After a pause, she added, “Besides, I’m a doctor. Now, can you let check your condition?”
The young man was silent for a while, then slowly extended his arm.
As Xi Yue examined his pulse, his gaze fell upon Xi Yue’s face, as if he was both probing and firmly committing her features to his mory.
Without spiritual power, the only thing Xi Yue could do was to assess his condition through his pulse. The young man’s injuries were healing rapidly; aside from so physical weakness, there were almost no other significant issues.

The boy’s eyes fell on his wrist. His body was cold. It had been cold since he woke up, and he wasn’t surprised by it. It seed like he was born this way.
Yet, Xi Yue’s hand was warm. Her soft, delicate palm rested on his wrist, radiating an unmistakable warmth and presence that couldn’t be ignored.
