Chapter 60 - Ignore

The sudden voice interrupted what she was thinking at this point when Jennifer turned around and saw a lady standing there, who had a bag on her shoulders and kept on staring at Jennifer with mixed emotions.

The girl looked like a child most probably in her teens and the look was the most innocent one, which might lt any adult's heart.

"Am sorry? But who are you?" Jennifer asked in return, not knowing how to converse with the little girl. Should she say that she is… Lucas's fiance or just tell her real na?

But that would be too much risk and she doesn't think that she is willing to take it at this point in the unknown land.

The little girl just descended her car which was driven by one of the drivers and the ponytail of her indicated that she must have been to the university or school, it was hard to guess her age.

At the sa ti, Ellen noticed soone's presence and turned his head to look in the direction to find the girl.

He walked near Jennifer and whispered into her ears with a soft voice, "She is sir's sister, Amaira Johnsons."

"Oh.." when she heard Ellen's words, it finally made sense to her about why the girl was standing in the front of the mansion. "Hello. Well... I am waiting for your brother's arrival...."

"Wait, what?! You an elder brother Charles?" The girl again the question once again but Jennifer had heard the na for the very first ti in her entire life. "Umm... No, I ant you're.. another brother I guess, his na is Javier.."

Jennifer doesn't know that Javier also has another brother. Was there more than one heir in the Johson family? She could only guess from how Amaira said her Charles brother's na...

'Gosh, Jennifer how will you be aware of it? You don't know the history of the Jonson family, nor of Lucas' family...just keeping yourself away from them is the best solution..' She corrected herself from ti to ti with her own encouraging words to reminder her mind to not run on the wrong path!

But it seems that the mont Jennifer ntioned Javier's na, a bright shimr did light the girl's entire face. It looked like she was over the moon to learn about his arrival in the mansion.

It was evident to know from how her smile turned into a wide smile almost watching her ears and her eyes, which are now crescent moon.

"You an to say that Javier's brother is back now?!?" she excitedly asked, while jumping on her feet which were making Jennifer feel awkward and at the sa ti, she had no idea how to reply back at the girl's excitent. "Umm...Y...Yeah, I suppose? He went inside to have so talks and will be outs-"

She wasn't even able to complete her own words and before that, Ryan stepped forward to notice the girls' excitent level. He had no expression on his face and stayed straight as always, "Ms. Johnson, please control yourself. It isn't good for your image."

He wished to say further but stopped in the middle when his eyes t Amaira's eyes which were no less than any treasure. The excitedness on her face imdiately vanished and was now replaced with a frown. "What are you doing here too? I wasn't expecting your presence.."

"Mr. Johnson decided to co for a short visit here to his family and I tagged along with him as usual.'' His reply seed to make the frown that appears on Amaira's face deepened when she heard Ryan's comnt.

Her heart experienced a sudden squeeze and shock when she learned that he was here, only to accompany her brother.

Not because of her...

Jennifer noticed Amaira's eyes and she can feel sothing was definitely odd between these two. Yet she never said any single word against them and looked at the excited girl.

"Javier is inside. He will be back soon. You can et him then." That was all that Jennifer replied hut when Amaira's focus shifted back to her, she gazed at her from top to bottom. "But you never told who you are? what are you doing with Ellen and Ryan?"

"Well… I'm... Jennifer... Taylor." She was confused and ant to keep the introduction small and simple.

But, she was going to add sothing more, but before she could have opened her mouth, Javier appeared outside the villa and walked near his group.

"Hey, you're alright?" His foremost question fell on Jennifer, looking at her if she was hard or soone tried to touch her but in return, he received a negative answer from her side.

But then.. his eyes averted back to his baby sister who was trying to get a little bit of attention from him. "Hello, brother! How are you?"

No reply from Javier's side. He just ignored her presence in thin air and turned to face Ellen, "They agreed on certain terms and conditions. Not full-heartedly yet.. it will work for now."

"As per your wish. We should now move in the direction towards your apartnt then. It would be advised to cover the maximum distance before sunset." Javier too nodded his head and was ready to go back to his car before he heard.

"Are you once again going to ignore like always because of my mother, Elder Brother?" Amaira's innocent voice echoed in his head. It was hard to control his own emotions and face her, yet it was his stonic heart that ultimately stopped him.

It wasn't easy to overco and forget all that you have gone through in the past and he is living in the sa bubble. How can he love those people and talk with them nicely who broke his happy family? Whose hand is behind his mother's misery and destroyed all his childhood!

It wasn't as easy as anyone could describe. Lowering his face, "Amaira, go back inside."

"But br-"

"Just go as I said. Don't make angry over you without any reason."
