Song Zhen’s voice wasn’t loud, but the aura he exuded startled Ke Yanhuai, causing him to step back subconsciously.
However, Ke Yanhuai quickly straightened up and defended himself righteously, “You got the wrong idea, Mr. Zhen. I didn’t assault an innocent woman. This lady is my concubine, who has been misbehaving and tarnishing my family’s reputation. That’s why I couldn’t help but discipline her.”
Song Zhen frowned and looked at ng Zisu. “Are you really his concubine?”
With a pained smile and blood on her lips, ng Zisu’s eyes held a resolute gleam as she said firmly, “I’ll say it again, Ke Yanhuai. You disgust ! I would rather die than be your concubine!”
“Do you have a death wish, you bitch?”
Song Zhen interrupted Ke Yanhuai coldly, “You said she is your concubine, but do you have docunts from both families to prove it?”
Ke Yanhuai was startled and muttered. “The papers aren’t ready yet.”
The smile on Song Zhen’s face turned into a mocking sneer. “Since there’s no docuntation, you might as well accept the punishnt from Heavenly dical Valley!”
As soon as he finished speaking, a flash of sword light burst forth from Song Zhen’s hand.
Ke Yanhuai didn’t even make a sound before collapsing unconscious to the ground.
Song Zhen approached ng Zisu and extended his hand toward her. “Are you alright? Are you also a student of Heavenly dical Valley? Let take you back.”
However, ng Zisu didn’t take his hand. Instead, she shook her head and struggled to her feet, her voice hoarse as she said, “No need, but thank you for today!”
After saying that, she hurriedly ran toward the unconscious Lei.
Song Zhen was left standing there, slightly dazed for a mont, before he hoisted the unconscious Ke Yanhuai over his shoulder and left.
While beating a fellow student wouldn’t lead to expulsion or severe punishnt, it would still result in so corporal punishnt.
Song Zhen chuckled with a hint of satisfaction on his face. He always enjoyed helping others adhere to the rules.
The Enforcent Hall was staffed by students from the Martial Arts Academy, and the person in charge was Song Zhen’s best friend. He would make sure that Ke Yanhuai received a very “warm” welco.
…
Not long after ng Zisu had sent Lei back to his room, she rushed out again, her face etched with worry.
Not long after, Xi Yue left the teahouse and walked slowly to the dilapidated hut.
As soon as she entered the house, she bumped into Douding. Douding raised his head and looked at her warily.
But after seeing Xi Yue’s face, Douding murmured in confusion, “Brother is so beautiful!”
When Douding opened his mouth wide, it caused his face to contort in pain. He cried out, his sallow little face scrunching up.
Xi Yue reached out her hand, gently sweeping her water spiritual power over Douding’s face and body. Within monts, the wounds on his face miraculously disappeared. ŘάꞐỌ𐌱Ě𝙎
Douding let out a soft “ah” and touched his face, then looked at Xi Yue with wide-eyed astonishnt.
“My body no longer hurts. Did you heal ?”
Xi Yue didn’t speak but nodded slightly.
Douding’s eyes imdiately lit up, “Beautiful brother, you are so amazing! When Sister Zisu treated , I just no longer had bruises and bleeding. With a gentle touch of your hand, even the wounds on my face disappeared.”
Xi Yue giggled and asked, “Where did ng Zisu go off to?”
Upon hearing this, Douding’s little face fell, and he pouted, “Brother Lei is hurt and hasn’t woken up. Sister Zisu said she couldn’t cure him, so she went to ask for an instructor from the academy. But we’re all orphans nobody wants. Would an instructor from Heavenly dical Valley co to treat us? If no one cos, would Brother Lei die?”
