Chapter 1045: Chapter 1047: Keke Wants to Go to the Oceanarium
"Keke, you need to listen to your teachers at school and don’t get into fights with other kids," Lin Fei said.
"Okay, Dad. Why do you sound just like Mom?" Keke tilted her head and asked curiously.
"That’s called having a telepathic connection. Off you go to school, Keke," Lin Fei said, playfully tweaking Keke’s small nose.
"Goodbye, Daddy!" After speaking, Keke turned and ran towards Aunt Lan in the distance, waving repeatedly to Lin Fei.
After bidding farewell to Keke, Lin Fei selected a car from Mu Shanshan’s garage and drove to Mu Shanshan’s company, Mu Group.
Since Lin Fei was planning to leave, he decided to visit so old friends and bought a carload of snacks. Even though those beautiful ladies feared gaining weight, their resistance to snacks was practically nonexistent.
At this ti, at Keke’s school, Aunt Lan watched from afar as Keke played with a group of friends. However, kids always tire of gas eventually, playing on the slides for a while before getting bored and fighting to play on the seesaws, finally discussing their parents.
One child, with snot hanging from his nose, said, "My dad is really nice to . Whenever I want a toy car, he buys it for
right away."
Another girl with ponytail braids laughed and said, "My mom braids my hair every morning. Look, these braids were done by her."
At this point, a cool-dressed boy showed a proud expression and said, "What’s that? Have you ever been to the Oceanarium? My family owns one, isn’t that aweso?"
"Wow! Lele, your family owns an Oceanarium? That’s impressive!" a child exclaid in admiration, "I’ve only been once, and it was beautiful."
"I’ve been too," the ponytailed girl said, "I love the dolphins. Their singing is so pleasant."
The snot-nosed boy chuckled and said, "My parents often take
to the Oceanarium. I’ve even fed the dolphins there."
Then the boy whose family owns the Oceanarium, Lele, looked at Keke and asked, "Keke, why aren’t you talking? Haven’t you been to the Oceanarium?"
Keke didn’t answer, folding her hands and fiddling with her fingers.
"Haha, Keke hasn’t been to the Oceanarium. Her parents don’t love her and never took her there," the snot-nosed boy sneered, pointing at Keke.
"That’s not true! My parents love
a lot! They’ve bought
lots of nice things and said they’ll make
tasty food tonight!" Keke retorted.
The ponytailed girl added, "You say your parents love you, then why haven’t they taken you to the Oceanarium? Not going ans they don’t love you."
"You’re talking nonsense!" Keke said angrily, but still insisted, "My parents love
very much."
Children’s minds are pure, and their competitiveness very straightforward. They want to prove their parents love them more, so they claim others’ parents don’t love them.
The boy whose family owns the Oceanarium pointed at Keke and said, "Keke, your parents haven’t taken you to the Oceanarium probably because they don’t have money. That’s what my dad says."
"Your dad is lying! My mom has lots of money!" Keke pouted in protest.
"You’re the one lying! If your parents have money, why haven’t they taken you to the Oceanarium? It must be because they don’t have money. My dad says that parents who don’t take their kids to the Oceanarium don’t have money."
"My mom has money!" Keke argued loudly, and Aunt Lan, hearing this, imdiately walked towards the play area.
"If they have money and still don’t take you, it ans they don’t love you. Keke’s parents don’t love her!" the boy nad Lele shouted.
Imdiately, other children began to jeer, repeatedly saying Keke’s parents didn’t love her because they hadn’t taken her to the Oceanarium, which almost drove Keke to tears.
"Keke! What’s wrong, Keke?" Aunt Lan quickly ca forward to comfort her.
"I want my mommy and daddy! I want to go to the Oceanarium! I want my mommy and daddy!" Keke cried out.
"Keke, how about we go find your parents after school? Let’s have them take you to the Oceanarium, okay?" Aunt Lan soothed.
"No, I want my mommy and daddy now! I want to go to the Oceanarium now," Keke cried and fussed.
"Crybaby Keke, her parents don’t love her and won’t take her to the Oceanarium," the other kids continued to jeer, laughing.
Keke cried even harder, with intense coughing, making Aunt Lan very worried. She quickly picked Keke up and comforted her, "Keke, don’t cry. I’ll take you to find your parents right now, okay?"
"I want to go to the Oceanarium, I want my mommy! Boo hoo!" Keke cried loudly.
Aunt Lan hurriedly took Keke into the car and headed ho, simultaneously calling Mu Shanshan. But Mu Shanshan’s phone was turned off. Aunt Lan understood that Mu Shanshan had a habit of turning off her phone during important etings, so she had no choice but to call Lin Fei.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently on another call. Please try again later..."
Lin Fei’s phone was busy too, so Aunt Lan drove straight to Mu Shanshan’s company, knowing Lin Fei often disappears to places unknown. Rather than going ho, it was easier to find them at Mu Shanshan’s company.
At this mont, Lin Fei was calling Ling Weiwei, "Weiwei Minister, let everyone know I’m coming to the company to give out gifts. Don’t miss out, because once they’re gone, they’re gone."
"Oh, Vice Minister Lin, you haven’t been to the company in so long, and you still rember us sisters?" Ling Weiwei replied, sounding displeased.
"Hehe, it’s because of so family matters. Otherwise, how could I not co to see you all? Even if it’s just to feast my eyes, I would co, right?" Lin Fei chuckled.
"Enough flattery! Hurry up and co. Rember, if the gifts are too cheap, we’ll be disappointed."
Lin Fei sighed and said, "I’ve spent tens of thousands on these gifts for you all. They’re all high-end stuff."
"Wow! You’re just boasting. There’s no way the boss would give you that much pocket money and let you have the chance to indulge," Ling Weiwei teased.
Ling Weiwei already knew of Lin Fei and Mu Shanshan’s relationship, initially surprised, but after discussing dealing with the Princess from abroad with Mu Shanshan, she learned to take it in stride. Besides, Lin Fei hadn’t visited the company, leaving Ling Weiwei without a chance to catch up with him.
