Chapter 81 - Mistress And Wife
Javier left her house under the care of Ellen and Ryan. Both of them appeared in the apartnt once they finished their breakfast and were on duty to keep an eye on her.
Although the differences and doubts related to Jennifer were all clear since she escaped with Javier from the island yet he never left her alone.
She isn't aware of the entire position in his state so can only keep tight and agree to whatever he was saying.
Both Ellen and Ryan were in the living room when she appeared with a glass of water for both of them.
"Thank you."
"Thanks for this."
Both the parties replied with a smile and drank the entire glass of water in one go. Jennifer took the glasses back in the kitchen and took a deep breath.
'I guess I should ask him now..' because not asking will not benefit her in any way as well.
Coming out, she sat with both of them and passed them a warm smile. "Oh.. well I was wondering if you can both take out of here... Obviously With you both. It is too boring here."
Ryan and Ellen gave each other a look and communicated with their eyes. She wasn't able to comprehend anything through their facial expressions too, which were stagnant throughout.
At last, Ellen asked, "Are you sure Miss. Jennifer?"
"Absolutely. Why don't you go and ask Javier for his directions related to this? I'm in his state, what else can I even do now?" She left no stone for negotiation with her.
Leaving all the matter on Javier's shoulder, Jennfier was only awaiting Javier's confirmation.
She knew his mind tendency a little bit too and was certain that he will agree to it.
Ellen nodded his head and walked to the little corner of the apartnt to talk with Javier. anwhile, Ryan remains seated on the couch.
He looked at Jennifer and asked politely, "Ms. Jennifer, I hope that you aren't finding it difficult to adjust here."
"Well.. no.. but the problem is that I'm not used to changing my bed every ti. So, when I got comfortable on that island, we had to run away. Now, it is new so it will take so ti." She honestly replied back and Ryan nodded in understanding.
Jennifer was also getting curious to ask further but before that Ellen showed back. His call was finished when he spoke, "Sir agreed. He asked us to take you to so particular places which you will love to witness."
A bright smile spread all over her face when she heard the answer. So places? Well, it was better than to stay at ho all alone and just lay in bed lazily.
"All right. I shall go and change into a suitable piece of clothing for the outside." With this, she made her way to the wardrobe and put on a blue dress, protecting her from the current weather.
With it, Jennifer stepped out within a few minutes which was quite shocking because both the man hadn't expected a lady to get ready as fast as her. "Ready?"
"Sure Ms. Taylor," Ellen answered back and the three of them made their way to the apartnt downstairs. There was a car present downstairs and Jennifer took the backseat, leaving the front place for both the giant's n.
With that, the three of them took their turn in the direction of bringing her to explore. But her curiosity grew more and more with the passing ti when they made the environnt inside the car more awkward and silence swallowed the entire place.
She cleared her throat to say, "Where are we going now?"
"It is a museum. Sir asked us to take you to one present in the states and he especially ant that you love knowing about the past."
It was exactly who she was. The sa made her wonder, how well Javier knows about her liking and dislikings?
She never displayed them so easily in front of him ever.
With the passing tis, she was getting more suspicious about the current scenario. But still keeping her doubts under wraps was the best way to avoid any wrong situation and let things go smoothly.
"Well, what does the museum is about?" Being one of the children who always have the curiosity for the past and her asking the sa question.
"It is generally about the past background of the states. About the royal families and how Javier's family beca prominent. Also how the places are divided into states and the reason behind the enmity."
The description that Ryan has made her feel more and more suspicious regarding the past. She never visited one, because there is no place like this back in her state.
'Getting to know more about the background… So I can also know why Javier and Lucas are enemies with each other? Hmm?' She was basically looking forward to the place to visit.
Within fifteen minutes, Ellen parked the car in one of the museums. They entered via VIP entry, all thanks to both the man who tagged along.
Moreover, it seems that they have connections all through the entire place.
'After all, they aren't Javier's left hand.. having contacts must be easy..' She felt so and agreed that they do have certain powers and authority as well.
The three of them walked inside the museum when Jennifer's eyes fell on the large picture that was present in the center, of the entrance.
The picture wasn't a simple one though. There were practically two pictures in one fra. On the left was a man sitting with a lady and two sons behind her.
In the other picture was the sa man but with a different lady and a girl standing behind them. She was puzzled to learn how can a man have two ladies at the sa ti?
But her question was solved too easily by Ellen. He stood beside her and answered in a subtle tone.
"The lady on the left is.. Javier and Charles's mother and the lady at right.. is their stepmom. Their father married another lady after his mother… disappeared."
