200: Chapter 200: The Goddess Mu Buys Lingerie for Lin Fei (Part 2)

Zhonghai, Huai Road Business Street.

Among the well-known comrcial streets of Zhonghai, on Huai Road Business Street, it is no exaggeration to say that as long as you have money, you can buy anything you desire.

Compared to other comrcial streets in Zhonghai, Huai Road Business Street represents more of a taste, or to be more precise, a status.

At four in the afternoon, Mu Shanshan’s BMW 7 Series pulled up here.

After skillfully finding a parking spot and parking her car, Mu Shanshan, with her exquisite and perfect features now hidden behind a large pair of tea-colored sunglasses, stepped out of the car door.

Although Mu Shanshan had lost count of how many tis she had been to Huai Road Business Street, it was undeniable that this ti was the most reluctant visit for President Mu.

Shopping is a woman’s nature, and it is rare to find a woman who doesn’t enjoy shopping, especially on comrcial streets.

Naturally reserved, Mu Shanshan wasn’t as crazily obsessed with shopping as other won, but she certainly wouldn’t say she disliked it.

However, this visit to Huai Road Business Street was undoubtedly the most disagreeable one for President Mu.

The reason was simple, this ti President Mu wasn’t here to buy clothes for herself.

Instead, she was shopping for her near-deadbeat husband, who had almost infuriated her to death.

If it were just one or two suits, President Mu would not be so unwilling.

After all, they had been married for so ti, and although the marital relations could not be described as particularly harmonious, at least President Mu had grown to dislike Lin Fei less since the beginning of their marriage.

Buying one or two pieces of clothing for Lin Fei, this bargain husband, was not entirely unacceptable to Mu Shanshan.

The problem was that this trip for President Mu wasn’t just about buying Lin Fei outerwear like suits and casual clothes; it was also about buying underwear for that unscrupulous husband.

Clearly, running alone to a n’s underwear store to buy underwear for Lin Fei was not an easy task for President Mu, who was often aloof and only marginally more emotional than a blank piece of paper.

Yet, buying clothes for Lin Fei was a task that Mu Shanshan had to complete.

Not only because Lin Fei was currently hiding in her office in his bare buttocks playing computer gas but also because Lin Fei had repeatedly called her an incompetent CEO wife in the office.

Though Lin Fei ant no malice, his words were poignant for Mu Shanshan and had struck her sensitive side as a woman to a certain extent.

Although Mu Shanshan wasn’t quite ready to truly beco Lin Fei’s wife, this didn’t prevent her from trying to prove to Lin Fei, in certain matters, that she, President Mu, could indeed be a competent wife.

The fact that Lin Fei could affect the emotions of the usually high-and-mighty President Mu to such an extent was a testant to his significant influence.

Usually, Lin Fei would affectionately refer to Mu Shanshan as ‘wife’ in private, and though she was not particularly moved by this, it was undeniable that, in a way, it had a subtle impact on Mu Shanshan.

Under Lin Fei’s constant endearnts of ‘wife’, Mu Shanshan had sowhat been drawn into playing the role of a wife.

“You can do it!”

In front of a high-end n’s brand clothing store, after hesitating for a long ti, Mu Shanshan silently cheered herself, straightened her large tea-colored sunglasses, and confidently walked into the store.

The word ‘high-end’ ans quality and taste, which often also implies fewer custors.

The high-end n’s brand clothing store Mu Shanshan entered, aside from the store attendants, had only five or six custors similar to President Mu.

The lack of people ant a lack of atmosphere, but, to a certain extent, it also slightly alleviated the nervousness that Mu Shanshan hadn’t felt for many years.

There were already few custors in the store and with Mu, the CEO’s stunning beauty, even behind a large pair of tinted sunglasses, it was difficult to go unnoticed.

Therefore, not long after Mu Shanshan entered the store, a sales associate approached her.

“Hello, miss, may I ask what kind of clothes you’re looking for?”

“All of them.”

That cool, ethereal tone of Mu Shanshan’s clearly caused the sales associate to lose focus for a mont.

“Alright, please follow .”

Thankfully, the sales associate quickly regained composure and made a welcoming gesture to Mu Shanshan.

“Miss, you must be choosing clothes for your boyfriend.

I’m so envious—”

“No.”

Mu Shanshan cut off the sales associate’s casual inquiry with a cold voice, and then, as if she noticed the surprised look on the associate’s face, the CEO rarely added, “It’s for my husband.”

The last two words from the CEO were almost whispered, but luckily, the store was quiet with few people around, and the sales associate managed to catch them clearly.

Although surprised at how Mu Shanshan’s voice suddenly softened when ntioning her own husband, the sales associate promptly apologized, “I am so sorry, I saw you weren’t wearing a ring and thought you weren’t married yet.

Please forgive my indiscretion.”

Mu Shanshan did not delve into the matter, not only because of the sales associate’s sincere apology, but because the complex nature of her marriage to Lin Fei was not sothing she wished to elaborate on with outsiders.

Even she was sowhat unclear as to why, when she uttered the words “my husband,” there was a certain emotional fluctuation in her heart.

Though the sales associate was curious about Mu Shanshan’s tone, it did not stop her from continuing to fulfill her duty, introducing the clothing in the store to Mu Shanshan.

It wasn’t long before the sales associate had no ti to be surprised by the sudden change in Mu Shanshan’s tone when she ntioned her husband.

She was astounded by Mu Shanshan’s generous shopping approach.

“Miss, based on the size you’ve provided, these are all the styles I can find for you in our store—”

“Wrap them all up for .”

“Ah—”

“What, is there a problem?!”

“No, no problem.

I’ll, I’ll wrap them for you.”

Mu Shanshan had never bought clothes for a man before, so she wasn’t sure what styles or colors would suit Lin Fei.

However, this clearly wasn’t an issue for Mu Shanshan.

For the wealthy CEO Mu, her choice was to buy everything!

“I’m sorry, miss, but without sizes provided, I can’t make recomndations for you.

I would suggest, perhaps, you could call your husband and ask.”

With sizes provided by Lin Fei for suits and casual wear, Mu Shanshan simply had to follow the instructions and use her card.

However, when it ca to buying underwear and being unable to provide Lin Fei’s sizes, the CEO Mu was evidently a bit troubled.
