335: Chapter 335: The Goddess Mu Wants to Practice Yoga
Saturday morning, at the Purple Garden Pavilion villa, in the study.
“Lin Fei, can you please stay away from ?!”
After enjoying the breakfast made with love by Lin Fei, Mu Shanshan wanted to have a heart-to-heart chat with Aunt Lan in the living room.
However, Aunt Lan seed more interested in Lin Fei, who had woken up early to cook.
She exchanged a few perfunctory words with Mu Shanshan, then took the initiative to find Lin Fei for a chat.
Mu Shanshan didn’t know what they discussed.
In any case, after the chat, Aunt Lan went for a dical checkup, and Lin Fei unusually stayed behind in the villa.
If he stayed, so be it.
Mu Shanshan wasn’t too bothered by it.
Although, deep down, she was still irked by Lin Fei.
However, since they were married and had registered for a marriage certificate, it didn’t seem right to actually kick Lin Fei out of the house.
In fact, Mu Shanshan, as his wife, would much rather have Lin Fei stay at ho during the day than running around and getting into mischief.
If Lin Fei were to peacefully stay at ho, of course, Mu Shanshan, the CEO, would be more satisfied.
But Lin Fei seed to have a screw loose, constantly pestering her after chatting with Aunt Lan.
He didn’t get physical with her, but he made it impossible for her to concentrate on her work.
If she hadn’t been sure that Lin Fei would probably run off to who knows where the mont he left the house, Mu Shanshan would have been tempted to kick him out of the villa.
“This is my ho; I can stay wherever I want.
When we got married, I don’t recall dad saying I wasn’t allowed in the study.”
Lin Fei countered Mu Shanshan’s eviction attempt with his habitually irrefutable argunt.
She had no way to rebuke him, after all, he was her husband.
In his own ho, it’s only natural for a husband to be close to his wife.
Of course, this annoyingly persistent attention wasn’t because Lin Fei wanted to drag Mu Shanshan to the bedroom to do sothing.
Even though Lin Fei always wanted to make substantial progress with Mu Shanshan, his CEO wife.
Given her icy deanor, it was unlikely she would fall for Lin Fei any ti soon.
Knowing how difficult it would be to win over his CEO wife through persistent attention, that did not stop Lin Fei from wanting to be close to her.
The truth was, this sudden clinginess wasn’t just about taking Mu Shanshan to bed.
It was more because the chat with Aunt Lan had enlightened him that if he wanted to truly nd his marital relationship with Mu Shanshan, smooth talk and occasional flirting just wouldn’t cut it.
Indeed, his talk with Aunt Lan made it clear to him that what Mu Shanshan, the financially powerful CEO wife, needed most wasn’t material enjoynt or sweet nothing, but the most comforting companionship.
So, Lin Fei thickened his skin and made himself stick close to Mu Shanshan.
Well, perhaps Lin Fei’s approach was a bit problematic.
However, after his chat with Aunt Lan regarding his marital relationship with Mu Shanshan.
Lin Fei knew that if he wanted to open his CEO wife’s heart, he needed to invest ti in it!
In other words, if he wanted to get intimate with his CEO wife in bed, he had to start from integrating himself into Mu Shanshan’s personal life, bit by bit.
That way, Mu Shanshan would truly feel his presence as her husband, and eventually accept him, becoming inseparable from him.
This could possibly end their overly complicated marriage and allow them to flourish.
It must be said that, with Aunt Lan’s guidance, Lin Fei’s intentions and plans were quite sound.
The problem was, Mu Shanshan was unaware.
“Lin Fei, I want so peace and quiet alone, please leave!”
Not understanding what Lin Fei was thinking and assuming he was trying to take advantage of her in various ways, Mu Shanshan, already having a bone to pick with Lin Fei, was naturally unwilling to show any kindness towards him.
“Who’s Qing Qing?!
Mu Shanshan, make yourself clear.
Are you seeing another man behind my back?!”
Oh God, strike this bastard dead with lightning!
Watching Lin Fei’s stern chastising with such earnestness, Mu Shanshan felt a sincere sense of powerlessness from the bottom of her heart.
Mu Shanshan well knew about her nominal husband’s shaless nature, but she clearly had not expected that a simple, utterly commonplace phrase to bid farewell to a guest could be refuted so self-righteously by Lin Fei.
With Lin Fei’s acting skills that could rival an Emperor Level actor, had soone pushed the door open at that mont, they might have actually believed Lin Fei.
They’d think that she, President Mu, really had done sothing to wrong Lin Fei.
Looking for a man?
Mu Shanshan could only scoff.
Such words could be spoken so easily, yet she had not even confronted Lin Fei about his affairs behind her back.
And here was Lin Fei, her cheap husband, actually turning the tables on her.
It was infuriating; if she hadn’t been so sure that she’d be no match for Lin Fei in a fight, Mu Shanshan might have had the urge to kick her husband to death.
…
“Wife, since you don’t have much to do at ho, why don’t we go out for a walk?”
“No!”
Mu Shanshan rejected Lin Fei’s suggestion to go out together, very decisively and coldly.
True, she was sowhat helplessly sitting on the living room sofa watching TV, but all of this was forced upon her by Lin Fei.
With Lin Fei always by her side, even if she wanted to do sothing, it wasn’t possible.
Although she wasn’t completely against going out with her cheap husband Lin Fei, her experience from their first date—when Lin Fei made her dine and dash and watch a horror movie—made her quite reluctant to go out under Lin Fei’s arrangents.
“Mu Shanshan, I’m warning you, don’t push your luck.
You either go out with
obediently today, or—I’ll have to enforce the house rules!”
“You dare?!”
“Try rejecting
once more and see!”
Rarely taking Aunty Lan’s advice to devote most of his ti to improving relations with his wife Mu Shanshan, Lin Fei found himself continuously receiving cold treatnt from her.
Already short on patience, Lin Fei was becoming increasingly agitated.
It’s just a date, not a call to roll between the sheets; all this hesitance and obstruction was so typical of President Mu, his wife.
If it were any other woman, Lin Fei wouldn’t be wasting his breath like this; his hand would have already done the talking.
Under Lin Fei’s intense gaze, Mu Shanshan couldn’t help but recall certain images of her being bullied by Lin Fei.
Rembering that only she and Lin Fei were in the Purple Garden Pavilion, she felt extrely annoyed but dared not truly rebuke him.
The woman imdiately stood up and walked briskly upstairs.
“Where are you going?!”
“Changing my clothes, going to do yoga.”
She definitely couldn’t stay at ho anymore, but clearly, Mu Shanshan didn’t want to be led by the nose by Lin Fei.
She could go out, sure, but where to go and what to do would be up to her…
