intensely at Derek.
"Angela," Derek hugged Angela and said, "We have made many mistakes in our life, together. ANd we have regretted it together. But Das is not our mistake, I am proud of him, and you should be proud of him too."
"I am proud of him, but whenever I think of sothing bad happening to him, I can't rest easy."
"You father worried about the sa thing for you, and what you always did?"
Angela looked down and said nothing.
"You disrespected him and always yelled at him for being overly protective and creep."
"But I don't anymore, right?"
"If you think you are the only one who worries about him, then you are wrong. I am worried about him too. Maybe there is soone out there, who is more worried about him than we are right now."
After taking a deep breath, "Alright, I have decided."
Derek furrowed his eyebrows and said, "What?"
"I will send him overseas to the Lunar Kingdom."
"Are you being serious, Angela?"
"I am one hundred percent serious. That's the only kingdom we have had a good relationship with. And my cousin is married there, so we don't have to worry about anything."
"I can't believe you are going that far."
"That's the only way he will be safe. Think about it, Derek. He will go to the university there, live a normal life and grow up. No one will ever know he was the heir."
"And what about us?"
"Huh?" Angela's eyes widened.
"Considering how overprotective you are, do you believe you would be able to live a day without him?"
After the realization, she sat on the sofa and started sweating.
"See? You didn't even think about it."
She puffed her cheeks a little and looked to the other side.
"And she is back to sulking", Derek comnted with a grin.
"Shut up!"
Angela stood up and walked to the kitchen.
"What, you are making dinner now?", questioned Derek.
"What else? You don't want to eat?"
"Maybe we should order so food today? You too exhausted and stuff happened too"
Angela looked back at Derek as she squinted her eyes and said, "You just want to eat hotels' food, don't you?"
"What nonsense are you talking about? My wife's food can't even compare to the hotels' food."
"Good. Now go take a shower."
"Co with ."
"I am making food."
"Maybe we should order from outside today?"
Angela shot a glare at Derek from the corner of her eye as she picked up the knife and said, "Did you say sothing?"
"Nothing. I was just wondering about having a hot bath today."
After around twenty minutes, Derek ca out of the bathroom and resud his office work.
anwhile, Angela was almost done cooking the dinner.
"Derek!"
"Hmm?"
"Can you go call Das?"
"Hmm, sure."
Derek got up and walked so stairs then said, "What if he is sleeping?"
"Try to wake him up, and if he still doesn't wake up, then co back."
"Alright"
Derek went upstairs to Das' room to wake him up.
anwhile, Angela was setting up the table.
'Elena. Huh?'
Angela took out her phone and opened her contact list.
She swiped down and stopped at Rebecca' contact.
"Should I give her a call?"
Angela was still uncertain of what she should do about Elena.
"He is up. He said he would be here in a minute", Derek said as she walked down the stairs.
"Hmm"
Angela put her phone on the table with Rebecca's contact still open on her screen.
