Lin Fei chuckled but said nothing further. Bai Qi’s comprehension was comndable; he had quickly understood Lin Fei’s aning, praise-worthy. Hopefully, he could stick to his convictions and not beco a lifelong deserter, as being a deserter would never lead to success.
After Bai Qi left, Lin Fei also prepared to depart. Staying there longer had no purpose for him. He had spent a day making courteous small talk with Bai Jingqi, and Lin Fei didn’t intend to waste more ti. He rose to his feet and said, "Old Bai Family Head, it’s getting late. I should be on my way."
