A smile appeared on her face. She turned to Mi Xuan, “I’m sorry for making you worry.”
Mi Xuan shook her head and said, “What are you talking about? We’re friends.”
ng Zisu lowered her gaze and said softly, “But with my reputation, being around will only drag you down. What they said about what happened to is true.”
Mi Xuan froze in shock, but quickly grabbed ng Zisu’s hand and said firmly, “Even if you really did go through that, I still believe it wasn’t your fault. Don’t be sad, Zisu. As long as you didn’t do anything wrong, who cares what they say?”
ng Zisu felt a warmth in her heart and held Mi Xuan’s hand tightly.
