But when it ca to him explaining, he couldn’t quite articulate it.

After a long while, he finally asked, "Shall we go for a walk?"

"I’ll go to the restroom first."

Yu Zexiao nodded, watching her head toward the restroom. Alone, he wandered around, and suddenly, he saw sothing.

He pushed the door open and entered. The salesperson here was also Chinese and greeted him with a smile: "Welco! May I help you with sothing? A necklace, a bracelet, or a ring?"

This was a jewelry center in the shopping mall. Seeing the display here, sothing suddenly struck him!

Indeed, getting married isn’t just about getting a marriage certificate. What about a romantic proposal? A massive diamond ring? A sweet honeymoon? And a huge wedding photo?

It seed... he had forgotten all about these things!

Not only had he forgotten, but even Jian Anning had never ntioned how many carats of diamond ring she wanted, or which country she wanted for their honeymoon. Even agreeing to marry him seed to be a natural progression, skipping the hard process of proposal entirely.

Whenever the two of them t, besides work, they were just all over each other. Besides the slightly tough ti pursuing her when they were dating, everything else had gone so smoothly that he completely forgot about these things!

He thought for a mont, "Do you have engagent rings for marriage here?"

The salesperson smiled, "This way, please." As she led him to a counter, she asked a question that completely stumped him, "May I ask, what size is your fiancée’s finger?"

"I..." Yu Zexiao was taken aback; he had no idea! The only thing about her he could easily say out loud was probably her three asurents — which he asured so often he could say them with his eyes closed!

"It’s okay if you don’t know. We can adjust it afterward here." The salesperson smiled, "You can select a style here first."

Yu Zexiao looked down at the display of rings. He didn’t know how to appreciate them, only aware that if he was buying for Jian Anning, he must pick the biggest, most expensive, and most beautiful one!

Yet, after a quick glance at the display, the most expensive ones were only around twenty thousand Canadian Dollars, not quite matching the standard he had in mind.

He shook his head, but the salesperson was not discouraged. She said, "We also have necklaces and bracelets here. If you can’t decide on a ring, you can look at these; they’re selling well too."

Yu Zexiao, sowhat absent-mindedly, followed her over. As they walked, the salesperson said, "When n give won items like necklaces or rings, they hope to capture their hearts. Like putting a collar on a pet to mark ownership. But rings have more significant aning, while necklaces and bracelets are a bit more casual."

"Really?" Yu Zexiao got interested and followed her to the bracelet section. The salesperson introduced a few of the store’s flagship models, but Yu Zexiao seed a bit disinterested.

Unintentionally, he noticed a necklace displayed in the center showcase of the hall, "What’s that...?"

It was a gemstone necklace. A ruby the size of a fingernail had been completely crafted into the shape of a heart, inlaid within a large platinum heart, looking as if two hearts were tightly close together.

"That one is called ’Hearts in Harmony’."
