Having learned energy compression and energy flow, the King of Sudden Death's defensive power increased further. As for Lu Ran himself, he beca increasingly adept at the four major Energy Usage Techniques. As his energy control improved, cooking and forging beca more effortless as well.

"Alright, you go figure it out by yourself. I'm totally knackered; I'll go have a nap," Lu Ran said and then added, "Also, tell the other six to assemble at Jade Mountain first thing tomorrow morning. I've brought gifts for everyone." With a wave of his hand, he entered the house.
anwhile, the Dark Crow was still savoring the power of the Spirit Gem.
A few more minutes passed by.
Its eyes widened as it felt its Dark Power and ntal Power rging, seemingly giving birth to so ground-breaking power.
"My Lord————"
Just as it was about to report to Lu Ran, it pondered for a mont and decided it had better test its new abilities first.
The Dark Crow spread its wings and flew and flew until it saw a stray cat that had just caught a mouse and was about to enjoy a feast...
"Eat slowly; don't choke," the Dark Crow said as a faint dark red fluctuation ford around its beak, shaping into special characters that rged into the void. "My Lord!! My Lord!! Stop sleeping, I have great news!!!" With that, the Dark Crow excitedly flew towards Lu Ran's direction. It felt invincible, believing that with its voice alone, it could help Lu Ran achieve great things!!!
But right after saying this, it covered its beak, worried that its idle chatter could cause so mishap while Lu Ran was asleep...
