Chapter 1009: Chapter 1011: News from the Radar

Lin Fei brought Keke, who was still sobbing, to the hospital. After checking, the final result was that besides Keke’s cartilage contusion and so superficial injuries, there was nothing else serious.

This made Lin Fei breathe a sigh of relief, otherwise, he really wouldn’t know how to explain to Mu Shanshan. Mu Shanshan’s affection for Keke was even more protective than his own, and this slight injury would probably earn him cold looks from Mu Shanshan back at ho.

“Boss, how is it?” Butcher and Xue Zhi rushed in at that mont and imdiately asked.

Keke is Little Tiger’s daughter. Since Little Tiger left, they treated her as their own daughter, caring for her deeply. Seeing Keke injured made them also feel distressed.

Seeing the concerned looks of his two brothers, Lin Fei understood that feeling. He said, “It’s nothing serious, just a cartilage contusion and a few superficial wounds. The doctor said she would recover soon.”

Upon hearing this, Butcher and Xue Zhi simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief. Then Butcher angrily said, “Those guys all had their arms broken by us already. They dare to harm Keke like this; if we weren’t in Mo Country, I’d have killed them.”

“Alright, enough, this is Mo Country, not abroad. We need to keep a low profile and not alarm the Mo Country officials.” Lin Fei said. If not for these considerations, Lin Fei was sure he would have taken action to eliminate those bastards already.

Looking at the crowd around him, surprised faces everywhere, Lin Fei knew that a hospital wasn’t the right place to discuss these things. So, he led Butcher and Xue Zhi outside. However, it seed Lin Fei was truly fatefully connected to those people. As they walked to the hospital entrance, they saw several middle-aged n holding their arms walk into the hospital.

Those middle-aged n naturally saw Lin Fei and his companions too, but they dared not make a sound. The police had asked who attacked them, but they dared not na anyone. Otherwise, based on what they had heard from Lin Fei and his companions, things could have been worse for them.

Though they were thug-like hooligans, they knew whom to ss with and whom to avoid. Lin Fei and his small group, despite their numbers, had an undeniable fierce reputation that was beyond what they could handle.

If it were them, after defeating an opponent, they would never go so far as to break each individual arm. The kind of pain they experienced this ti would likely be unforgettable for life.

“Hmph! This ti, you’re lucky to just lose your arms. If we weren’t in Mo Country, you’d have been sent to Hell already.” Butcher said coldly.

The few quickly quickened their pace into the hospital; these two killing gods were not to be ssed with.

Keke, after getting injured and crying for a while, seed exhausted and then fell asleep leaning on Lin Fei.

“Boss, how are you going to explain this to sister-in-law later?” Xue Zhi couldn’t help but ask worriedly.

“Explain? Explain what? Do I need to explain anything to her? Ridiculous.” Lin Fei said arrogantly, although in his heart, he was pondering this exact issue. Still, he felt the need to maintain so pride in front of his brothers.

Butcher and Xue Zhi exchanged a glance, both looking incredulous. Lin Fei’s status at ho was evident; it was simply humiliating, but his brothers pretended not to know out of respect for his face.

Returning ho, Lin Fei sent Keke to his room to let her have a good sleep.

Mu Shanshan finally returned in the afternoon. The first thing she did was look for Keke, bringing a lot of treats and fun toys. Her affection for Keke was evident to all.

“Where’s Keke, Lin Fei?” Mu Shanshan asked. At this ti, Keke should not have been asleep yet.

“Shanshan, I have sothing to tell you.”

Lin Fei recounted what happened at the amusent park. Watching Mu Shanshan’s face grow colder, Lin Fei felt helpless. He didn’t want this either; he was distressed when Keke got hurt, but what had happened couldn’t be undone.

Mu Shanshan glared at Lin Fei, then snorted coldly, saying, “Lin Fei! You’ve really disappointed . You can’t even protect Keke. Are you even a qualified father?”

Lin Fei was rendered speechless by Mu Shanshan’s reprimand. Moreover, he knew that now was not the ti to retort. The situation was indeed his fault; he hadn’t been by Keke’s side to protect her, otherwise, this might not have happened.

“Sister-in-law, big brother he…”

“You all be quiet. Keke is just a child and doesn’t know how to protect herself. You should have taken good care of her. How can you let her get hurt? What else do you have to explain?” Mu Shanshan said coldly.

Butcher and Xue Zhi sighed helplessly; there was nothing they could do. Mu Shanshan was right, so they could only remain silent.

Seeing all three hesitant to speak, Mu Shanshan grew more exasperated. At this point, Crin ka spoke up, “Shanshan, forgive Lin Fei and the others. They probably feel just as bad as you do; they love Keke very much too.”

Mu Shanshan may not know, but Crin ka definitely knew that abroad, Lin Fei and his group were ruthless, killing without a thought. Yet back ho, they treated Keke like a princess, never leaving her side, fulfilling her every demand, making people envious.

The kind of love that fears losing her if held too tightly, or dissolving in the mouth if spoken too harshly, undoubtedly showed how dearly Lin Fei and his brothers cherished Keke.

Mu Shanshan seed to realize she might have said too much. She was aware of how Lin Fei and the others treated Keke, so she didn’t say anything more. She only asked, “Where’s Keke?” Lin Fei told her, and she imdiately ran upstairs.

Watching Mu Shanshan’s anxious deanor, everyone sensed that it was concern for Keke that prompted her words, so they didn’t take offense.

“Don’t just stand there stupidly, co with . Radar has sent new information.”

Crin ka prompted, and the three imdiately beca serious, following Crin ka back to the room. Lin Fei asked, “What news does Radar have?”

“Radar said he hasn’t found out about Little Tiger’s matter yet, but he discovered another thing, and it’s related to you, Lin Fei.” Crin ka said.

“Related to ? What do you an?” Lin Fei asked.

“Do you know? The Mo Country high officials want to call you back, to have you return once more.” Crin ka asked.

“I don’t know.”

Lin Fei shook his head. He truly didn’t know about this, nor had he received any information.

Crin ka laughed, “Unexpectedly, Lin Fei, you’re quite the hot commodity. Since Mo Country values you so much, shouldn’t you seize this opportunity?”

Lin Fei sighed and said, “Opportunity? The so-called opportunity is what I should have received. Unfortunately, I already discarded them, and trying to pick them up again lacks sufficient reason.”

Hearing Lin Fei’s words, it was clear to everyone. Lin Fei had essentially decided to abandon those “honors” when he chose to leave Mo Country. Now that Mo Country wanted to return to Lin Fei what originally belonged to him, they’d have to give Lin Fei enough reason to accept it. Otherwise, Lin Fei would definitely not accept.

“Since you put it that way, I have to inform you of a regretful thing. Because the Mo Country officials want to summon you back, Wu Yufeng might feel threatened by you and is preparing to kill you.”
