This is related to the chapter, so I thought it would be best to tell as this chapter is focused on the past.
Elena's grandfather, Caleb Huer, found a small girl (who was about 4 years old) in his car.

Assuming she didn't have a na, Layla nad her Daulla.
Daulla and Angela beca great friends. They were like sisters.
Theodore was happy to see his daughter happy, and Layla was happy to see one more daughter.
Theodore trained both Daulla and Angela on how to fight.
Both Daulla and Angela went to school together, Daulla acting as her bodyguard.
Later, Daulla retired from her job as a bodyguard and beca a head maid of the palace.
